Insert Timey-Wimey Neutron Flow of Coolness Here {Doctor Who RP}

Cat was able to hear everyone around her, though everything was fuzzy and muffled. When Rory had gone over to check her pulse, she tried to open her eyes; she was exhausted, but that didn't mean she'd be sitting this out. As she managed to wake up, she groaned.

"Uuuuuugh. God, my neck is killing me."

She rubbed it where it hurt and sat up slowly.

"So,what did I miss?"

 

John turned around briskly on his heel, "Riiiiiiight... that wasn't meant to happen. Hi! I'm John, John Tyler and I'm you, well, part of you, well..." he sighed "Let's just say I'm the life you always wanted but could nefver have."

"Dad!" Kathy let Rory take care of Cat, she didn't want to get in the way, he obviously knew what he was doing. "She told me she absorbed the soul of the TARDIS a while back but Mum told me that a similar thing had happened to her once and she nearly burnt out and it caused you to regenerate. How can this power be alive in this human girl?"

John turned to his daughter, "Well, it's slightly different but she's bursting with energy, it releases itself regularly through her teleportation."

"Ahh! So Mum absorbed the Time Vortex and Cat took in the soul of the TARDIS. The outlet is her bouncing around then?"

John nodded. "I think she's alright, don't worry about her too much- she has had it for a while." He looked down to the now awakening Cat, his old friend, and smiled his toothy smith. "Welcome back."

River got into view of the screen. "We're coming, so make sure to stay out the way of where we materialise. The driver of this machine isn't always reliable." She smiled.



OOC: I hope this is an alright explanation Cat for your character being able to survive :3 Otherwise I can edit.

{Well it's alright, but technically she absorbed the soul of the TARDIS. The time vortex doesn't have much to do with it, though I like your idea of her bouncing through time being an outlet for the energy. Also, I think you got your character colors mixed up a bit.}

Ten was a bit confused by this... clone(?) of his. He quickly set the thought aside as he saw them taking care of Cat. When he saw her begin to awake, he smiled his toothy smile and was hurriedly pushed-well, sort of shoved- out of the way by River. He chuckled at her comment and stepped away from the console, his hands in his pockets.

She looked up at him to see that smile of his; that was one of her earliest memories of him. She smiled back, still rubbing her neck.

"Thanks."

She got up slowly, still feeling dizzy, and walked over to the monitor.

"So, you all finally decided to head over?"

She walked back to Kathy and her father and smiled.

"Be right back."

She appeared behind the TARDIS, out of everyone's sight. The moment she had arrived, her energy had come back to her; one of the benefits of her "condition" was that the TARDIS could either drain or refuel her.

(Normally, if she doesn't teleport anywhere in a month, she'll randomly end up somewhere; the TARDIS drains that excess energy when she's near it, leaving just enough for her to get around freely. It can also lend her energy when she needs it, but that doesn't mean that it can heal wounds or anything. It's almost like taking an energy drink.)

She made sure of where it was going to land and headed right back to her time, afraid of any more paradoxes like that last one.

She reappeared a second after she had left. Her position hadn't changed, but she walked back around to the screen.

"No need to worry about landing her. I've got a pretty good idea of where you're landing."

She chuckled softly to herself and looked back at everyone else.

"Alright, nobody has to move. With any luck, they'll end up right about there."

She pointed to a spot behind Rory, Kathy and John and put her hand pack into her jacket pocket.

 

"Oh hey Rory... I forgot all about you again..." smiled Carrie sheepishly as she moved out of his way. She sighed in relief when Cat was okay and chuckled to herself when her brother looked confused about John. Don't worry Bro... You'll understand in the future Carrie thought to herself. "So Jack. Luke," said Carrie "What were you two up to before all these... total paradoxes happened?"

 

Luke had been overwhelmed be the events, he could barely believe his eyes. Even his quick mind had been having trouble keeping up with the events, he expected he was missing some key fact and wasn't sure what it was. Luckily the others seemed to have some grasp of the situation and he was left feeling a little useless but contented himself to observing every little detail of what was going on. That being so Carrie's question took him completely by suprise.

"Huh, what?" He rubbed the back of his neck as he thought, "Well, I've been at Oxford University studying, I went there a year early due to doing my A-levels in a year. Alien acivity is really low there but I've been still helping out mum and the guys via webcam. K-9's not a bad companion at uni either." He added in the metalic dog that was staying with him, wondering if that would get a reaction. "But I'd just returned home to see mum, Sarah-Jane, and had gone up to the attic where all the alien stuff is when I appeared here. So yeah, a bit boring, it feels good to be back in on the action." He smiled, feeling a little bit arkward now.

 

Jack looked over at Carrie, a bit surprised by her sudden question.

"Well, I've just been doing the same thing. Between tracking down alien threats and making sure that U.N.I.T. doesn't screw things up, my schedule is decent."

He smiled and chuckled to himself, trying to shut other events out of his mind.

 

River stepped ot of the TARDIS that had just appeared where Cat had said. "Well, I hope I haven't missed anything."

Kathy walked over to this woman, her hair wild with curls, it was so lively. "So, who are you? And was that you driving the other TARDIS?"

John bounded up to the TARDIS and eagerly stepped inside. Too long. It had been far too long for this part Time Lord since he had been with his beloved. The desktop theme had changed and it was busy with colours and lights and SPACE! So much space! He gaping look slowly spread into a childish smile, he needed his TARDIS back.

"I've told you, I'm Dr. River Song."

"Very nice to meet you River but how can you fly-"

"Were you not listening when I explained it to the young Doctor?" Kathy shook her head, unsure of what she was on about. "Well, let's just say I was concieved on the TARDIS, I don't like the think about it." She shook her head to get the images out of her mind.

Kathy smiled, "I must take a look." To that she followed her father like a lamb to the slaughter. She stood beside him, gaping at the wonder surrounding them. "Well, it's definitely bigger on the inside. I'm gonig to explore, don't mind me!" To that she bounced off, a skip in her step.

 

Cat smiled, having seen that her prediction was right. She walked closer to the TARDIS and let Kathy and River talk. After she and John had stepped inside, she decided to go inside herself.

When Ten saw that the TARDIS had landed, he walked closer to the door. When he saw his double and his daughter pass, he stepped out of the way to let them through. Once that was done, he reached the door and smiled that same toothy smile again.

"Well, it took you all long enough."

She stepped inside, glad that he was alright.

"You could've just hopped on board, you know."

She returned his smile.

"I know."

She looked around, seeing this new theme. This would've seemed surreal, had it not been for all of the paradoxes and mysteries.

"Do you mind if I take a look myself?"

"Don't ask me."

He put his hands up and pointed to his next regeneration.

"Well, I doubt that you two would have different opinions on the matter. Then again, there's no telling what we should expect now."

He laughed.

"Just... stay where you can hear me."

She scoffed and began to walk towards the hall.

"I'm not your daughter, I don't have to do what you tell me to."

She said it jokingly and knew that he had a point; should anything else come up, she needed to be where people could call for her.

 

"Wow your in college? It seems like yesterday since I saw you on that webcam-even though it's been forever," said Carrie, smiling slightly at Luke. " I was doing basically the normal thing too," said Carrie nodding towards Jack. "Well if you can call travling with the Doctor normal which is pretty normal for me..."

When the TARDIS arrived and River steeped out, Carrie waved to her and smiled. It was always cool to see Rory and Amy's daughter. She left Luke and Jack and headed into the TARDIS, following Cat. She heard her say "I'm not your daughter, I don't have to do what you tell me to" and Carrie couldn't help but laugh-loudly. "Ah Cat. Your like his daughter just like I'm like his sister," Carrie said with a smile. She turned towards her brother and smirked "Hey Bro. Sup?" She said lightheartedly.

 

Cat heard that from where she was and, still walking, threw her pointer finger into the air.

"No I'm not, Carrie!"

Ten chuckled at her response and smiled in Carrie's direction.

"Carrie! God, you look so old. Keep this up, and you'll become my older sister in no time."

He walked up beside her, still smiling.

 

"Oh yes you are," Carrie mumbled, hoping Cat wouldn't hear her,but still smirking anyway. "You're calling me old? A least I'm not a nine hundred and something year old! And I'm years past your timeline. Right now I should be travling with this one," She said sticking out her tongue and pointing towards his next incarnation.

 

Having been silent yet again until now, Nine commented again.
"Well I liked the fez." he said plainly, breaking the awkward nothingness that seemed to be happening (in his eyes anyway. He was being somewhat selective with what got his attention).
"Has anyone got any bananas? I like bananas. Bananas are good."

The Master stared blankly at this young girl -- who he distinctly recognised as non-human, despite her appearance -- as she greeted him. She simply said 'hello', as if he was just the most normal person she'd ever met.
"...hi?" he said, a little confused, sitting down on the desk in the centre of the room, holding both hands in front of him as though he was a schoolboy.
"Yeah, I kinda crashed a time machine through the roof of parliament. It's just a thing I do sometimes, no big deal." he said.
Truth be told... he almost liked how normal she was regarding him. He wasn't exactly used to that. Being insane -- or perhaps more sane than anybody else? -- tended to have that effect.
"Of course, it's a little totalled right now, what with having just ripped a little whole in the fabric of the universe, but meh, these things happen."

 

After seeing Rory steal the Doctor's Fez and hearing The Doctor Whine about it, Carrie nearly fell to the floor laughing. "This Bro. Is how children you will be in your future," Carrie said shaking her head. "So leave me out of the Fez fight. I'm neutral. I'm Switzerland," Carrie said to Rory and the Doctor

 

The girl laughed as he explained what had happened, "Really? That sounds like fun, I'll have to try doing that someday." She just loved how they were talking about this as if it was completely normal, this was the most exciting thing that had happened to her in decades. She was loving it.

"Do you mind if I have a look?" She said as she skipped over to the broken time machine. The draw of it was just too much, especially for an energy being like herself. It was an actual time machine, you didn't come across those every day. This was the most advanced technology, other than the stuff she owned, that she'd seen in a long time. Even in it's broken state it was quite impressive. She reached out to it with her mind, trying to make some connection to it or get some more grasp of it. It was a little too broken and complex to succeed but various things did light up as she did so. She knew she might be able to posssibly fix it and if she couldn't no-one could, but it would take her time. It would not be an easy task. However the distinctive technology...she thought all these had been destroyed almost a thousand years ago and to see one, it was amazing.

Without warning she suddenly span round and grinned at the mysterious man, "You're wierd, I like you" She said simply before giggling and turning back to look more at the machine.

Luke watched everything with a bemused look on his face, if nothing else this was certainly amusing. When the Doctor was involved, it was basically guarenteed that things would get interesting. You could never be bored around him. Luke didn't mind not being in the middle of this chaos, the others knew the various doctors better than him and so he could wait to be introduced later.

Looking around he saw the girl who had been standing next to him and realised his earlier assumption may have been wrong. He shook his head, smiling and walked over to her. "You're new to all this, aren't you? I wouldn't worry, you'll get used to it soon enough, it's usually quite mind boggling when the Doctor is involved. Though I must admit, this time it's a bit more mad than usual. Give it time and things will be explained." He laughed, still watching the doctors and everyone mess around.

 

Ten laughed at all the commotion.

"Well, I don't mind the fez. It's not bad on me if I do say so myself."

He turned to Nine and smiled at his query about the bananas.

"Ah yeah. D'you just want them plain or would you like a banana daiquiri? Because I know how to make a banana daiquiri."

Cat was directly underneath the console. When Rory had come by, she couldn't resist joining in the fun. Luckily, nobody had come down yet, so she decided to take action.

...

She reappeared right behind Eleven. While Ten and Nine were distracted with their talk of bananas, she turned back to Rory and put her finger to her lips. She snatched the fez from atop Eleven's head and teleported back behind Jack. As she inspected the fez, she looked at him and spoke in a playful tone.

"How did you get started wearing fezzes anyway? You've never really been a hat person, and I don't see how you could bear to have this on your head."

She smiled in his direction, knowing he would be cross at her for that.

 

"I like the sound of that!" Nine said, before getting a confused look on his face. "Or do I? I can't remember if I like alcohol like this. Do I like the sound of that?"
To any other it might sound strange that he was asking somebody else if he liked what was being offered, but seeing as this was a future incarnation of himself, one of ten alternate version of the same man, wandering around in the same time, it was slightly less odd.

Well, for the Doctor at least.

"Well it was a little fun, yeah." the Master said, mimicing how he though the Tenth incarnation of his Doctor would have said it. "Still, there was the time I temporarily made the entire human race me. You wouldn't believe how easily you can take orders from yourself. Messy though, we all had the same routines. Have you ever seen the entire population of a country queueing for one bathroom?"
He was barely even paying attention to what he was saying at this point. Was this what it was like to have company? He could see why the Doctor enjoyed it so much. But travelling with a human, no, he could never do that, they were too weak, too fragile. This girl, however, was far more than that.
And then his TARDIS seemed to respond to her entering it.
"Now that's cool." he said simply, following up behind her, watching what she was doing. "It's bigger on the inside, you know. So many gadgets and whatnot. Strange really, it has about thirty different things to press, and it only takes the one you're supposed to press before it breaks."

 

"What is it with myself and bananas?" One muttered to himself, taking a seat. Perhaps he was the youngest of the Doctors, but he was still an old man.

 

"Well, the way you'll make them is different from a normal daiquiri. They're barely alcoholic!"

He smiled and thought about tying his tie into a headband like he had when he first invented it. He walked over to the hall and gestured for Nine to follow him.

"With any luck, the layout will be easy enough to figure out. The kitchen should be somewhere on the left... or was it on the right.?"

He was mumbling to himself at this point and decided to start trying doors.
