Infected

Infections and virius pass on to others,they always have. But there have always been those who are Immune to it.

There are very few people who are Immune in this case. In the year of 2019 and in an attempt to cure Dementia, scientists used animals to test their medication on. These animals,once tame and loyal soon forgot who their masters were a turned,and attacked. Anyone bitten was Immediately infected with this virius and their mind seemed to go back to primative and they went on the rampage. When the Government found out they locked all the subjects in the test facility and had it destoryed,not before getting the remaining surviour out. After the facility was destoryed the project was shut down and no one spoke of the incident again. It was soon forgotten.
Untill two years later when the woman who had survived had an ecounter with her lover and she bit him,he became infected and killed her. Scientists discovered that the woman was a carrier and could have passed it on to any other lovers that she'd had,making them carriers aslo. The Country went into red alert and The Government ordered a Lock down. No one was allowed in or out.
Three years have passed since the Lock down-which failed as the virius got out and travelled over seas. The Governemnt are no longer of any help and the infected people run rampent throughout the streets. Immune people are fewer and a year before the Government dissappeared the ordered the ProCreation Act, meaning Immune people had the choice to help carry on the Human race,But a few months into it the Government decided who was to do this by screening their genes to see who had the most chance. But this is no place to bring a child into and with no army to help it looks up to the civilians to try and restore the world to what it once was.

Immune-
There are Two types of Immune People, Breeders and Donors.
Breeders: These people were choosen by the Government to carry on the human species,they are or were highly protected in a top rate facitlity near the water,but that building was destoryed nearly two years ago. It is very rare to find a breeder who chose their mate by their own. Breeders have a strong sense of what they are doing is right and will help return the world to normal in the Long Run.

Donors: These people are highly immune to the virius and as a result their blood may be the cure that everyone needs. Donors are very hard to find as the infected people seem to have a keen sense of smell and like to get after them for their meals. Donors only travel during the day time as they feel it is safest for them.

Carriers-

Carriers: These are the Lucky or Unlcuky people who have got the virius in their blood but it does not affect them,however they are extremely dangerous as they can infect others. They are able to move around freely as their blood smells unclean to the infected people, Some will help the Immune people but others will not as they do not like the way they are treated.

Infected-

There are two types of Infected people.

Cross Infected: These people were carriers,but they have been bitten multipultimes but still retain the ability to keep their humanity. They are stronger,smarter and faster than normal Infected people. The only difference in their apperence is that Cross Infected people have Milky eyes.

Empties: The Empties are the lower form of infected people,their minds have gone back to a primative state and will attack at a split seconds notice. They can smell blood when it is spilled and they know when an uninfected person is near. The whites of their eyes have turned red,while their iris have turned black.

Beginng~

The girl moved quickly down the dark street,looking back over her shoulder from time to time. She brushed her hair from her face as she turned to inspect a dark alley way,her eyes widened and she backed away picking up her pace untill she was running,her shoes hitting the pavement noisly,she could hear them chasing her,their growls,grunts and heavy breathing gave them away. All she had to do was stay ahead of them.

Rhys stood outside the shop and rattled the lock once,they were running low on supplies,he glanced around himself,then stepped back and kicked the lock a few times,causing it to break,he pulled the shutter up and picked the lock on the door open. He heaved himself to his feet and went inside. Things had been tough since he'd lost his brother and sister,but he'd found some other survivors and was managing to stay alive. He walked along the shelves,dropping anything that the others had asked for into a bag or picking up anything that took his fancy. He stopped at the alcohol and picked up a bottle of vodka and a bottle of wine,grabbing a pack of ciggerttets as he made his way back out. He needed a few things for 'self medication' to help him sleep a bit better,plus some of the others could do with it too.He pulled his hood up and walked quickly

Eoughan stared out over the abandoned city,he knew he was infected and there was nothing in the world that could change that...he just wanted his brother and sister to be safe,as safe as they could be.

 

Molli stood atop of an old, tall brick wall. She looked around from time to time to make sure no one had followed her. It had been just a couple years ago when this infectious virus went viral. Maybe a tiny part of her was scared, or worried. She had sat there and watched her dad slowly turn into one of them. It wasn't right.
Molli sat down slowly and dropped one leg over the brick wall and scrunched the other one close to her and held onto it. She looked out over the city. Some parts beaming with light from lamp posts or buildings. Some parts dark, abandoned. . . Forgotten.

 

Sophia was bored out of her mind. She'd been trapped in her apartment for days on end, and her food supply was running out. Being on the second floor, she had a good view of the surrounding area from the balcony. Yawning and stretching her worn muscles, the girl stepped onto the balcony and breathed in slowly. She sighed. "Someone, please... find me," she murmured to herself, sitting on a small lounge chair. She left the sliding balcony door open behind her, in case an infected her to surprise her. "So is this what it feels like to be a damsel in distress...?" Sophia was about to scream out, but remembered that the infected were drawn to noise. Instead, she rest her arm on the side of the lounge chair and sighed once more.

 

Rhys pulled his hood down and he unlocked the door to the house they were using. He looked around before going in,he placed the bag on the table beside the door

Zeke looked down upon the city from the rooftop he was currently on. This was probably the fifth place he'd stayed ever since the infection started. Every place he'd stayed at was only a temporary solution to his problem. Moving away from the ledge he turned and faced the door.Guess I've been here long enough. He thought before heading towards the door.

 

Rhys moved through the house,looking for the other survivors,but found none,he moved to the kitchen,planning on starting the nights meal,he cracked open the bottle of vodka as he went. He'd been thinking to much again and he didnt like it. He missed his family. He'd been alone far too long.

Eva let out a choking sob and she ran faster and turned the corner,searching for a place to hide

 

Molli slowly sat up again and began walking to brick wall to a near by building. She jumped with all her might and grabbed onto the ledge, using every muscle in her body to pull herself up. Once she had gotten atop the roof she used bricks and other heavy objects to block anyway of someone, or something, to reach her.
Molli, out of breath and breathing heavily, quickly took off her yellow shirt and replaced it with a tight, long black sleeved shirt, and pulled her black and pink striped arm warmers over her arms. Breathing slowly again, Molli walked over to the edge, draw stringed backpack flung over her right arm, and sat down, flailing her legs slowly to keep her from fidgeting to much. "I hope this will all end soo ." Molli whispered quietly to herself.

 

Sophia saw a figure turn the corner and run down her street. She looked to herself, and gave herself a reassuring nod. "Hey, hey you! Over here! Quickly, it's safe here!" The girl exclaimed. She can't believe she was doing this, she was putting herself in danger for some unfortunate person. Oh well, too late to turn back now. "Hurry, hurry! Quickly! Before the Infected come!"

 

Eva hurried over to the other girl and hurried inside "T-thank you"she said

 

"Man, today's been boreing, you there, go get me a few sparring partners." Lewis sighed. He managed to take control of a few Infecteds in Las Vegas's ruins. He took his fairly large sword from its place on his chair and went the the ruins of the Adventure Dome. When the outbreak started, the owners of the Adventure Dome took out all of the thrills of the place and turned it into a safe haven until the Infected managed to infect a small child who went too close to a window with a hole in it, and from there the rest is obvious. The reason Lewis went there is after the infected conquered Vegas, a large chunk of the Infected left, few stayed. Years went by until Lewis managed to get there and take control of some infected, the control was just fear of his large sword, and there own wanting to live. They obeyed and didn't attack him or enrage him, you were fine, but if you did, he would kill them on the spot. The few Infected that did not fear his sword were captured and put into the Adventure Done-now named the Infect Dome-and put them as Lewis's opponent as a demonstration, either that, or when he was bored he would have one captured, gave it a weapon, and spared it with his long, wide blade. He was walking by an old apartment when he saw a girl with brown hair inter the building. "Most likely a new Infected passing through as they do." He continued to walk until a rouge Infected attempted to harm him, and rather close to his destination. "You," he began "need a tic tack." With that, he shoved a canister of mints into the Infected's mouth and slashed it through it's stomach. "Whatever you ate, its bad for your breath." he said kicking a chunk of the dead Infected stomach aside.

 

Molli let out a low-yet loud-whistle intoto the breezy night. Hoping that maybe someone would hear her. Nothing. "Why am I wasting my time when no one can hear me!" Molli sighed, getting up and started towards the door into the abandoned building to investigate the rooms. 'If there is nothing in the rooms, not Infected things or people, then maybe I could just crash here for the night.' Molli thought, opening to door and creeping down the worn down stair case.

'It looks as if this used to be a Hotel. A very casual Hotel for that matter.' Molli inspected her surroundings and pushed her ear up to every door down the long hallway until she heard rustling in another room. 'Keys?' Molli confusingly thought. 'What would an Infected be doing with keys?' Molli continued listening and when she heard a bag rustling, tripped backwards and fell onto the floor.

 

Rhys froze at the sound, then he turned the cooker off and set his bottle down. He slowly made his way to tge door, picking up a metal bat along the way , slowly he pulled the door open and looked out" Jesus..." he muttered" you nearly gave me a heartattack!"

 

Molli sat there for a moment, wide-eyed. Then, she took a deep breath in and relaxed her frozen muscles. "I'm sorry for startling you." Molli softly whispered as she got up and dusted herself off. "I hadn't known that anybody was residing here." Molli chuckled softly to hide her embarassment. The last thing she needed was to be getting down in a fight. Troubling the wrong person and having it end badly. "I will not bother you anymore. Again, sorry for startling you." Molli gave a small reassuring smile and started walking down the hallway, but forgot her draw-stringed backpack on the floor where she had fallen.

 

" hey! Wait!" he called

 

Molli stopped and looked back. "I said I was sorry." She whispered, scared a bit that maybe she had crossed the line.

 

" you've left your bag... He said holding it up.." do you have some place to go?"

 

Molli took her bag and flung it over her back. "Well, I'm out and about. I never really stay in one place for long, y'know because of the Infected things and all." Molli shuffled awkwardly, seeing as this is the only non-infected person she has encountered since the outbreak.

 

" it's getting dark though... Things get worse when it's dark.. Do you want to stay here until it's light?"
