Irony?

Okay, first of all i'd like to post that i don't give a sh*t about Obama or McCain. I just noticed this. The first thing is a lot of people want to vote for
Obama because he is a democrate. Now what i learned in my US History class is that George Washinton's farwell adress stated that we shouldn't fall into political parties.

Another thing is people say to vote for Obama so we can have a black president. We'll that's just as bad as not voting for him because he's black.

The last thing is that i've been watching a lot of tv, and i can't help but see a lot of campain commercials. Now i'd rather eat olives (i hate olives) than watch another one. What i've seen is that Obama's people is "mudd slinging" McCain. Is Obama suppose to be a nice guy?

Well, actually, I think you have it kinda wrong. It's McCain who's also had his fair share of mudslinging in those commercials. Of course, your gonna see it in almost every campaign we have for our future presidents and sure, it may be bad voting for Obama just because he's black, but what you don't realize is that if you vote for him, you'd be making history. Sure, the people need to figure out what the candidates have in hold for the future, but not everyone is gonna just vote for him because he's black and not everyone is gonna vote for McCain because he's white. Either way, if Obama gets elected, that'll be making history.

I understand your point of view. I can actually do an argument for both canditates (probably make it a video), but with all this crap going on, i just can't stand it anymore.

 

About the mudslinging?

 

Just the stupid presidental election. That is why i'm niether republican nor democrat. And it doesn't matter who will win, a lot of people are going to be p*ssed off.

 

I don't see the big deal, unless your talking about the ignorance of some voters who don't look at what the candidates stand for or don't vote at all.

Yah! and on a wierd note, i can honestly say when my friends ask me (i bet most of them are democrat) who i'd vote for, i can say "I'm not voting for McCain"; and when my parents (republican) ask, i can say "NOt Obama!"
