"Im Eva"she smiled

Rhys came into the kitchen and opened the fridge pulling a bottle of water out he felt it and slammed th door shut again "Fridge is broken...of course its broke.....it was always going to f*cking break!"he said kicking it sharply


"Rhys!" Eva said sharply "Stop it...its not helping...we'll...just have to go to that guys place."

 

Molli heard the commotion in the kitchen and slightly lifted her head up. Rhys had awoken and was kicking the fridge. 'What the heck?' Molli thought. 'Maybe a hangover. He was drinking yesterday.' Molli put her head back down, not wanting to interupt, and closed her eyes. She wasn't falling asleep, but she was merely thinking. Thinking of a way out. Thinking of what shr would donwith her life when the infection stopped. Thinking about how long she would survive, if the infection never went away. 'What would I do?' Molli thought.
Shaking the images out of her head, Molli got up and went towards the bathroom. She looked at her reflection in the mirror. She was certainly a lot more paler, but her black hair was still silky and her green eyes were still radiant in color. She closed the door and changed into black skinny jeans and a blood red long sleeved V-cut shirt. She quickly stuffed her arms warmers into her bag and continued sitting on the couch.

 

Efstasia looked at Rhys and saw how he came in and was throwing a tantrum... "um cranky much?" it didnt sound mean it just sounded as if she was asking if he was okay.
"The last thing we need is people getting angry for tribal things like this. We live in a lifestyle wgere broken fridges are the least of our,worries. You shouldnt get mad because of that.." this came from the male who just entered.
"Mathis..." said the female looking at the male who kept his distance.

 

"Im not cranky...Im just-"

"Hungover and being a brat"Eva said "Stop it...you'll scare people."

 

"Guess we do have a reason to call that guy after all." Zeke said.

 

Mathis scoffed slightly at the last thing the female said. Him? Scary? He has seen far worse horrors to make a regular man want to cringe and kill them selves.
"Mathis," said the voice of Efstasia. The 19 year old looked down to the 23 year old. She was older then him but she still had that bit of innocence that made her a child.
The dark haired man groaned.
"fine." he said and she smiled.
Efstasia looked back to Rhys. "lets get you some,Tylenol. I have some in the kit."

 

"Thanks"he said smiling weakly

Eva rolled her eyes

 

Molli stood up and went to the front door. Leading to the Hotel hallway. Trying to make sure no one would notice her leaving, she slowly shut the door. Breathing a sigh of relief when no one had saw her, she started down the hallway to the staircase leading to the top floor of the building. She remembered how her mother used to work here and said there was a secret room on the top floor. Before Molli had ran away from home, she made sure to grab the key in her mothers jewlery box. Now, gripping the key innher hand, Molli reached the room number 326. Molli slid the key into the lock and took a huge breath. The lock clicked and the door creaked as Molli opened the door, sliding in.
The room was nice. Very clean and bright from the suns rays. It smelled like lavender, and it was cool, not hot. As Molli inspected more, she noticed 3 seperate rooms. Enough room for everyone. Very well kept. The bathroom had running water and so did the kitchen. Molli beamed at her discoveries. All she had to do was go get groceries. Everything worked. And it was perfect.
Now, all she had to do was surprise them.

 

Efstasia nodded and went through the doorway. "this way." She said and walked off to her bag pulling out a gun, bullets and water bottles with a granola bar. "here." She said handing him the little bottle of pill. "take two and it should have an effect if not come to me and I'll give you something stronger." Efstasia, by the looks of it had a drug store.

 

"Thanks"he said again taking the pills

 

"No problem. But I do want to say sometging... don't get so mad, okay." She smiled softly. "if you get mad then others will too and the last thing we need is to have everyone turn against each other. Especially during this time of chaos." Efstasia's tone was wise, guess she was finally growing up.

 

"Ah..yeah I know...its just my tempers never been the best and its been getting...worse in the last few weeks...the fridge was the last straw I guess."

 

Lewis awoke with a start. "Another dream." His mind flashed back to the moment when his wife and child were murderer.
The scene is a bright morning on a peaceful day.
"Daddy, daddy! Will you teach us today daddy?" The voice of her daughter
"Yeah dad! Teach us please!" His son, then an image of his daughter along with an image of her brother appeared right there

"He he he, alright kids, why not?" Lewis's own voice came over, all he could see was the background of where they were standing.
(the scene cuts out for a bit) "Oh yeah!" His son, he had just mastered a new attack technique. "Like this daddy?" His daughter was trying to learn how to punch right. "Wow Sunny, your kicks are excellent, but when you punch, it doesn't reflect that in your punches. Oh well, you'll get better!" As soon as he said that though, the warning sirens sounded...
The trance broke when the pain of the memory became too much.

 

Molli opened the door quickly and quietly, hoping nobody noticed her absence. There they were. Right there by that ancient lookin girl. Molli sighed and continued to the couch sitting down. 'Maybe, they didn't see me walk in. Maybe they were too busy talking amongst each other to even know that I walked in.' Molli thought. She tried to hide her smile at her discovery and looked down to hide the smile she was not strong enough to hold back.

 

Efstasia nodded. "understandable. Its hard, sure, but even more reason to get somewhere safe." She said and looked to the girl. Young. was she there before? Efstasia thought. "Hey, how's the wrist?" The brunette asked.

 

Molli twisted her wrist around, cracking it a few times. "Well, it seems to be doing ok. I mean-it doesn't hurt or anything." Molli looked at the ancient looking girl. She has seen her somewhere, but can't put a finger on it. Molli refrained from smiling and looked at the girl. "And you are. . . ?"​ Molli asked.

 

"Efstasia Agelis." The 23 year old said with a smile. "I'm a breeder from Florida, but I'm Greek. We met that day when you got hurt. My Carrier, Mathis and I followed your scent and thats how we found out about all you." She had a friendly smile as she told the younger female.

 

Molli let out a small friendly smile in return. "Well then, it is nice to officially meet you, Efstasia." Molli looked down again and tapped her Converse high tops softly. 'So, as long as they don't try to harm me or anyone, I think I will be just fine.' Molli thought, narrowing her eyes to the ground. She has never encountered such a tame Breeder. All the Breeders she had encountered were put to death. Easily trapping them and setting them in fire. Gasoline and matches will do. Or rubbing alcohol and a lighter. Or hairspray and a long lighter. Anyway to kill them will do. Molli was shocked-maybe a bit stunned, or surprised-as to how this particular Breeder was acting. Was it in act? Or was this her true personality? Molli also thought of the Carrier. Mathis was it? She never formally introduced herself-or even meet him for that matter-personally. How would she trust them? What if they lose control? What if this was all a trap to trick them and infect them?
All of these questions Molli needed to have answered. And she was bound to figure them out. But for now, she will just relax and see ehat happens next.

"nice to officially meet you too Molli." Efstasia said and then something struck her attention. Where was Mathis anyway? Probably in some far off section of the hotel staying away from everybody. "Well I know Eva's making some food so I'm off to go get some." She said and waved bye to Molli and Rhy's before reentering the kitchen again. "you almost done there Eva?"
