Therity used Basic Attack on Wyrm 2 and if that was already dead (which it probably won't be because Therity has the second highest speed) then she used it on Boreal.





Well that was pretty fun. Taylor sat up a few minutes later, exhilerated though sweaty and somewhat tired. "Thanks for that," she said to Beucette. "Interesting location, too. I've never had sex on a rooftop before." She looked towards the door of the roof, wondering if anyone had seen them. That probably would've been a semi-traumatic sight, if they had. Taylor silently apoligized to anyone who had stepped in, but at the same time she wasn't sorry for doing it. She hadn't been that excited in a long time. Smiling, she turned back to Beucette. "We should probably get back. People might wonder where we are." Taylor paused. Well, she thought to herself. They might wonder where Beucette is. The only guild members who really know who I am are Zwei, Amanda, and, obviously, Beucette. But still, we should get back. And get dressed. Taylor looked down at her naked body. Yeah, we should get dressed first.

Jack's pov: "I didn't learn everything from him. A few things I learned on my own. Let me know if there is something you wish to learn. As for why I don't think he is dead. I can't tell you everything I'm afraid. I fear I will put you in danger if I say to much. The one thing I can tell you is there was no body. If he died of old age I would have known. I went to see him everyday before he disappeared. He was a great Wizard. I was the only one who could beat him. I was the exception." He woundered what Ren would ask next. As much as he liked the guy, he couldn't tell him somethings from his past. He left a huge part of his past unsaid. He didn't lie about what he said he just didn't tell him Everything. "How did you pick up on magic on your travels Ren?"

Amanda's pov: After no reponce from Zwei (I am assuming he went in the room) "I'll see you later I have things to think about." She walked away and open her locket. Two people looking back at her. Then she dropped her locket and the picture came out. She picked it up quickly. She the notaced something she didn't ever before. On the back of the picture there was words. The words read: "We will always be there." She put the picture back in her locket and closed it. Putting the necklace back were it was before. "Funny you are not here for me now" she said to herself. She then began to cry. She had to stop her self. She stopped and wiped her eyes maybe no one would notice she had cryed.

 

Ren noted that Jack seemed quite proud of his capabilities, and talked about how he had not only learned by his own means, but also bested his master. To top it all off, he even offered to teach Ren a thing or two. “Thanks, Jack,” Ren chuckled, “but I won't waste your time. I was being modest back there when I mentioned my own abilities.” Something this young man will no doubt learn sooner or later.
“As for learning magic, it's like I told you, I picked it up on my travels,” Ren continued. “I would do a few odd jobs, and sometimes during these missions I would learn something new, or if I completed the task particularly well I would be shown how to use a spell as a reward. When you do that for over a decade, you do end up learning quite a bit.” Now, hopefully that answer will do him. If he starts asking too many questions things might get awkward. In fact, I should stop this before that happens.

With a large yawn, Ren stood up from his chair and stretched. “Well, it was good talking to you Jack, but if you don't mind I think I'll head off for a nap. I've got some things on my mind I need to go over. See you around?”
Half turned to leave, Ren paused to let Jack say his final piece. It was only the polite thing to do, after all.

 

Ra used Fire. It did 3 damage, but with a bonus it did 6. With Magic and Weapon it did 35 damage. Wrym 2 is dead.
Gaius used Blitz on Wyrm 4. He attacked twice doing 2 damage (Total 4), but with Strength and Weapon he did 14.
Veilen used Thunder on Wyrm 4. He did 6 damage, but with Magic and Weapon he did 16.
Ander used Thunder on Wyrm 4. He did 3 damage, but with Magic and Weapon he did 26. Wyrm 4 was pretty dead.




"You people are really starting to annoy me! No matter, prepare to meet your ends! I will not allow this any longer!" Boreal's blades disappeared, replaced by four tendrils that extended from his back, with far bulkier armour surrounding him. With a shout of rage, Boreal lashed out with the tentacles striking each Guild Member, shattering their shields. Dale was unluckier. He left him to last, flaying him with all four weapons and conjuring a spear of ice that he threw into his chest.

Dale got up again, his magical energies depleted somewhat. He had managed to be fine because of Charlotte's defending him, but the enraged strikes had taken a lot of him, as he had quickly materialised armour to absorb the hits, but the raw power required had drained him. He recasted the shields on the other Guild Members, but they were weaker than before. If he was to have the same attacking power, then he'd need to reduce the shield power.
"Come on, keep going! We can win this!"

Therity used Basic Attack. With Strength and Weapon she dealt 12 damage.
Boreal's Defence reduced all the damage.

Boreal threw Therity back with contemptuous ease, laughing.

Jack's pov: "You wouldn't be wasting my time, and I know I still have things to learn maybe we can learn together. I also need to try and find Caliborn while I wait for Alessia to feel better. See you later Ren". He would look in his room for Caliborn soon he had desided. (I know Caliborn is gone but Jack doesn't know that he is)

 

Gaius' eyes widened as Boreal went into another form. He had really stepped up his game, but the form itself was what terrified Gaius. He had seen this before. Don't judge him for that, he had a friend that was into that kinda thing. He knew exactly what it was. "Tentacle porn!" he screamed as the tentacle hit him and slammed him back. Getting up quickly, he remembered the technique that went alongside anything porn. If he used a similar technique, he would be able to overcome this. Leaping at Boreal, he struck with all his might with his fist extended.

As Skadi walked back into the guild hall, she could feel the tension in the air. She didn't say a word to anyone though as she walked through the hall, making her way past everyone and heading towards Thea's room. Knocking quietly, she gently pushed open the door only to see Evanora. While she didn't hate the guild master, after the way she had started the mission and simply left them to fend for themselves it was kinda hard to not dislike her. However, she said nothing to her other than "I'm back" and turning her attention to Thea.

Kneeling next to her small friend's bed, she grabbed the bag and emptied the dolls onto the bed. "I...I got your dolls for you, Thea. I hope I got all of them, but one of them had no clothing at all so I made her this little dress, I'm sorry if I ruined your doll.." she said, looking down at the ground. She was apologising so much, this must be how Silvia felt all the time. "And...I made this for you too" she said, placing the thing she had made of ice on the bed. It was a solid, 3D version of the guild emblem made of ice, with the words "No matter how many bridges you burn, there are people here for you now, Thea" written at the bottom. "I'm so sorry I couldn't help you before, I hope we can still be friends" Skadi apologised. She hoped she didn't have to explain why she hadn't helped, she didn't want to make Thea feel any worse than she probably did.​

 

"You're not going anywhere, Thea. You're part of this guild now, whether you have the title or not. I'm not, and we're not, going to leave you out on your own, and I'll be damned if a friend and guild member is sad and lonely when I can help. The burn stung, but not as much as the knowledge that you were sad and I did nothing to help" Skadi responded. She didn't want to tell Thea about her problems with magic. She'd barely managed to create the dress and logo, and even then it had taken quite a while, and she didn't want to mention the fear of losing control she had about herself. And yet, she didn't want to leave Thea alone.​

 

Therity jumped back as the tentacles slapped at her. What the...? When did he get these? He's clearly stepping up his game. We were more of a challenge to him then he thought we'd be. Therity was pulled out of her thoughts as Gaius shouted, and for the first time, she snorted with laughter. What the hell? This guy was a complete idiot, even if he was strong. She forced herself to refocus and used Blitz on Boreal, determined to make a dent in his armor this time.

Therity used Blitz.

 

Zephyr used Quick Blitz. He did 5 damage, but with Strength, Speed and Weapon it dealt 24 damage. Maid 5 was quite dead.

"Definitely not what I was expecting." Veilen said in regard to Boreal's next form change. The bulky armor made since and wasn't surprising, but the tentacles were very surprising. Fortunately they appeared to be more focused on dealing damage rather the other, stereotypical, use for them were. That in mind Veilen charged up another fire spell in the palm of his hands and fired off towards Boreal.

Lucia had started listening intently at what had Thomas had to say about his parents. While she was said to hear about her father, she was absolutely fascinated by the description he had of his mother. She seemed like an extremely admirable lady, and Lucia thought that she seemed to be really super awesome all the while as well. However, her expression of joy while listening had faded away as Thomas had finished his recounting with how his mother was no longer with him. While she had a somewhat somber expression on her face after listening to it, she had to immediately perk back up as he had gone to apologize for telling her about his parents. "Oh no no, it was nice hearing about your own family." He then proceeded to go back into complimenting her some more to which she just said, "I suppose they are. I mean, my dad's a bit on the lazy side but he's a reliable guy, and my mom...well I probably don't hold a candle to her. But if I've got something wonderful about me, then they probably are to thank." After taking a sip of her drink she said, "you know Thomas, you're a pretty alright guy when you're just acting like you. Things would probably work out better when you're trying to talk to Scarlett if you just acted like you instead of trying to impress someone." She then stopped and thought for a second and, making a joke, said, "well, nevermind, Scarlett's a bit of an ice princess with a tire iro no matter who you are."

Charlotte had watched as Boreal had unleashed a new flurry of attacks at them with his ice tendrils. While Dale seemed to take it the worst, he was still in fighting condition, and gave them all new, albeit weaker, shields to use to defend themselves against. While Charlotte herself didn't think that she'd be able to puncture that icy armor of his with her usual output of damage, the others with their efforts combined would no doubt be able to deal some damage to him. So she just had to go on her way and defend to make sure that everyone could still fight perfectly fine. Charlotte used Barrier Surge followed by blocking the damage for Dale. Charlotte also hoped that her gaia bangle would come right back into existence during this fight. Like seriously, what's up with that shit dog?

After having been beaten down by a maid, Aoki stood herself back and saw that Zephyr had soundly taken on the one who had knocked her out. Letting out a sigh of relief, Aoki used cure on both herself and Zephyr as she extended out her fist to Zephyr, saying, "nice work against them. You sure cleaned house against those maids." After letting out a mental groan to herself, she then looked back at the library and said, "alright then, well I suppose we should get back to looking for this book then."

 

"Obviously Duke Everlue isn't stupid, he knows that we're trying to find the book and sent the maids to attack us. We need to go in and get Vance and Conrad, before Everlue decides he doesn't want to play nice anymore." Zéphryine explained to the others in the group.

It'd taken longer than he'd expected, but Zephyr had finally managed to beat the maid that had arrived to fight him. From the looks of things, Aoki had managed to handle her maid well too, despite the universe hating her, and had walked over to him to give him a fist bump in congratulations for his victory. He gladly accepted the offer and bump fists with her. "Right." His eyes rested on the collapsed bookshelf with all of the books that were once on the shelf strung out everywhere. "Guess we should start with theme." Having said that, he made his way over to the books that were on the ground and started to look through them.

After phasing out, thinking he heard someone yell at him to tie his shoe laces, he got back to the business at hand. "Ah yes Mr Everlue, the business we wanted to discuss relates to my family. As you might know we are only a rising star somewhere low on the horizon and we would like to reinforce our position by making deals with other families. You might also know that we own the Eisenstein Metallurgy corporation, that mines, smelts, refines and processes minerals and metals, we have a foundry nearby and well if you are interested we have shares you could buy, it would greatly benefit you." Conrad said, the foundry in question specialised in bullions and the casting of them, on his way in he had caught in a glimpse of a statue and if his impression of Everlue was anything to go by the man liked statues of himself this would suit him perfectly.

Evanora hushed Thea. "Skadi, thank you for doing that, it is very thoughtful of you." She gave Skadi a small smile. She then turned to Thea. "I am not sending you away young one, do not fear. You are not the only Guild Member with a questionable past. But in this Guild, the past matters no longer. Gaius used Quick Blitz. It dealt 2 damage, but with Strength and Speed and Weapon it did 27 damage.
Therity used Blitz. She attacked 4 times dealing 5 damage (Total 20). With Strength and Weapon it did 37 damage.
Charlotte used Barrier Surge. She dealt 9 damage, but with Defence it did 13 damage.
Veilen used Fire. He dealt 4 damage, but with a bonus he did 6. With Magic and Weapon it did 19.
Ra used Fire. He dealt 3 damage, but with a Bonus he did 4. With Magic and Weapon it dealt 30 damage. <---- Much better than Ander, so he should be more like this guy. Also Veilen should as well for that matter.
Dale used Lightning Storm. He dealt 35 damage. With Magic and Weapon he dealt 68 damage.
Overall , the party dealt 212 damage.
Boreal's Defence reduced 39 damage. The party dealt 173 damage total.
