Insert Timey-Wimey Neutron Flow of Coolness Here {Doctor Who RP}

River smiled at Carrie. "It's been a while Carrie! It's nice to see you again."

John watched the commotion and just laughed. "Brilliant. But why am I so weird?" He bounded up to the new console with its inviting flashing lights and new levers. Could he still remember how to fly it? Of course he could! But what he was more interested in was whether his daughter had the same ability. "Kathy, tell me what you see in these buttons."

Kathy stroded up and studied the various taps, levers, buttons, pully things, type writer buttons, the scanner and whatever else she could find. Well, it was obvious wasn't it? If you pushed that red button, stepped 3 steps to the right while pulling that lever, turned that switch 182 degrees, typed out "3DOS97SJ7" on the typewriter, concentrated on your destination and yanked down that hefty looking lever covered with lights then you would end up in Paris 1919- duh! "Well, what's not to see? That's simple."

John beamed with realisation. "You can fly the TARDIS. I'll make sure we don't leave this place without a TARDIS. There is still so much to see, even my old eyes haven't seen it all." He ran over to her and hugged her, overpowered by how proud of her he was. "Brilliant!"

Rose stepped into the console room at that point. "Well, this is new. Very nice, who knew it could get bigger on the inside." She stopped to watch the madness with the Fez and couldn't help but think, although it was a stupid hat, it suited this man well.

"Rose, honey! Kathy can fly the TARDIS! Isn't that amaaaazing?!"

She just smiled happily in response."Look at you getting all excited over this old thing."

 

She overheard the commotion coming from John and Kathy. She smiled when she saw them hug and remembered her life back before she had met the Doctor. She began to miss her family, if only a little, and remembered the time before she had managed to track down the one from this universe. She started to choke up, and swallowed hard to try and keep herself from getting all misty eyed; she didn't want to be the one to ruin all these antics and reunions.

 

The girl burst out laughing, "Oh I knew you looked familiar, that was you? Awesome. It didn't work on me for some reason but whatever you did it seriously screwed up my image-" She paused, she was dangerously close to revealing what she was, if she hadn't already. Why was she talking this freely with someone she'd never met before? It was just so easy and she seriously doubted he was human anyway, if he was he was pretty extrodinary. She figured she might as well continue as she was already in the thick of it but be slightly more weary with her choice of words. "-thingy so I had to make myself scarce for a while. Fornunatly everyone was you so no-one noticed." She grinned and turned her attention back to the TARDIS.

"I must say I noticed, she is rather incredible, even if she has been through the wars." She caressed the TARDIS's interior tenderly with her hand. "Aren't you...sexy?" She said quietly to the machine, still reaching out with her mind to it and getting odd responces, like lights flickering. "And no wonder she's this hurt, what have you been doing to her? You've got to give her some respect, she's so powerful and yet so delicate." Without warning the girl started twirling around the TARDIS, pulling leavers, connecting exposed wires, pressing buttons and fixing panels. If you looked closely you might see the odd trail of energy coming from where she worked. She moved fast, as if in some intricate dance but every movement and thing she did had purpose. Giggling could be heard as she moved and she stopped suddenly to look at him, her now seemed a tad more messy and there was no denying she was enjoying herself. "I do hope you don't mind me. I'm only tring to make her better. I do hate to see her in this broken state."

 

Carrie laughed at the Doctor as he got his hat stolen by Cat. " Oh Cat how I love you!," said Carrie grinning madly. This must of best one of the best times for her in a long time... she really missed being with everyone all together... She was about to greet River when she noticated Cat getting all sad. "D'awww Kitty Cat... Don't cry... If I can't cry then you can't either," said Carrie hugging the girl genitally. Hell if anyone's crying it should be me... This Cat hasn't even been through the worst yet... she thought to herself sadly.
OOC: By the worst I mean The Doctor regenerating.. I'm sure that would be as hard for Cat as it was for Carrie...

 

{Yeah, it would. Especially considering that Ten was who she bonded with in the other universe.}

She looked over at Carrie and pouted.

"Hmph. Who said I was going to cry?"

She felt her voice nearly crack at that last word, but decided to ignore it. When Carrie hugged her, she decided to hug back.

"Fine. I guess we could make that deal."

She smiled and let go, seeing Eleven get closer to her... and the fez.

"Oh no you don't."

She teleported on top of the TARDIS, her legs dangling off the edge.

"Honestly, why so much grief over a fez?"

 

Carrie laughed and pointed at at the Doctor as Cat teleported away. "And that is why I love Cat!"

 

She smiled.

"Aw Carrie, you're too kind."

She started to laugh and began tossing the fez around.

 

"So, what is the big deal with the fez? It's just a hat." Rose laughed as he watched it fly over the place.

River was fiddling around with her device trying to pick up readings, the TARDIS that she was in to start with had just disappeared before her eyes and that doesn't just happen. If only she could track it then maybe she could find out what was gonig on. There were 11 Doctors all in one place and that meant 11 empty TARDISes out there, if that machine fell into the wrong hands then chaos would occur. Her mouth went dry at the thought. "Doctor... DOCTOR!" She yelled running after Eleven. "Can you think of anyone who may want the TARDIS? You saw it vanish before us- it didn't dematerialise so it wasn't piloted. Someone has taken it."

 

Luke smiled at the girl and shook his head but it didn't look like she was really going to talk to him. He'd spotted something he reckoned he mght be able to help with so regretfully he decided to leave go. "Sorry, I'm going to try and help out." He said to her. He still felt a little arkward around her and didn't understand why her was getting so hot talking to her. She was only a girl, why did he feel like he should stay with her?

Anyway, he walked over to a woman with frizzy hair fiddling with a device. He was pretty certain he had never met her before, a woman like that left an impression that he would have definatly remembered, but it was quite clear she had strong connections to the doctor. "Hey" He said a little arkwardly at first, "May I help?" He guestured to the device, I'm quite good with things like that, "What are you trying to do?"

 

River turned around to see a teenage boy, no, a young adult offering to help. "Well, when the future Cat came and knocked present Cat unconscious the second TARDIS, the TARDIS I drove, disappeared. Future Cat said something about how she had to do it so we could figure 'it' out. The only thing, from what I can see, that has changed is that the TARDIS disappeared. So my theory is that if we can track the TARDIS then we might be able to get one step closer to finding out what is going on."

Kathy pricked her ears up and wondered over, easger to be of assistance. "I can help with tracking but I need something from that TARDIS or some way of connecting the TARDIS with my device." She held up her weird looking, home made device that she had used to lock onto this universe. It sparked and began to smoke. "Oh, that's not supposed to happen. It could have been the energy of travelling through the void. Luke, was it? Would you like to help me get this working again?"

"It won't work- it draws power from our universe of which there is none at the moment. You are going to have to adapt all Time Lord technology from our universe if you want it to work here." John said from across the room.

"Alright then, Luke- want to help me make this work again?"

 

Carrie sighed as she heard River explain. " Is there anything I can do to help out?" offered Carrie

 

Cat heard the commotion from within the TARDIS and put the fez on top of its light, teleporting down outside the door.

"Is there anything I can do? Besides knocking myself out of course."

 

Suddenly they were surrounded by mobile people who were willing to help. "Well, could someone get something from that TARDISes Doctor like the key or something. I persume it'll either be the Tenth or Ninth regeneration. If I can get that then I can track it down. Carrie, could you find me a quantum dimentional cube? Jack will probably know where to find one. Luke, could you locate some tools or something and River, could you find the USB lead that links the TARDIS to a USB device?" Kathy demanded hoping that she could fix her technology.

"Need me to do anything boss?" Rose laughed as she walked up to her daughter "I'm not really doing much."

"Mum, for the moment I want you to stand there and look pretty but stand close, I may need you to hold stuff down." Rose nodded in compliance.

River wondered off to find the cable knowing exactly where it was, really, you'd think the Doctor would put it somewhere normal, it's not like he'll run out of space. No, he had to put it under the sink... of course.

 

"Quantum dimensional cube? No problem!," said Carrie, linking her arm with Jack's. "C'mon help me find one-this is your base after all," said Carrie smiling brightly.

 

Cat walked inside and searched through her jacket pockets. As she took her right hand out, she held what looked like an ordinary key.

"Ah yeah, the good old TARDIS key. It's not like I need one, but it's nice to feel like an 'honorary' companion."

She gave it to Kathy and walked behind her, curious about how she would try and track the TARDISes.

As Carrie linked her arm with his, Jack smiled.

"Well, you're damn right about that."

He walked over towards a certain room and walked inside. There were three walls full of alien tech inside and he reached up to grab something about the size of a Rubick's Cube. He headed back out and tossed it into Carrie's hands.

"Go on, I'll see if I can do something through the Torchwood mainframe."

 

Luke listened carfully to River's explanation, nodding to show he understood. But when Kathy asked him to help, his face lit up, he really enjoyed the feeling of actually being able to help. "With pleasure" He said with a grin, taking the device. It did cross his mind that he was possibly being a bit overconfident by dismissing John's arguements like that and it might make him look like a fool if he couldn't do it. However, he didn't let that bother him and concentrated on fixing the device.

The device itself was different to anything Luke had seen before but he quickly familiarised himself with it, the principles it worked on weren't hard to grasp. He flipped it over, took off the back and examined it, making sense of the jumble of wires and technology. After a brief pause he began to quickly mess around with the wiring, his hand a blur as he worked quickly. His face was a picture of concentration and he was hardly aware of anything going on around him. After pausing again to check over his work, he returned the back to it's place and turned it back over. He pressed two buttons before going to turn it on. No responce. His brow creased a little. Had he been wrong? He suddenly hit the machine on the side and pressed the on button. It all lit up and relief was visible on Luke's face. He'd been worried for a moment there that he'd done it wrong. With a smile on his face he offered it back to Kathy, "Here. It should be working fine now." It felt really good to say that, especcially when John had been saying it couldn't be done before.

 

Carrie smiled slightly as she caught the cube. "Don't blow anything up without me," She said, leaving the room and heading back towards the others.

" Kay," said Carrie holding up the cube. "I got the Quantum dimensional cube thingy,"

 

Kathy nodded whilst taking back her device off of Luke. "Thank you all very much." River returned holding a human yellow cable, it seemed totally out of place in the TARDIS with all its foreign technology but it was what Kathy needed. "Excellent!" She bounced over to her and took the cable from her hand. "Right, so I need to attach this to... this." She plugged the cable into some place underneath the TARDIS console and the other end into her device. "Ahh! Thank you Carrie, just what I needed." She took this cube which seemed like it was made of many little cubes but it glowed algihtly with a magnificant blue glare. "Ahh yes, Mum- could you find me a magn-"

"Got one, I thought you'd need one." John bounded out from the TARDIS corridor holding a stereotypical red and silver horseshoe magnet.

"Never mind. Thank you father!" She grabbed the magnet and put it close to the cube, it began to rattle and shake before opening to reveal a small cube that was glowing brightly- the source of its glare. Kathy took this out and picked up her device whilst taking off its back. she removed somethnig that looked similar to the small cube but without a glow and, fiddling with a few of the wires, wrapped a few around the cube and neatly placed it in the center. "Alright, now I need the key... and that goes... there..." She attached it to the cube which had a strange magnetic attraction that only affected certain objects. "FABULOUS!" She yelled whilst getting back on her feet. "Now, it has to charge for about 1 minute and we should be set to track this TARDIS. Mum, could you please hold the device for just a moment? I need to go check on something." Rose took the device as Kathy ran off out of the TARDIS.

"Where is she going now?" John wondered over the his wife and inspected his daughters et al handiwork. "That was very impressive Luke, you really are a genius... and I don't often get to say that."

Kathy returned shortly afterward but now donning a fireproof looking glove. "Is it charged?" John nodded. "Good, then let's get to work!"

"What is the glove for?" Rose quizzically inquired.

"Quantum dimensional cubes are incredibly difficult to stabilise when they are first used so it will leak magnetic radiation and this glove will protect me. But don't worry- it only happens the first time you use each cube, its like, they need breaking in." She smiled while taking back the device. Kathy pressed a button on the side and then typed in some code and repressed the side button. "The other TARDIS is..." Aa pause while the device tracked it down. ".... in vegas? What? That's a bit random... anyone fancy a trip to Vegas?" She looked around eagerly.


OOC: I totalyl just thought of the first place off the top of my head xD It is totally random. Also, I'm not 100% sure what they'll find.

 

Carrie starred at Rose's daughter, mouth wide open. "Holy Crap... Dang Rose...," Carrie said, nudging her friend. "Your daughter's a freaking genius..."
