Rho used Quick Blitz. He did 4 damage, but with Strength, Speed and Weapon he did 28 damage.
Malkira used Blitz. He attacked 5 times dealing 3 damage each time (total 15). With Strength and Weapon he did 35 damage.
Zephyr used Quick Blitz on Everlue. He did 2 damage, but with Strength, Speed and Weapon he did 18 damage.
Zéphyrine used Barrier Surge. It did 8 damage, but with Defence it did 14.

"Excellent work. Now that this repulsive man has been disposed of, I suppose we can make our way out of here. Do you have the book?" Vance asked, satisfied that they had defeated the Duke. He put up a fight, it seemed everyone had been hit to a certain extent, although some people more so than others. Regardless, he couldn't help but feel a small sense of satisfaction. He almost felt proud of the others, despite their lowborn backgrounds. Even Conrad had acquitted himself well. Truthfully, he had almost forgotten their differences in the heat of battle. Now of course, all bets were off. Everything was the same as it had been before.

 

"Better then me?" Mikasa asked him, taken a back. What an idiot to even have the nerve. Not caring about how she looked now to Caliborn, she socked Gaius right in the nose. "Let's go home."

Meanwhile up in the tree Veilen had gotten a sense of where exactly he was. Still in the tree, which made this the best landing he's had so far. His head was uninjured, least during the landing so there was that. His stay in the tree was a short one as Gaius had showed up to pull him out of the tree as well as hand him his sword. That was a relief, he'd kinda promised the guy who made this sword for him that he'd take good care of it. Losing it would definitely be the opposite of that.

"I'm good, I've had my fill of being launched for the day." What he really needed was a better way of landing, like aero. That would make landing after any future instances of him being launched easier.

The first thing that Zephyr did once Everlue was defeated was to walk tot he gold key that he'd dropped and pick it up. He wouldn't be needing it so why not take it with him. To Zephyr there wasn't a downside in doing so. So he pocketed it and looked to the others right as Vance had asked if they gotten the book, to which he motioned to Aoki.

"Yeah, it was a lot easier to find once that book shelve was knocked down. I guess that means we're done here." Unless anyone else here had something else they wanted to do, whether it be personal or just cause, would be up to them. He himself had nothing more that he wanted to do and so he just waited. With the exception of a few people, his opinion on them had remained fairly neutral. That was fine, he didn't have any plans on leaving this guild any time soon so there was time to build better opinions. So long as they don't annoy him.

 

"Let me see that thing." Zéphryine took a closer look at the book, before tapping her tambourine. In front of their eyes, it burst into flames. "There's the book taken care of, let's go home." Zéphryine muttered, though there wasn't really have a home to go back to. Being Guild Member meant home, but a guild member she was not. The Guild was no home of hers.

~ Mission End ~​

 

Quinn managed to defend against the shadow dragon's roar thanks to his armor. He wasn't completely unscathed, but there was no major damage to him. He got in a position to counterattack, but was stopped by an overwhelming air of condescension. He looked to the door to find a group of people walking in slow motion in formation. This must be that Team King he'd heard about. Supposedly, they were the best of the new recruits. At least, that's what he'd heard. Given time, they might make S-class. Although, he had yet to see them in action. So he'd reserve judgement for himself. He sat back down at the bar and sighed. "Ah to hell with it. We'll do this later."

Beucette looked at the ones who had returned. There was Team King, douchily walking in slow motion. Then there were two S-classes with them, Dale, Ander, Therity, and Cal. She raised her nose, giving the air a sniff. There was an odd smell coming from that group. Scooby Doo ing her way across the floor, she sniffed Calxyin. "You. You smell like Estrogen and Betrayal. Alright. Spill the beans. Who'd you ****? If not that then there must've been somethin' goin' on with someone there shouldn't have been." ​

 

Calxiyn was completely confused by Beucette sniffing her. "Oh ya you're my roommate... aren't you." She mumbled. Her face flushed. "You got the wrong idea! I didn't do anything with anyone I swear!" She held her hands up to her cheeks.


Zéphryine sat by the bar, taking out the tambourine. "That job payed well, I should enough for at least a week of food at the court..." Zéphryine muttered, counting the gold.

 

Beucette squinted her eyes suspiciously. "Yeah i don't buy it. You can't fool me. I know everything. Listen, if you're really that horny, then i can set you up with a guy here in the guild! That way you can satisfy your lady boner all you want without having your approval rating go down faster than the lovechild of the Hindenburg and the Titanic." She gave a slight pat on the shoulder. "Don't you worry! Leave it to ol' Beucette! You like blondies right? Well, i think we all know what time it is!" Out of nowhere, the lights dimmed to total darkness. "That's right folks, it's time for your favorite wizard dating show!" She walked into the spotlight, donning a suit and holding a microphone, an unseen audience cheering for her as she did so. "Our guest today is a poor lonely little soul who just can't control her urges. She turns to the bad boys, but that gets her in trouble. So we need to set her up with a guild mate who will treat her nice!"

A group of silhouettes appeared in front of Cal as she was put into a chair. "Today we have three suitable bachelors for the tastes of our little Calxiyn. Bachelor number one is a man of class. He looks to shape the guild into a better future, though he can be a bit over the top. He also seems to have a taste for the finer things in life. Like gold. Lots of that ****. Bachelor number two is basically a carbon copy of number one as far as appearance goes, but as far as personality, they're not quite alike. He's a man of few words, and seems to always be sizing up the situation. He's a bit mysterious, but that gilgamesh appearance has a lot going for him. And Bachelor number three is...uh...He's Roxas. Now then, take your pick!"​

 

Calxiyn felt her eyes go wide. Oh. My. God. "I'm not looking for anyone Beucette honestly!!" She yelled. She was so embarrassed. "Please stop." She whispered meekly. How many members of the Guild were looking over here...

 

"Aw, a shy one. That's cute. She's denying that she's just longing for someone to hold her at night. So adorable. But hey, maybe she's right. Let's ask our audience!" After various shouts of one number or another, they had all pretty much confirmed that they thought she was after someone. Now, who the hell the audience was comprised of, how the hell they got here, and why they seemed to go with that this was a dating show was completely irrelevant. "There you have it! Come on, no need to be shy. Just follow your heart and pick the one you think would be best for you. There isn't a wrong answer. I've helped a great many people find what they were looking for before! Not all of them knew they were looking, either." Beucette said, spewing bullshit every which way. This was the premier episode of the show and she'd never helped anyone find love in her life. ​

 

"Someone help me." She mumbled.

 

Beucette gave a frown. "That doesn't sound like an answer to me. Well if you won't answer then we'll just leave it to fate! And that means it's time for the fun part of the show!" Restraints gripped ahold of Cal's wrists, confining her to the chair. It leaned back, so she was laying flat on her back. "Wheel of Indecision!" The crowd chanted each word along with Beucette. An enormous wheel raised up from beneath her. "Ready or not, here we go!" And it began to spin. Moving around along the stage, it bumped into several obstacles which sent it ricocheting off and making a pinball noise as it lit up. It spun faster, creating a string of overlapping "dings" as it bounced around the area. The host of the show leaped on and rode the wheel with their unwilling contestant. "Wheeeeee!" She cried, wind blowing through her hair. It lasted for a few minutes before finally hitting against one of the silhouettes and lighting it up. "Number one it is!" Beucette yelled as the wheel stopped. "That's all for today folks! Come back next week to see how Veilan fairs in his own quest for love! Beucette, out!" The two were then Calxiyn and her "chosen" bachelor were then powerplayed to Cal's dorm to do the horizontal tango. Well, at least that's what she assumed they were going to do.

Ra stood in the center of the room, blinking several times. He wasn't entirely sure what had just happened. He was clearly as confused as Cal was. He looked over to her, with a momentarily confused expression, before it wore off. He remembered what she'd done on the island. His face turned into a scowl and he glared at her. He turned his gaze away, saying nothing for the moment. ​

 

Her face went even redder when Beucette had stuck her in her room with Ra. "I didn't have anything to do with this I swear!" Calxiyn exclaimed, but then she saw the look on Ra's face. "Ra..." She knelt down beside him, since Ra was sitting on one of the girl's beds. "I-I'm sorry."

 

Ra stared at her for a moment, before taking a deep breath. "Tell me, why? Why did you betray us? I thought you better than that." He said, obviously upset over the betrayal. It almost seemed a mixture of hurt and angry in equal parts. He didn't take treason well since his brother betrayed him. ​

 

She sighed. "I thought... I thought I was going to be in control. I thought I could use the power I have, myself instead. I wasn't going to let Boreal control me!" Calxiyn cried. "I just wanted to be strong, like all of you! I wanted to be able to take the darkness out of the world. I wanted to destroy the thing that hurt Boreal. Isn't that what we do as Wizards? Aren't we supposed to help people? I thought... I thought I was doing a good thing. I thought we could do it together! I'm sorry Ra!"

 

Ra sighed. "You cannot act so brashly! If we hadn't stopped you, that demon would have been released, and countless would have died. Yourself likely included in the casualties. What you believe to be helping people, would have in fact likely ended in Boreal's death alongside many others. You must know your own strength. Recklessly overestimating yourself will result in bringing danger to those you wish to help." Ra stopped. He appeared deep in thought. He was trying to grasp what he thought of her right now. "You fought against us. Turned on us for someone you hardly knew. The choice may not have been entirely yours, though. It cannot be allowed to happen again." ​

 

"But we could have beaten Deliora! We could have done that Ra. I know we could have. That's all..." Calxiyn was trying to hold back tears now. "I didn't want the same thing that happened to Ezekiel happen to Boreal too... you say I didn't know Boreal but I saw Ezekiel in him, and I saw myself in both of them! How could I turn away myself, who I thought was in need. How could I watch them suffering, I couldn't." She started to fell faint. She felt in the sleeves and pockets of her dress. "My Mask... it's gone." She was breathing heavily now, and starting to shake. "Ra, where is it, what happened to it?" She felt to her heart. "Do you know?"

 

Ra listened to her words. She said she had seen Ezekiel in him. A madman obsessed with power. However, she saw herself in them as well. "We could have brought down the demon, but it would have been far too hard fought to be considered a victory. Likely several of us would have died in the process. With our current strength, it would not have been worth it the price." Ra sighed. After listening to her, his anger had subsided. He'd given her the chance to explain herself, and she had done so. "I suppose...If i was willing to give Ezekiel a second chance, you should be given the same. Know this, though. Should you turn on us again, i will not be so forgiving. If your sympathy for another leads you to help them, then speak with me. We will help them, i promise you. Though, it may not be how you initially percieve." Then, she began searching her person, and became worried when she couldn't find what she was looking for. "The mask was picked up by Dale and brought back to the guild for safekeeping. If it is truly important that you get it back, you may ask that it be returned." ​

 

Galuna Island:



Ander's pov:
He watched Mikasa punch Gaius on the nose. What was with the women in high ranks in this guild. They were all full of themselves. Evanora, Mikasa and then there was Calxiyn. While Calxiyn was not a high ranking guild member she was in the same boat as the other two. Not helpful and all around a pain in the butt. Quite frankly he had enough. He then turned to Calborn. I wanted to talked to you about how things went. He then told him everything that happened on the mission. "So I think that once we get back to the guild something needs to happen." He was not sure what Calborn would say. "I for one think." (part withheld for reasons)
He soon got on the boat. Hopefully what he said to Calborn would work. If not he tried his best. The boat ride back was long. They took many stops and so not go the way they came. Once he left the boat when they got to land he left something on the boat. He was kind of surprised by the whole mission. He then walked to wherever they went to get back to the guild. He thought about the mission as a whole. He soon arrived back at the guild hall. Needless to say Evanora had a lot to answer to. She probably not do anything like always. After this was over no one could say that he did not try to stop this madness. The look of unhappiness was on his face as he entered the guild.

Guild Hall:

Ander's pov:
As soon as they entered the guild some girl came over and said to Calxiyn. 'You. You smell like Estrogen and Betrayal.' He some what did not know what to do. It really was none of her business what happened. Then she went off on some show or something. He just stood there in shock. Not sure to take what Beucette said and was doing seriously or not. He gave a slight smile. This was a good punishment for what she did on the island. He then made a note to high-five Beucette later. If nothing else it would give them time to talk about Boreal and what Calxiyn did on the island. He was enjoying this somewhat. Calxiyn asked for help. He almost l laughed at this. Were was Calxiyn when then need her help? She was either trying to get into Boreal's pants or fighting them. This was a good lesson for her. He for one was done helping her. Whatever she got from the guild members was to good for her. It was time to go onto other things. He had to find Evanora. As much as he rather not talk to the guild leader it had to be done. He would now could see if the other agreed with his plan. His first option was to find Ra and talk to him. He was some what missing for some reason. The next best person was charlotte. Ra was the only person that understood him. He was the closest person to a friend he had other then Ren. He soon found Charlotte, wherever she may be. "I want to talk to you. Can I have a word?" This was going to take forever to talk to every person from Galuna.

Veilen had absolutely no idea what had just occurred in the guild hall. Suddenly there was some kind of dating show going on, one that ended with Ra being wists away to who knows where with Cal. May god have mercy on his soul. Anyway, just want did she mean by his quest for love. Was there something going on that he wasn't aware of. That wouldn't be surprising, but something relate to love is a different matter.

Prior to stepping foot into the guild hall, Zephyr had a feeling that something odd would happen if were to walk in due to his mostly blond hair. It was unclear as to what it was, but the feeling went away soon enough. That was odd, but with a shrug of his shoulders he sent into the guild and notice that there were significantly more people here now then when he'd first arrived. If this was the actual amount of people in this guild or at least close to it, then it was definitely much larger than his previous one.

Right now though he wasn't quite sure what to do. People were either standing around, talking or anything in between. This was one of the downside of being the new guy, well one of them anyway. For the time being though he found an empty seat at one of the tables and sat there.

One second he was waiting for a response for Taylor and the next there was a spot light as part of some game show. It ended with the bird man being picked. Welp, back to waiting for Taylor to say something.

Prior to everything that had gone on in the guild hall, Leo had already started to lead Silvia towards the center of town. Starting there seemed like a quick and easy way to get a feel for the town. Plus if there anything that they passed that caught Silvia's attention, then he would have no problems with stopping so that she could get a better look. If not, then he would just point out things that he knew about and tell her about them as they walked.

The closer they got to the center of town, the more voices that could be hear as well as a couple of people walking in the same direction of them. While their reasons were likely different, it was a good sign as to how much was actually at the center. It wasn't long before they had arrived and the first place that they'd walked towards was the fountain. If there was one thing that could be said about fountains was that they made decent meeting places. "Well here we are, the center of town. Most of the local shops are around here." Leo said, arms outstretch and a grin on his face.
