Kingdom Hearts Is Sora a jerk? Something I noticed...

I never thought Sora to be a jerk. Even though I, myself could care less about the others of Destiny Island, they were so minor they easily got overlooked. But regardless in actuality Sora actually DID know where they were. You can see Tidus in Traverse Town right after the island goes. So he knew where they were.

 

He isn't a jerk, he's closer to Riku and Kairi than he was to everyone else from Destiny Island.

 

Well considering that he went on a quest to restore them, I would say no.

If we are talking about CoM Sora and the like, I would agree.

 

I consider him somewhat of a jerk... But for different reasons...

 

He's not a jerk so much as stupid and forgetful. XD

 

I dont think he's a jerk. I think he just cared about Riku and Kairi more than everyone else.

 

Well he did look through about 20 worlds for his girlfriend and best friend. I'd call that a stalker. XD

its nomuras fault that he didnt think of sora crying late at night
cuz he missed his mommy and daddy

i dont think he's a jerk purely becuse he sacrificed his memories so he could find a way to get back to riku and kiari he also went through ALOT
of fighting

I don't believe Sora's a jerk. I mean, if MY island dissapered into the darkness I wouldn't go looking for my mom either.

Sora's not a jerk, he's just a really really really one-sided generic RPG hero. ;)

Anywey...
He was going to venture out at the start of KH1, so he wasn't really fond of anything or anyone on the island, including his mom.
Also, there's no telling that he wasn't going to look for them after he found Riku and Kairi.

 

In Traverse Town when you land if you go near the moogle walking round Tidus is standing just there but im not sure about wakka or Selphie, they might be hidden at some other worlds in hidden areas, might not :S

 

i thought it was funny that he ditched his mum and we never hear from her again

 

A jerk wouldn't search over 15 different worlds for 2 years (taking a 1 year nap, so 1 year) looking for his best friends. plus, I'd be running away from home in the first place, why look for my parents?

Yep, this would be an amazing storyline. Boy whose island is swallowed by darkness goes looking for his mother. Oh, and a giant key is involved. Exciting.

Nah, he seems like a jerk to some of you who would protect their parents over everything else. I however..

And of course he isn't going to bother looking for Wakka etc. They can handle themselves, and he knows if he goes looking for Kairi and Riku, his BEST friends, then the problem would be solved thus reuniting him with his other friends too. XD

 

Hmmm, I wouldn't say he was a total jerk, but he was kind of being inconsiderate as to what happened with the others =/.

 

Maybe it was because he knew they never left Destiny Island, and he was trying to get back to them...?

 

Wakka is in Agrabah for a short time after beating Jafar when no Heartless are out. Though he doesn't have the same skin as he did, or remember Sora.
