Amanda's pov: "we will win". Being hopefull was the key to this part of the wand. She used blitz.

Drosselmayer's Mansion:

Jack's pov: He wanted to talk to someone in the group badly, but because they were not sopost to at this time he could not. They arived at a castle. He would open the door but something told him it was a really bad idea or he would somehow mess this up just like the other things in the mission. Somehow this wound go wrong. When all he wanted to do was try to make friends, have fun, or do something that should work, but it would ended up not working. He didn't know how he would mess up opening a door but he knew it would be possible if he could. Also he knew he might get yelled at for not opening the door, and would get blamed one way or another.

Ra had been the first person to answer his question on what to do about Cal and his answer was not one that he was expecting, like at all. He was all for giving her a chance to change her mind, but not striking her down. Knocking her unconscious seemed like a better suggestion to him, unless that was what Ra had meant. Though with the bitter tone that he spoke in, it was kinda hard to tell. Ander had agreed to giving her a second chance and that was it. Cal sure picked a cruddy time to decide to betray them. Things might not bode well for her once this was all over.

After leaving the temple, they had arrived to where Boreal and Cal were. Time to commence operation talk some sense into her. Before they could, Boreal had placed some mask on her face, which brought about a serious change in attitude for the pink haired girl and attire for she suddenly worn some armor and gained another keyblade. All that plus an dark aura emitted from her. Part of him wanted to go and attack Boreal, but doing so would leave him open to an attack from not only Cal, but Boreal himself. If they were going to get to Boreal, the would need to get past Cal and whatever the mask on her face was. Veilen then drew his sword before speaking. "You sure do love causing trouble for us Cal." No matter, they were going to have to beat some sense into her now or beat the mask off.

Sara's pov:
She felt a healing light. She then became aware of what was going on. A large pile of rock that was once the giant rock monster was near by. What happed to that thing? It did not madder at the moment. Alessia then said everyone did a good job. She did not remember doing anything that was note worthy of saying she did anything that was good. What had happened was a mystery. She looked at Alessia with a questioning look on her face. She looked and saw that the boat was now done. Then major Mint said that everyone did a good job fighting. Was she apart of it? If she did fight why was it that she did not remember the fight at all? Some rather strange things has happened on the mission. The last thing that she remembered was a rock falling on her and feeling angry. The next moment she was looking at a pile of rocks that used to be the rock monster. She thought about asking them what had happened. She did not however, because they would have told her some story how she fought with magic or something. Magic, that strange green magic light of healing was the only magic she knew, that she knew of. They got on the boat shorty after. They then reached a large island full of trees and flowers. The place did not seam real. It was almost to perfect. "This place is strange." She thought about going into the palace. Somehow when she said something she would mess it up. Whenever she talked something bad happened. When she did not talk something bad happened. If it came down to it she guess she would do it. Jack did not seem like he would open the door. She had the nagging feeling that not everything was right with the whole palace. She walked to the open door of the place. Thea said she would go first. Then Thea and Silvia already went in. She then Said to captain candy "what do you think of this place?" What was with this place? What was within? Staying by the door. It was almost like they might close by magic or something. It was almost like it was not real. "I do not trust this place." She looked in to the palace and saw...

"You?! We shall go first!" The Major pushed through the doors, along with Thea, Captain Candy, Sara, Silva and the Nutcracker. That's when the castle collapse. It was completely made of cardboard, nothing more a sham. Then, a cage fell on top of the 4. It was quickly carried away by bats.

"Stop!" Clara yelled. “No…” Clara said, falling to her knees. “I should never have come. What was I thinking? They were right, there is no Princess after all... I'm so sorry.”

 

Scarlett used Blitz so Cal wouldn't murder her creator.

 

They'd arrived at their destination. In front of them stood Boreal and Calxiyn, at the top of the temple. Boreal seemed quick to force thrust the decision upon her. He placed the mask upon her face, causing her to undergo a change. She was no longer the girl they knew. He looked at the mask, and recalled seeing it once before, when it was being decided what would be done with Ezekiel.

"If you want to kill him, then I dare you to try. You'll have to go through me first, and the dark power that I've been holding back. Even...if it changes me forever."

So, this was the dark power she had spoken of. Ra stood silent for a moment. He knew nothing of the mask. Not it's origin, not it's power, and not the extent to which it changed those under it's effects. If she knew what it did, then it had likely changed her before. If she'd returned from it's influence, then it was possible to retrieve her mind from the darkness. If she was to answer for this, she would need to be herself. Ra stepped forward next to Charlotte and Veilan. He would fight beside them, and bring Cal back to them, for better or for worse.

"Boreal. You have beckoned a wrath you do not wish to face. You are but a grain of sand. When every trace of you is lost, we shall remain." His head turned toward their current opponent. Their guild mate, Calxiyn. "You have forgotten yourself. The moment the mask was placed upon you, control was lost. If that means we must now fight against you, then so be it. The flames of the eclipse will bear down upon you as well!" Ra beat his staff against the ground, causing a flame to light at it's tip.


Beucette simply stared as the castle fell, made of cardboard. Then a cage trapped them and proceeded to be carried away by bats. "I...That...What is i don't even..." She stood there, dumbfounded at the unbelievable simplicity of the trap. Either they were all idiots, or there were some damn good painters in the enemy ranks. She watched them fly off, cage in tow. "Well, that happened alright." She looked over to Clara, who had dropped to her knees in despair. "Don't beat yourself up over it. I've looked for plenty o' princesses in my time. For some reason, no matter where i look, they always seem to be in another castle...It's weird. Anyways, all we gotta do is go kick their door in, and take 'em back. Simple as that. No harm done." ​

Malkira stood directly behind the two noblemen, watching every corner with suspicion. The maid was gigantic, but not quite as gigantic as him. The Duke had a lavish house, some small part of Malkira wanted to burn it down... No, we're not burning down mansions anymore. At least, not until there's no other option...

 

Lucia used Blitz. She jumped 4 times, each time doing 5 damage. She did 20 damage, but with Strength and Weapon she did 49.
Aidan used Sliding Dash. He did 17 damage, but with Strength, Speed and Weapon he did 52!
Zwei used Quick Blitz. He did 5 damage, but with Strength, Speed and Weapon he did 31!
Amanda used Blitz. She jumped 4 times, each time doing 5 damage. She did 20 damage, but with Strength and Weapon she did 37!
Scarlett used Blitz. She jumped 4 times, each time doing 4 damage. She did 16 damage, but with Strength and Weapon she did 25!
Thomas used Fire. He did 2 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 12! Fire is super effective on the Evil Snow giant! It did double the damage!
Hasu used Aero. He did 8 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 39!

Evil Snowman took 257 damage! His defense reduced 7.

Evil Snowman did Smash. It did 10 damage, but with Strength it did 15!

Scarlett took a step back as the snowman's blow momentarily stunned her. Her head was pounding against her skull and she get like it was gonna explode. Cmon Scar, just a few more hits. At that moment, she caught movement in the corner of her eye that made her hesitate for just a moment. Thomas was down. She glanced out of the side of her eye at him, and then back at the monster and the cave. The cave wasn't going to last a whole lot longer if they didn't kill this thing. Besides, Scarlett didn't even have the best healing stats here. Some else would do it. She turned away from Thomas and launched another attack.

Zwei used cure on Thomas

 

After getting by another large slam attack, Lucia had seen that everyone, including the cave, were seeing worse for wear at the moment. This was a large problem to deal with for sure. Not to mention that Thomas had gone down and seemed to be out of it for right now. Well, that was a bit of a problem. Thankfully, Zwei had seeemed to be on the scene and readily healed him up to get him back on his feet. With everyone up and the snow golem seemingly on its last legs, Lucia did the only thing she could, which was just run at it and use Quick Blitz on the ice golem.

 

An overwhelming sense of despair overcame her as she watched the trap springing. There was nothing she could do as soon as the eerily quiet and eerily still castle collapsed, revealing the cardboard construction that it truly was. It was a trap this whole time. And we never knew. I can't believe that we just fell for the Mouse KIng's trick just like that... So how do we come back from this? The Nutcracker, the Major and the Captain. Our three leaders, only they really know where we're going. And poor Silvia and Thea, they're so gentle and innocent. They don't deserve this. They haven't done anything wrong... Apart from Thea. She burned the Snow Fairies alive so, is this some kind of punishment for what she has done? But what did Silvia do? All she has ever done is try to help, she never even wanted to hurt anything. And Sara... I don't know what to think of her. I just can't believe so many people were taken. She watched them all being flown away by the giant bats. She clenched her fists, and decided there and then that she was going to get the Mouse King back for this. As a side note, despite the strange manner in which it had been said, the strange Beucette had said something that vaguely made sense.
"Come on guys, we have to get them back. We need to find the Mouse King, and we need to defeat him." Alessia said, her voice iron determination. He will pay for what he has done. "He needs to pay for what he has done. Destroying this land, kidnapping our friends, locking away those fairies..." We'll get you back, hold on in there. We'll be there for you soon!



"Girl you should know better than to walk in front of your master. When we return home you and I shall have words. You know full well what I have done for your family as a return for your service out of my gratitude. I do not expect such disrespect from my trusted staff!" Vance reprimanded. It felt quite good being able to tell Zephyros- Zephrine? Whoever it was- Off for their disrespect. Better yet, she couldn't reply yet because otherwise that would break the part would it not? And she wouldn't want to endanger the plan. "And I will have you stand behind us. You disrespect not only me, but Conrad too." If there was any doubt that they were legitimate, they were surely assuaged now that he had reprimanded her so severely.



While the servants and the two young lords left, Edric drove the carriage onwards towards the stables that he had been guided too. When people had looked inside, they hadn't seen the cunningly hidden Aoki and Zephyr who were contained within. He stopped at the stables and unsaddled the horse as required. When all of that was complete, he knocked on the carriage door.
"Alreet you two, make the moost 'o this time as possible. Go feend tha' book as quick as ya can."

"By the seven stars!" The Major looked around in the cage. He then sat down. "Might as well get comfortable." Captain Candy followed.

"We'll be ok, I promise." He told the girls.

"You're right Beucettte, Alessia" Clara nodded. “But how do we find them?” Clara said, standing up.

Suddenly, a bunch of Fairies came to the island. The ones Alessia and the Nutcracker has saved. They were holding giant pieces of vines, and urged the group to grab on. Clara held one, and than suddenly, got taken up into the air.

"Come on guys!"

Zéphyrine squinted, mouth hanging open and her angry falling from it, about to cuss out Vance. Zéphyrine took a deep breath, and was quiet. "So sorry, Master. I promise I'll make it up to you." The tone was getting a tad bit more threatening.

Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht Carsten von Eisenstein II

When Vance set the plan in motion he felt an odd compelling force move him around and then saw the big man whose nametag read: "plot" was pushing him along. The carriage rode to the gates of the Everlue residence and Vance got out, Conrad followed his lead and let him do the word. When the maid came back out again Conrad got a little nervous, but he followed her anyways, Malkira following behind Vance and himself, with the giant lady with them he felt glad to have him with them. He felt Vance reprimanding Zephyrine was a bit harsh but atleast it made it look legitimate. There wasn't anything to be said about it.

 

Alessia looked up sceptically at the fairies holding the vines above. Do they really expect us to... Clara grabbed on to the vine and was lifted up into the air. Reluctantly, Alessia grabbed ahold of one was suddenly, uncomfortably lifted up into the air with very little warning. It was at that moment, as she was suspended in the air saved from death by a vine of questionable strength, that she discovered she had a fear of heights. She looked down at the ground below and for the first time that mission and indeed, ever in recent memory, she screamed. Alessia clung tightly to the vine rope praying to something, anything to make sure she didn't fall to her death. It's so high... Oh no it's so high... What if I fall? That's a long way down and I'll... I'll die. Is this vine strong enough? What if I lose strength and let go? In her panic, Alessia shut her eyes and silently prayed to something to make sure she didn't fall.
"Don't let me drop! Don't you dare let me drop!" Alessia shouted at the fairies holding the rope.




"You and I are going to have to have a private chat at this rate." Vance said, raising an eyebrow at Zephyrine. Of course, he had nothing of the sort in mind. He wasn't even sure exactly what gender Zephyrine was and she was clearly far, far beneath him. However, judging by the Duke's... Choice of company he supposed that this was the most resonant attitude to have to achieve success with him. They needed to appear men after his own heart. "Very private." He smirked. This is distasteful, but I do what I must for the sake of this mission. He scowled visibly, unable to hold back the cringe that came over him for the implications of what he had just said. Conrad and Zephyrine would clearly notice his discomfort at the words.
"I must remind myself to never say that again." Vance muttered, audible to Conrad and possibly Zephyrine were she close enough. Virgo was a good distance away, such that it was unlikely that she'd hear.

 

The red-head gave a thumbs up to Ander. "We'll stop him from using it, don't worry" he said, before his attention was caught by Cal going nightmare ventus.

Gaius couldn't believe what he was seeing. In the span of a couple of hours, Cal had gone from siding with Sapphire Eclipse to preparing to destroy her. Was this the mask doing it to her or was she just more stupid than he had initially though? Perhaps it was a combination of both? "Calxiyn, after Ezekiel was defeated you said something about murder. You made it sound like you had a horrible thing against it, and now you're going to release that demon? There's no way you're going to be able to stop it, you're releasing a catastrophe on the island. Not people just here, but everywhere, will die if you do this! What the hell are you thinking?" he yelled out. However, it appeared that she wasn't listening. Once again, his fists became ablaze with his fire magic as an incredibly serious look appeared on his face. "I never wanted to strike down a friend, but if it's to save them from themselves then I've got no choice" Gaius said, heat intensifying as was the seriousness; a sure sign Cal and Boreal were completely and utterly screwed.​

This whole situation with Calxiyn was getting out of hand. Therity seriously considered knocking her out, before the situation could get any worse. Before she had the chance, however, it did. Calxiyn flew out the room, supposedly to join this Boreal guy, who was Dale's half-brother. That particular news didn't suprise Therity - they shared quite a few facial similarities and they both used ice-make magic, as seen by Boreal's whip from earlier. While people pledged their services to Dale, Therity stayed quiet. They were on the same team, and switching sides as Cal had done wouldn't be beneficial to Therity anyways, since she knew how powerful they all were. They would beat Boreal and Calxiyn for sure, and she had no intention of being on the losing side. As they all travelled up the stairs and into the night, Therity looked up at the glowing purple moon. Wait, purple? Therity thought about the matter for a moment, but dismissed it until after the battle. She needed to concentrate on the moment, not on what could have caused the moon to turn purple on this island only. She listened to the exchange between her guild mates, and noted the effects that the mask had on Calxiyn. It had taken over her mind somehow, or at least released the darkness inside of her. This was confirmed by her memory of Calxiyn's speech after they defeated Ezekiel. She took out her sword as the guild accepted their fate to fight. "When we attack," Therity whispered, loud enough only so that her guild mates could hear (minus Calxiyn), "I recommend that attack them one at a time. Then, once we take out one of them, we'll be able to fight the other one on one without someone else barraging us or splitting our attacks. After all, it's better to be attacked by one person for part of the time, rather than two the whole time."​
