i've been in the same exact situation.....i loved a girl for like a year then she stopped talking to me cause she went to a diff school.....i was like ok she's gone...what should i do now??

Anywayz trust me in life you will get hurt many times by love! But thats part of it, why else do they call it Falling? But you will also have so much happiness from it! Love is deffinately real and when you find the real thing it will be so worth the wait! Don't give up on love! :D
