"Well, that's what I meant." Lewis looked at the Infected man, his eyes showing slight pity, but more rage than anything

 

"Dont you dare think about hurting him"Eva said

 

"Never. Although I have a distaste for the infected, It is the virus I hate more than anything.

 

"We have to move."Rhysmuttered

 

Molli kept her head down. she remembered Rhys mentioning him once. And how it was rather a sensitive topic. Molli just crossed her arms to keep at least slightly warm and refused to make eye contact with any body.

 

Rhys slowly started inch his way forward,moving away from the car and moving slowly,he turned back to give his sister a reasurring smile when something metal was launched across the street,missing him by inches,by his brother. Little did Rhys know,he'd stayed in the cross infected line of sight too long,Rhys looked up in shock as his brother was suddenly running at him.

Eoughan made a grab for his brother,who scuttled backwards away from him with a yell,while his sister started screaming at him to stop it,he froze for a second,and stared at his brother's panic striken face then at his sister,he twisted away slightly and thumped himself against the car next to him,there he wiggled and failed about,being cross infected he had more control,but this was the price,pain.

 

Molli stood in the street. Her eyes wide and her breath quick. She tried to not make this a bigger scene than ehat already was. Molli saw the two boys faces. Startled, paniced. Maybe even shocked. Molli tried to calm her breath. She couldn't bare seeing anybody getting hurt. Especially since they were brothers. Molli looked over at Eva who was freaking out over the incident. Then she quickly looke away and onto the black street. Although Mollis' thoughts were bursting with action, her body and movement were as still as stone.

 

Eoughan reched loudly,blood spilling from his mouth and he twisted in an unatural way again,all the while making enough noise to alert anyone or anything near by,the pain of resting to kill was too much and he didnt know how much more he could take


Eva hurried over to Rhys and hauled him to his feet,tugging him away from their older brother,tears pouring down her face

 

Lewis hit the Cross infected with the blunt side of the sword, not too hard, but hard enough to knock out even the hardest headed creature, and even if it hadn't Knocked it out, would leave it stunned long enough to get the other two to a safe place. Then he grabbed the two and ran. "It's not safe here any more! The infected will come in hoards, and I cannot protect a huge group like this all by my self. We must leave now!"

 

Rhys stared backat his brother,eyes wide and mouth open,he had to help him somehow

 

"He is after us, you may care for him, but he cannot care as much for you for long. He will resist the urge to kill for as long as he can, but eventually he will give in to his cannibalistic requirements." Lewis said.

 

"Rhys."Eva choked out "Hes right...we have to go."

 

Lewis's knees buckled under the weight of the other two, but he kept going. He eventually made it back to the group, and said. "We have to go, We got infected in our tail and we cannot survive Large numbers with so many others. If you all knew hpw to fight and had weapons, I would not worry, but you do not. We have to get to safety now!" he was antsy, but not scared.

 

"I dont want to fight my brother though."

 

"We won't unless it comes to no other option." Lewis looked into Rhys eyes. "I will not be like the monsters that destroyed my family. I will not be that monster. We must go, I will hold them off, you all get going."

 

"Lets go Rhys!"Eva said tugging his hand

 

Molli stood by Rhys and Eva, not too close, but close enough to not be left behind. She kept quiet. Obviously everyone was on edge and she didn't want to cause an unneccesary stir amongst the small group of theirs. 'Maybe we should go.' Molli thought, pulling her black sleeve over her clenched fist and bringing it up to her mouth.

 

Eva turned quickly and moved off down the street all but dragging her younger brother with her,who was staring back at his brother,who was still writhing on the ground,thrashing about
