Kingdom Hearts Is Sora a jerk? Something I noticed...

I've always thought Sora was a jerk. I never even gave a though about how he forgot about Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka!

And his mother...

He's also very selfish. All he cares about through all three games is getting back to his home and finding his friends. What about Donald and Goofy? And what was wrong with helping Organization XIII? All they were trying to do was become whole. If Sora's a gullible idiot and destroys every heartless he comes near, that's not their fault.

 

He's not a jerk.He just cared more for Riku and Kairi than he did with the rest.That doesn't make him a jerk

 

Let's see, I saw Tidus at Traverse Twon so he must have been transported as well

As for Selphie, Wakka and Sora's Mom, they might have been on the other side of the island, as youo have noticed that island was never touched

 

I don't think Sora is a jerk at all. I mean if your whole town got lost and there is only so much you can do about it, personally I think I would focus all my efforts towards finding my best friends. After all, he really did have a special bond with Kairi and Riku.

 

I noticed he wasn't looking for anyone else to, I was like; "Uh... okay?"

Then KH2 came along...

And he killed off innocent "people" who just wanted to exsist.

That's when I wanted to bash him for giving "heroic" speeches about hearts to people who don't have one, just to rub it in.

So yeah, a mini rant with one answer;

Sora is a jerk, full stop.

 

No he ain't no jerk it was brave of him to go out there in the first place and those 2 were his best friends so it kinda makes sense all he used to do was practice fight against the others.

He never saw those 3 disappear off the island like he did with Riku and Kairi.

 

The Organization weren't innocent they were using Heartless to kill other people so that makes them the jerk.

 

The way I see things, they drop the unimportant characters so they are not in the way.

 

No ofcourse not! He is just a little naive and maybe they somehow are still there but just unmentioned.

 

Sora 'can' be a jerk, but nah, I don't consider in KH1 he was a jerk. If anything, he was pretty compassionate in KH1, to the point of being nice to Donald who just said that Riku, one of his BFF, could not go with them. Sora's softness at that point is what made Riku think Maleficent was right at that point when saying he had been replaced. I did think Sora was meaner in KH2 when he called out Demyx saying he was a Nobody and had no emotions.

However, if I ended up in a place after believably my home land was destroyed, and I saw my best friend, who though he was acting strange, was still a survivor, I'd try to find him again. I would have been more upset about my home being lost and all the other people that probably died, including my parents and other people, but the sign of one survivor might lead me to believe there were others. Riku and Kairi were very important to Sora and Sora is kind of scatter brained. I don't consider him a jerk as much as sometimes he can be rather oblivious, such as when he unlocked the Underdrome in KH2 and when Auron says something about it, his response is 'Wonder who would do something like that?'. So I don't see him as a jerk. He's pretty caring, just really he fits his name (like the air) and his feet aren't always on the ground.

 

You put too much thought into a simple matter, don't ya think?

 

Well, if I'm going to respond to something, yep, I always think it out! Otherwise, it's probably not worth me replying to.

And on another note, people keep saying the kid in Traverse Town was Tidus while others say no...and the people that say it was not Tidus are correct. There was a dark skinned kid that looked like Wakka somewhere else that I noticed too. I think the programmers just got a bit lazy there and just switched color palettes there.

 

Well, with Riku and Kairi gone, he does have to search for them, as everyone else is pretty much in safer place than the other two I suppose, not to mention some of them can already defend themselves (like Tidus and Wakka...at least, I think so).

 

i saw a agrabah style wakka in kh1....just after you defeat jafar you go back adn if you look around the square at the castle gates you see a wakka-look-alike

You probably hate Riku and Mickey aswell then, since they defeated some of the Nobodies aswell. And come on: Xemnas, Xigbar, Saix, Xaldin, Larxene and Marluxia and the others deserved it, they kidnapped Kairi and turned Sora's memory into Mush to forget his friends and I don't think he forgot to tell Kairi Axel was sorry, you bearly no what happens off screen anyway. I admit I felt sorry for Demyx and Axel (hated Axel in Chain of Memories) but Namine wasn't even talking to Sora anyway and Roxas tried to kill him, how would feel if your Nobody tried to kill you, PISSED OFF! That's what.

 

Not mention as Riku quotes "You Mess up our worlds." Meaning they're sending Heartless into different worlds and killing innocent people.

 

The Kingdom Hearts series seems to forget about parents entirely. They're only really mentioned twice: when Sora's mom calls him for dinner, and when Riku says "We may never see our parents again". I'm sure Sora misses his family, though, but he seems to be closest to Riku and Kairi. I mean, he hangs out with them the most, and seems to have the fondest memories with them.

I'd say he really cared more about Riku and Kairi than anyone else. I don't think he really even thought about the others.

 

he's not a jerk. i'm sure that he knew that when the island was destroyed his friends and mom were gone with it.Riku left the islands and Kairi just disappeared, so i'm sure he was worried about wat happened to them.Also, since in KH2, he knew that his family and friends were safe at the islands and was only worried about finding Riku and King Mickey since they might be in danger.....well, until Kairi got kidnapped, then he started worrying about Kairi again.

Sora isnt a jerk! 8D and we dont really know if tidus, wakka, selphie, and his mom had anything wrong with them because the island and where they live arnt the same place...they take boats to the islands........soooo everyone could of been fine 8D and anyways...riku and kairi are much better 8D
