Is it possible to get light stuck between mirrors

    Lets just say, throw a flashlight in to a room that is literally nothing but mirrors. Close the door, also a mirror.

    Only part of it is reflected. The rest is absorbed. In the blink of an eye all the light would have been absorbed.
