This was done as a request and anyone is welcome to add anything or correct me if see fit. Hopefully this seems to be accurate.

Lexaeus known as the Silent Hero is one of the original six members that helped found the organization. He, Zexion and Vexen are the members that are forced to stay in the basement of Castle Oblivion due to Marluxia being put in charge by Xemnas. In the manga, Lexaues spends his time in the gym that is found down there which adds to his strength and determination of being well disciplined. Lexaeus and Zexion use Riku to help the organization when Zexion discovers that Marluxia and Larxene are scheming to take over the organization by using Sora’s power and Namine to erase his memories and implant fake illusions instead.

He does not trust Vexen and keeps him in line which Vexen resents since he is number 4 and is clearly the eldest member of the organization. The silent hero looks up to Zexion who is the biggest schemer of the bunch and once Vexen is killed by Axel, Lexaeus takes the matter into his own hands and confronts him persuading him to use the darkness inside of him to therefore become more powerful. With this intention in mind, Lexaeus plans to use the darkness from Riku’s power to fight back against Marluxia and his devious plot to overthrow the organization. Riku refuses to listen to Lexaeus and forces him to fight him. He is defeated by Riku (darkness of Ansem) and feels some regret for failing Zexion. Zexion and Lexaeus must have had some tight bond and stuck together for many reasons such as being very good schemers and not trusting Vexen who clearly had a vendetta on every member of the organization it seemed like.

With Lexaeus's mighty strength, his element of earth clearly symbolizes his connection of brute strength and dominance. Like the earth when it quakes, his massive power is one to behold for his enemies and clearly gives him an advantage and disadvantage. Disadvantage meaning speed would be his downfall, but he clearly makes up for it with his massive attacks. The color of his hair auborn reflects that of sunlight on the dirt or clay for it ripples like that of an earthquake with the style that he has. His reason for being the silent hero is clearly he does not speak so much, but has a cause for his actions

I'm glad someone finally pays attention towards him. He's so left-out but such an awesome character at the same time.

I know. Nobody sees the real potential in him. He is the best and could have stuck around for KH2 if he didn't go get himself killed. I guess he thought he was srong enough to bet Riku. *sobbing* *sniffle*

I think he was a bit reckless on that. If he'd thought it through, maybe things could be different for him.

DARNIT SQUARE, Y LET SUCH AN AWESOME CHARACTER GET SO LITTLE SCREENTIME. X(

i think he tried talking to Riku at first but was forced to figth him like it says.i'm sure he wanted to attempt to have Riku to use the darkness as his weapon, like it says.

The cool thing is that he can raise his power by will in Final Mix. That is always a good ability.

Lexaeus really was fitting his name as 'The Silent Hero'. He did not really trust Vexen, which Zexion did not either, but he did try to keep peace between the two others and keep some sensibility. To me, he was that silent warrior sort like a Samurai depiction or Native American silent warrior sort. He had an honor and calmness about him that said he would sit through about anything until his honor was besmirched or he had to let out his combat ferocity. Like his element of earth, he was calm and a pillar of strength but when in combat, he was volatile and a force to be reckoned with. He really was Riku's strongest opponent other than Ansem (Xehanort's Heartless) because both are in their ways connected to earth. Riku is very physically strong but this was the battle in which his strength was not aiding him so much as his speed and dexterity were. It was a harder fight for that reason.

I do think that even though we only see a little time with Lexaeus being on the screen, we could ascertain those principles about him that he was honorable, strong and committed, as well as intelligent. His appearance of being a hulking huge guy often make people depict him as dumb but he was not. He made his mistake in trying to force out the Darkness within Riku but he did not know what lurked truly within Riku either so the mistake was out of ignorance and not done so by foolhardiness. All in all, a lot of people were neutral or not caring at all about Lexaeus, but I found him to be cool. I sometimes ponder if he looked more 'androgynous' like some other Org members if he'd have been more popular. There aren't really many if any fangirls out there of Lexaeus heh.

His failing was screentime. With other members, you got to watch them, and develop their personality. With Lexaeus it was one scene of plotting, then a battle. I was really surprised when I saw him vanish. I was wondering why the death came so soon. I expected him to flee, and come back later.

Him, Vexen and Zexion were the only people not to get two fights in Castle Oblivion. Yet Vexen got a hell of a lot of screentime, and he actually did stuff. Zexion got less, but he was around for almost all of Riku's story, and he got to be killed in a spectacular fashion. I think he could have been developed more, but then again, Zexion's cute (I have a feeling saying that will bite me on the bum one day.)

Lexaeus got none of this flash stuff. He was undeveloped and lacked screentime. His weapon was fairly normal, and his element was not unusual (Bane of Pikachu or not!).

Well, like Riku said in Re:CoM, "You're slow." That was his only downside.

yes, lexaeus, my favorite Organization member. who I've beaten the most on FM. it is sad that he didn't get much screen time on COM. but at least he's in FM+. i really wish he'd appeared in sora's storyline at least!
