Kingdom Hearts II Is Namine the 8th princess of hearts?

Well, yeah, I had an idea that since Kairi is a princess of heart, dosent that make Namine a princess o' heart?

 

well she is the nobody of kairi
so i guess it is possible

but in khfm and in kh2, the kings keyblade and riku's were created but they are not in the original theory.

n e wyz, kairi's heart was transered to Sora when he came to take her from Destiny Islands and when Sora come back from being a Heartless. and Sora's was given to the darkness when he became a Heartless.

Basically they both share a heart!

I don't think Namine can be a "princess of heart" if she doesn't have a heart since she's a nobody.

Obviously, because she is an element of Kairi, just like Roxas was a Keyblade weilder because he is an element of Sora. BUT NAMINE HAS NO HEART (she is a Nobody), so she is in a way "an element of a Princess of Heart."

This also explains why Namine is a witch. When Kairi lost her heart, of course, a Nobody had to be made. But she couldn't become a Heartless because she had no darkness in her heart because she was a Princess of Heart. So because this situation was a little different than most, Namine was "deformed" (in a way that she had odd powers).

But no, she is not an 8th Princess of Heart. She is an element of one of the 7.

 

My theory is that Kairi's power as the princess of heart got transferred into Naminé, but in a different way... in her power to mess around with Sora's and his friends' hearts.

Also, another question: since Sora was a Keyblade wielder, Roxas received that ability. So because Kairi is a Keyblade wielder, would Naminé also receive the transfer?

 

that's true, Wavewhisper. very good. Namine should too be a Keyblade weilder. But if you think about it, does it really matter anymore? After KH2, Roxas and Namine are again part of Sora and Kairi. So they won't be important anymore and even if they do play a part, they will be in Sora and Kairi, so it won't really involve them.

 

I know it doesn't matter much anymore, but it's just an interesting thing to consider. However, there is also the point that Sora discovered his ability to wield the Keyblade before the creation of his Nobody, while Kairi didn't find hers until afterwards (or rather, Riku found it for her). So maybe it doesn't count.

 

I don't think so. Although Namine is effectively Kairi, she has no heart, so she can't be a princess of heart.

She is just an empty shell of two (that's right: TWO) people.
