So a hades sends monsters for hercules to fight... just because, Meg thinks asking a shota to have a nice talk with the god of death will make him stop, Hades decides to revive the mother of all bad guys, except he picks a hero(seriously I was expecting some super *******, or Kefka/Kuja/Seymour or something), then unleashes his evil plan to... make sora unlock an arena and throw games for people. What?

    Hades logic.

    Auron is awesome~

There had to be a way to unlock the Underdrome. This was a good way, and it was also a good way to continue what was going in KH.

Even in the actual movie, Hades was essentially a God of Trolling. It most likely made complete sense to him. <See Insane Troll Logic>
On the other hand, while Auron acted fairly heroicly in FFX, he would more accurately qualify as an Anti-Hero (he sacrificed one of his best friends, even if it was technically their choice), which from Hades's point of view would be no different to a villain.
So yeah, Hades's plan was pretty nonsensical... to us. But to him, it was a perfectly fine plan.

It seems Hades only pursues what he sees is best in his own interests to keep himself out of danger. Of course dew to Sora's valor, his plan using Auron swiftly backfired. I just can't wait when in one of the games giving Cerberus enough raw meat will add him to your party.

Aparently Hades was an instigator in Olympus Colisium. He summoned Auron to kill Herculus (backfired),Sent the hydra to attack the coliseum (Backfired). Guess he thought the tournement was the only thing he could suceed in.

    No doubt.

I didn't mind it that much.
I guess it's just to move the story along.

Hades could of brought back an even more powerful monster but I think him choosing a someone who was dead was a way for Auron to be introduced and get involved with the story. I mean it's likely that some players will prefer a FF character than another monster like Cerberus or the hydra (which werent that hard). And it fits with hades character by his usual agreement with someone like cloud in kh1 although Auron didn't play along which made him a party member rather than an enemy to fight.

    Well, yes...?

For us, that plan was a little... much for nothing. But to him it was like a great plan, especially because his goal was re-open that thing. Doing the plan, Sora would unlock and he would be happy.
