This is my first sprite tag~ I used a tutorial and it's 34 layers. I made it for this week's SotW, though I don't know which one to enter. :3 It's the Black Dragon from Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete V1 - Textless V2 - Text CnC would be nice
The colors are nice, the sprite is worked nicely with the sig. The text is a nono however. Try to add more effects to it, some decent sharp brushes would to the trick.
The border and text should go. A little hinmt about text: Make it feel like it's at home in the tag. Make it fit comfortably with all the effects, and make it still readable. The neg space cuts REALLY weird. If you ar egoing to make the black like that, brush with a soft brush in black, and lower opacity, to give it a deeper and more shadowy feel.
Teh colors are very purty, yes. This is pretty nice work, the text and border seem to ruin it all. Seems too 'out-there', isn't fitting in so well with the rest of it. You just remove that and it's pretty awesome.
