iPod touch 2.x update download issues.

    For some reason, my iTunes won't let me download the firmware for my iPod to update to 2.0/2.1/2.2. It says...

    I don't even know what the hell it's talking about.

    Any help appreciated. <3 Thanks.

    Is your current iPod software 1.x?

    I'm pretty sure you have to pay to download 2.x.

    I'm not entirely sure, my friend's dad updated mine for me XD    ​

    And I already bought it and everything. But it won't let me download the stupid thing. If I can't figure it out by 10 tonight, I'm just gonna go torrent the 2.0 update and go straight to 2.2. It's starting to annoy me. lol

    EDIT

    I fixed it. Turned out Apple was having too much traffic (go figure) because of christmas. S'all good now. :]
