That's an absolutely awful thing to say... Micheal Jackson is not an awful person. Everyone always looks at the bad things that happened during the course of his life. I, on the other hand, believe he was simply amazing. His music was so meaningful and he cared a lot. He made songs to in order to help the world be a better place. He was truely a great man.

Everyone in life is an and it depends on how they lived to see what they should be considered in the end....
I believe he was an angel...and always will be...

I think he was a legend, his music has touched so many lives and he has made a massive impact on the world. I don't think someone who was evil could do it like he did. People do concentrate on the bad things so they can feel better than everyone else but really everything good he did outweighs whatever bad actions he took. Plus people just like a good story to tell and the bad ones always seem to be more interesting than the good ones.

Now, I don't really think it's fair to put him as either - like Ienzo said, I would put him as a legend. His music touched many generations, and sadly his mistakes seem to be remembered more than his talents. No matter what though, he will always be remembered.

Also, it appears you put more bad points in your questions than good. .-.

Unfortunately his mistakes get looked at more than his good points, which I think is so sad. He defined an era of music. He raised a lot of awareness both for children and the planet, and the needs of the world in general, through his music. He set a new standard in music videos (seriously. Thriller was one such example, but some of the other videos he made were way up there too).

What do people end up remembering him for? Neverland. The near-dropping of his own infant child from a window. Numerous allegations against him for pedophilia.

I'm going with Ienzo ad saying he's more of a legend than either angel or devil.

    Neither.
    He was human.
    He made mistakes.
How bad those mistakes really were, I don't know.
Whether those mistakes outweigh the good things of him, I don't know.

But just to say he's a legend despite what the bad points is almost as bad calling him a devil despite the good points.
I'm not going to judge him. I liked his older music. I didn't keep up with the news stories about him.
To put it simply, I hope he rests in peace and his music was a big part of my childhood.
That's all I can say about him.

He was a performer. He made good music and entertainment. Anything else is none of my business.

My thoughts exactly. Thinking that everything can just be categorized in solid compartments is a dangerous thing.
Even though I haven't followed all the fuss around his persona, I can still safely say that he was inspiring for a bunch of people but all the while he has probably made mistakes as well.

'Judge not others, less ye be judged'

Or something to that manner. In cases like this where the public isn't given all the facts, deducting the morality of a man like Michael Jackson owuld be like replicating a painting in the dark. We are blind to what really hapoened in his life. We'll never know the answer, and forever speculate.

Rhetorical question stegosaurus is asking rhetorical questions.

His music was awesome, but he probably molested all those kids. No one says the same thing about you for almost 20 years when it isn't true. He's up there with the pope and the catholic church on the pedo-meter

Well, The first time I heard of him was when he was being accused of assaulting some kid, so I automatically hated him. But after a while I realized that he was pretty awesome. I'm not saying that he didn't do bad things but I do think his music was inspiring to a certain extent.

He was simply misunderstood in my opinion. We have learned that he was on drugs so can we really say it was him consciously saying "May i sleep with your son?" He was a good father and an amazing musician. If he was gay, then he would be a legend among the LGBT members.

He's not a devil he's nice and cared for his kids and helping others so he's a angel.

He's neither a devil or an angel. He was a man, as Miss Swan would say. He seemed to have a Peter Pan complex going, which could be directly connected to his father who pushed his sons very hard and Michael was the youngest and yet became the forefront of the group Jackson 5. He had little to no childhood and thus I think that's why he wanted to connect to boys so much. He was inappropriate with them but nothing in court seemed to prove that he had actually molested any of them. The worst charge I saw was that he was showing a teenage boy some porn mags which is something teenage boys do, much to the dismay of mothers everywhere. He was wrong for it. It was inappropriate, but I didn't really see anything else that was so out of line. He was immature and a child at heart that just didn't want to grow up, so it put him at odds with others. I do think also that the mothers that raised the issues... after the first case, what mother would let her kid be alone with the guy? They were clearly out for money at this point. Just my opinion, but hey, no kid of mine would be hanging out with a potential child molester ALONE. If that kid was harmed, I wouldn't be suing the man. I'd be shooting myself in the head because that's just stupid.

The guy otherwise had some great music that I grew up to. I enjoyed it a lot and he probably inspired me to be a decent dancer because otherwise I'd be the stereotypical guy with no rhythm. xD He had some innovative songs and though he seemed kind of stuck on himself in some ways, he also seemed to care a lot about others and was trying through music to send some clear messages. I don't worship the guy by any means, but I also was sad to hear he died so young when he seemed to be starting to get his career back on and he'll be missed.
