What does rep have anything to do with this? I'm simply stating that any concept of "good" and "evil" is just as contingent as "right" and "wrong", and that you can't establish a higher good or a higher evil to things because it's completely based on a value judgement based on the current world. You yourself associated good with God and evil with the Devil, but this is just a contingent value judgement. Regardless of whether or not they exist, in another world, hell even in this one, someone believes that the Devil is good and God is bad. As I've said, it's perfectly possible that anything we consider evil could've been considered good; our definitions of the two concepts are contingent and inherent to this world alone.

there is no such thing as absolute good or evil. that's because those labels of good and evil change alot from person to person and over time. for example: people who support the war in Iraq would say the invasion there was a good thing and that we're helping people. and others would obviously disagree.

well thats my thing i dont consider an antagonist proper if they arnt that way otherwise its just "im gonna kick you cause ime wearin dark clothes." all antagonist should have a backstory a deeper reason for theyre evil besides "i felt like being evil today" and if they do then obviously it would be quite like the hero hesitating since in theyre story the are the hero, get it?

I don't think people EVER do it out of the kindness of their hearts, they do it for the tax writeoff. the more you donate and prove it, the more taxes are written off when it comes time to pay your taxes. Like I said, theres no good, no evil. There is only humanity.

But the point is that you can never be sure. What you think may be the case in certain instances but it isn't guaranteed. You only have a finite number of actual examples that you can use to come to this conclusion. Anything more would require unlimited insight into the thoughts and feelings of others.
