But you need to relize that when Sora kills actual people, they attack him first or at least needs to be destroyed (depending on the situation), that's not really being a jerk. He's just trying to stop the evil and help the good.

We dont even know if he had a mother. That person who called Sora for dinner in KH1 could've been maid or something. And nobody else in the whole KH saga looked for thier parents.

Besides, I find Riku more of a jerk in KH1, because he betrayed Sora and stuff.

He knew they wrere safe on the islands. >_>

He looked for Kairi because he.. you know. ;)

He looked for Riku so he can be his maid.

sora is a jerk in a way you see the organization the times he see's them he just throws insults at them even axel but aside from that he may not have really cared about them but they didnt care about him i mean thats why kairi remembered him but still... you see tidus and wakka are extremely annoying intent on beating sora to death with a stick and a ball and selphie...well....shes weird.

I don't think he was a jerk really. If you think about Riku was the one who opened the door. Sora just went along for the ride. He couldn't control what happend to his island. So I say that he is not one.

I don't think he's a jerk for only searching for them (plus his family is not mentioned in the entire series!) but I do think he is a jerk for other reasons! :D

    Which are? Lol

I voted he doesn't care. He probably doesn't care as much as finding Riku and Kairi because he suspects that they're already dead after the darkness swallowed the island. And he doesn't have any time to grieve about it either because so much starts to happen to him, like with the keyblade and such. then he finds hope and doesn't say anything anyway because he finds out that there's a way to restore his world, which basically in a nutshell means restoring wakka, restoring selphie and tidus, restoring his parents, restoring etc

    Yeah..

That wasn't Tidus. That was Tidus's body with recoloration... There's also an arab-Wakka. Same body, not the same cahracter.

And I don't know why he doesn't love his mommy. He should.

And no one really mention teir family either...=O and I'd want to find my closer friends and he was told that Selphie and them would return safely after sealing kingdom hearts so...O___o why look when they are going to be ok in the end unlike Riku and Kairi...u know?

Sora's not a jerk because he doesn't care about the others as much as Riku and Kairi.

I only started thinking Sora was a jerk during the second game. First game he was full of innocence. D:

I think that Sora is not a jerk because Riku and Kairi are his best friends and are the people that he most worry about. ... but i think that is bad that Sora didn't worry about their parents when the island dissapear.

No, I don't think he's a jerk. I mean, when I was 14 I cared more about my best friends than my parents. It's normal. And think about it; Mom only got one line, and you never actually saw her. My vote goes to just building up to the Heartless attack. Maleficent needed to be destroyed; had she been able to finish her plot the worlds would've all vanished. Really, if you had to go on a grand adventure, you would you care about more; your best friends, or the kids you're kinda friends with? Like a few other people have said; after the Islands were restored, everyone came back. I doubt Kairi and Selphie would have benn going to school if they were the only ones there.

As for the Organization; I will say that some of them didn't deserve it. But, remember that Xemnas is really Xheanort?(sp?) Remember how he was responsible for originally opening the door, thus causing the whole thing? Also, although their goal was not bad, they were willing to do just horrible things to achieve it. Just look at what happened in Beast's Castle; they were telling Beast all that crap just so they could get his heart. Sora only got the one side of the story; the "Oh, they're so bad, they blah blah blah....". And since he trusted them, he had no reason to question the side he heard. And any member of the Organization could've stepped up and called a truce.

He was odviously going to be angry at Axel for originally kidnapping Kairi. I think he let it go when Axel blew himself up to save him, but come on, if someone kidnapped the person I love, i'd still be a tad bitter, even if they did die to save me. It's just human emotion.

Well, Sora, Riku, and Kairi are BEST friends while tidus wakka and selphie, they're minor characters. They probably also thought it'd be too much work to add them into the quest so... yeah.

I don't think he's a jerk, but then they are his friends though. They weren't really that important from the beginning though and Sora's head probably got jumbled when he went through the Corridor of Darkness so he only thought about Riku and Kairi.
