"Mmmhmm"she said "Yep just plating it up now."

 

Molli clicked her tongue and pulled her knees up to her chest. This was her normal position. She crossed her arms over her knees and rested her chin on her arms. Avoiding eye contact with anyone. Molli contemplated on whether to make conversation with someone or not. Molli thought to just keep to herself for the time being and quietly hummed her favorite song in her head.

"Molli right?"Eva asked her"Do you want something to eat?"

 

Molli cringed at the thought. She looked down and thought for a moment. 'Don't be rude, Molli.' She thought. "Sure. That would be nice." Molli said in her most nicest tone. Although she did not eat hardly, she didn't want to be rude or anything, so she just agreed to eating.

 

Eva smiled and went back to the kitchen and starting getting the plate ready

 

"I'll make a plate for Mathis, he would enjoy this. God knows when was the last time we ate a meal this decent before." Efstasia chuckled and grabbed a plate to make some for her carrier friend who tend to stay away from everyone, especially from who were clean from infections.

The male had his eyes closed and leaning against the wall. He had went to sleep knowing it was safer to sleep during the day then sleeping at night when he had to be on guard from any lurking infecties.

"here." Efstasia said stepping into the dark room. "I got this for you to eat." she said and smiled.

The dark haired male looked at the curly haired brunette and nodded. "Thank you." he said as she placed it in his hands. He still didnt understand her kindness. Was it that she was naive? her sense of rightness?

"No prob, I'm going to head back to eat with everyone else and see what they'll do now. I'll come back later to relax so your not alone."

"No need for that." he said.

"Don't say that. you're still a person too." she said and turned to walk out. "See you later." and she walked out back downstairs to get her own food. "Smells great Eva!" She said and chopped into it. It felt good to eat something warm and not granola bars.

 

Molli barely touched her food, but occasionally ate a small piece. It wasnt that it was bad, it was actually delicious, but she didn't feel the need to eat. "This tastes delicious Eva." Molli quietly complimented, as to not have her think that she hated her cooking. It was nice enought that she even shared it to people she hardly knew.

 

"This is delicious." Zeke said as he chow down on his food. Considering how long it been since he'd had a descent meal he gladly ate what was on his plate.

 

Lewis looked up at the steel walls being put up. "When they come, they will be happyto know I have the Infecteds in captivity. Even a cross infected Hulk could not break through these walls." Lewis herd the last few bolts being put in. "That's enough!" Lewis yelled at the computerised system.

 

Molli looked around the room at everyone. "I found something today." She whispered. Before night falls, she thought it was best to be under a decent lock and well furnished room. Where everyone had a bed to sleep in, running water, and working appliances. "My mom used to work here and there was a secret room she had told me about." Molli hesitated. "Well, before I ran away, a while after she had perished, I took that key from her jewlery box." Molli went into her backpack and pulled out the etiquette key. "It unlocks room 326. The biggest and high-class room in the hotel. I checked it out and it is big enough for all of us, has running water and working appliances. It had a well decent lock for nighttime and everythin is well kept and prestine." ​Molli looked down and fumbled with the key in her hand.

 

"Really?"she said raising an eyebrow

 

"Running water and working appliances does sound nice." Efstasia said. "But how long are you guys going to be staying here? I mean you guys aren't planning on just being stuck to the city? There has to be some radio signals of some sort of salvation." The Greek woman said before taking another bite of food. "Its only a matter of time before the cross infected follow their instincts here."

 

Eva shook her head "Though we are high up and would be able to see an attack staying here is not a smart idea."

"Ive been fine for the month I've been here"Rhys said

 

"Jazzy, give the Infecteds double there rations and lock them in tight." Lewis said "Yes sir." The automated woman's voic came over the hall. "And lock the door on my way out." he walked out the door and headed twards he appartment

 

Molli was nerous again, like maybe this wasn't a good idea. "I just told you I found it. It doesn't matter if you want to go there or not." Molli mumbled, sticking the ket back into her backpack.

 

Efstasia frowned and looked to Molli the moment she placed the key away. "I'm not striking down your idea. I would love to go take a bath, you have no idea when it was the last time I took a decent one." She smiled a little hoping to cheer up the girl.

"What Efstasia is trying to say is that if you guys are going to survive you can't just huddle here for the rest of your lives." Mathis entered through the door, he was listening at the door way for a while at the conversation at hand. "When we were traveling here we found a radio broadcast. we thought it was coming from here but the signal disappeared when we entered the city." The male placed his dish on the counter and turned to leave again, but he stopped and looked at the people on the table. "If you are going to cure the world you all better get some place safer then a room. No matter the luxury." The dark haired male walked out the room.


Efstasia's eyes were wide and her jaw dropped. She had never seen Mathis before that dead serious, sure he always seemed serious but to be that cold and blunt about everything. "uuuh, w-well you have to excuse Mathis he just...uh..." she scratched the back of her head. He did have a point but it was both their own opinions, not something she would put on anyone else... She looked to Molli.

 

Approximately 1:17 pm

"Hello, how are you all?" Lewis steped onto the patio of the hotel. "How are you all?"

 

"I've been better myself"Rhys muttered,the pills he had taken had worn off and he was loathe to take more,they made him drowsy and if they were going on the move,the last thing they needed was a sleepy hungover teenager. Though Rhys thought that since every little sound was amplified in his thumping head he was more than likely to try and claw someones face off...he could only hope they met some infected to take his anger out on.

 

Efstasia sighed and placed her dish in the sink. "I'll help you with washing dishes, Eva, since you made breakfast." SHe smiled and washed both hers and Mathis's plate and fork.


Before Mathis could go back to his little dark corner her heard a voice calling out. "Hmph?" walking toward the voice, and following the clean scent, he saw that doctor dude. Mathis said nothing to the man, he just opened the door for the man to enter. "Close it behind you when you come in." was all the dark haired man said before returning to the sofa he laid out on. It was better then the grass or trees.

 

Eva smiled at her "Thank you"she said then looked at the boy "Your friend...is very serious about all this isnt he? I mean everyone is serious...but he seems more than most."
