Sara's pov:
Not bothered by her killing someone how odd. She eyes got big when Thea found her bow. "Be carful with that it is cursed." It did not go off so no need to worry. Relief on her face. She took the bow. "Thanks. It is the last reminder I have of him. The only gift I have from him is lost." Thea's story was so similar to hers it was so odd. There was death and fire in her story to. Maybe she should tell Thea her story too. It would not hurt to tell her. Maybe this way she would become more she did not know but maybe she should tell someone. Making sure no one was listening to her story. "My story is long." She got up to play with Thea. "I was abandoned on the streets at the age of 5. I had to steal food just to get by. When I was 20 I meant a man that was nice enough to take me in. He always tried to encourage me to stop steeling, but I needed the money. We always meant in a park I never seen his house before." She stopped the story here for a moment. What to play she thought. She made a snow ball. Want to build a snow man?" Not waiting for a answer she started making one. The she continued her story. "It was easy to get this money. When I turn 21 the man gave me a locket for my birthday.
Inside is two pictures one of a young girl with long blond hair. Me at the age of 10. The other picture was of a older man that did not resemble the girl in the other picture in any way.
Also there is a peace of blank paper inside. The picture is of man the only man that helped me. How he got a picture of me at 10 I have no clue. The locket had some kind of calming effect to it I seemed happy with it for some reason. He seemed to know more about me then anyone. When I was 21 I was out steeling at this house. The man's home the only man that helped me. At the time I did not know it was his house. I had my bow out and I shot him. I barley touched the thing." (She killed the only person that was kind to her the weapon misfired, from being tampered with.) She stared crying now. Then she continued the story. It needed to be said. "The night before the man's death my bow was stolen. I was able to get it back. His death just happened." She passed here for a moment to let Thea think about what she had said. "There is more if you would like to hear it." There was the whole fire thing after words.

Sara's pov:
Thea was sure a mystery. Her stoy going over Thea head, but at the same time she understood. A Curse is just an accident or a blessing waiting for the right moment to reveal itself. That is why my powers aren't considered a curse. I'm not an accident I don't think, so it just means that it is still a blessing that I have to wait patiently for it to reveal itself. Thea was confused when I cautioned her about the being bow cursed. Did she watch when she used it last? she should have. (it misfires every time she uses it because of being tampered with.) "If that is true why does it still happen when ever I use the bow? The arrows have a mind of there own. The scene of the mans death plays over and over." sadness in her vice. "before it was stolen it never went off without me trying and now it does. I used to practice on trees years ago." Thea then asked Well were did you lose it? I can help you find it. It will be like a game of hide and seek. I love hide and seek! "It is my neackless I lost. the last time I saw it was at the guild hall." (there is no possible way Thea could find it because it is no longer there and someone charter has it.) "Wow you are so lucky! "luck had nothing to do with it. it was survive or die." Thea was optimidtic person. Because now you have a home, and friends, and money and food. Isn't that what you need. "I have no friends I can not have any. The fear of one day hurting someone like that man is a consit remined that I can not have any." Did Thea really think these things or was she just curious? "it is not like I can go back to the mans home the one I killed. It is no longer there. It burned down. People blamed me for the houses death." What did Thea relly think of all of this? If she could not really hurt then why should she not let the girl get close to her. Maybe she liked Thea because well Thea was her in a way. The only thing missing from herself was uncontrolled magic. "Do you think I did it like the rest of them? That I burned down the house. They think I did it to cover up the mans death. They said I did it so there would be no evince against me." Thea was so unnaturally happy all the time. Was it because of her age or was there more to her then one might think? "I wish I could do magic. the only thing I can do is make a green light that heals people." Remembering that she healed Thea. "I don't even know how I did it." It is like the bow it just happened."

Get a new weapon for use on the field. It was not that simple as that. She did not have the money for such a thing. It might end up better in the long run if she found someone that could remove the curse. (pulse it is the whole premise behind her :) .) "I do not have money for that sort of thing I would love to get it fixed but I do not know anyone that can do it. do you? Cassandra seems the most likely to ask, but I do not know." Get a new bow. "How am I sopost to fight in the mean time?" Was the answer that simple? Maybe. You just have to ask around the next time you are back at the guild hall. It was not that simple again. I am far to shy to ask for help and besides the truth of life would not allow it. People in life never help anyone they are all abut me me me. They are out for number one themselves. "I am far to shy for that, Thea. people are strange. I had to grow up with out anyone. Trust does not come easy from me." She did not know what else to say. But aren't I your friend? You were playing with me. We are friends right? I want to be your friend. I am not scared of you. "I can not be friends with anyone. Do you not see? By not being friends with anyone I am protecting them from me. They or you will never be able to feel the hurt of an arrow. But if you want to be friends and you say I can not hurt you. I do not see why not." She hoped that by doing this she would not regret it latter. (achievement unlock Sara's first friend.:) ) "I worry about other getting hurt from me." Maybe the man who tampered with your bow did it. She was not so sure "I do not know. were ever I go fire follows some times I think I did do it." She thought about that fire it was strange. "once I shot the man. I did not feel well. I feet angry that I could have done such a thing. I was still in his house when it burned down. I awoke with the house completely destroyed by fire. I do not even know how I lived. A young girl blamed me for doing said she watched me shoot fire fro my hands. I do not know any magic so I do not see how this is possible. I ran from that town. I jumped from town to town until I found Sapphire Eclipse." There was sadness in her voice. she often wondered if it was her. (she did do it. she is just not aware she can do magic) "Life is a mystery." What else was there to say. Magic was next on the next of things. You don't wish this. Trust me. "fire brings life." Shen then walked over to a tree and but her hand on it. "Just like this tree everything can die everything has its purpose. Fire makes space for the young. what was once death by fire is growth by fire." Then Thea looked sad from the thought of her fire not being what it once was. "Maybe there is a reason for your magic being weaker. All you have to do is believe that it is possible to control it and you will be able to do it. There are no accidents. Everything happens for a reason. You are strong. You have a useful weapon. Al you have to d is use it. Mine is just useless. You are only as strong as you believe you are. The only limit to your power and control is you. One only has to believe it is possible and the impossible becomes possible." She said this with a smile.

 

Amanda used Blitz! She jumped once, and each time she did 2 damage. She did 2 damage, but with Strength and Weapon she did 17!
Scarlett used Blitz! She jumped 5 times, each time doing 4 damage. She did 20 damage, but with Strength and Weapon she did 34!
Caleb used Blitz! He jumped 3 times, each time doing 5 damage. He did 20 damage, but with Strength and Weapon he did 33!
Thomas used Quick Blitz! It did 3 damage, but with Strength, Speed and Weapon it did 17!
Dawn used Aero! It did 1 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 14!

All together, the group did 115 damage!

“Hm, not so much as a thank you.” He muttered. He couldn't help but laugh as he saw some of the Guild Members play and talk with each other, it was nice to have such good friends. “How are we going to get out of here, the walls are solid ice.”


There was a chill, and snow started to fall. Out of the Snowflakes were older snow fairies. Thin and gracefully dancing across the ice.


“They’re beautiful.” Clara said in awe. They sparkled and shimmered. The fairies tried to pull the group to dance.


“Well come on!” Clara shouted to her new friends, as she danced with them as well. “Maybe if you dance for them they’ll get us out of here.”

The Nutcracker crossed his arms, there was no way anyone was getting him to dance.

Amanda pov: Amanda used quick blitz

 

As Lucia had continued going down the slide, she heard Hasu's response and nodded at the fact that this was something that should just be enjoyed as it was going on. She then responded to his questions by yelling back, "it's going alright! I'm pretty confused by everything that's happened, though I'm pretty sure that'll be par for the course here! Other than that, I'm doing just dandy here. Haven't been on a slide like this in forever, so this is awwweeesssooommmmeeee. As for the family," she then thought about it for a moment before responding by saying, "well I got absolutely no idea. Haven't talked to the folks since getting here, but they were more or less the same when I left them! So that is all fine by me!"

She then heard about the fight against "Ken," to which she sort of dropped down the slide before it even happened so she had no clue that the others were even in a fight. "Wait! There's a fight going on! Well that sucks. Now I kinda want to see if I can run up this slide to go help them out!" She then briefly considered this, only to realize that there was no feasible way to start running up a slide at full speed. This sucked even more. "Sadly I don't have any kind of Tea on me, not to mention tea ain't my cup of tea. Uh, maybe we can chow down on some of the vegetation here?" She threw a knife forward with her free hand, causing leaves ahead to fall down and her to catch them when passing by. Putting the handful in her mouth, her face then started to contort into an expression of disgust as she spat out the wild plant. "Okay, the food around here sucks! Don't try it, trust me!"

Thinking of more small topic options, she then went on to a more team bonding one. "So, where you guys from?" Thinking it rude to just not say anything after asking, she continued with, "me, I'm just from a small village in the middle of nowhereseberg. Not much to say about it other than it was a decent place to live, not much in way of luxuries but it was a modest enough community that it didn't need them. So how about you guys?"

After everyone had spoken there part on where they stood in the expedition, including their counter claims to Therity's points, the group had thus decided to leave the tent and go on their expedition towards the mountain. As they began to walk through the forest, Charlotte had been making marks in trees that they had passed by, so as to create at least some sort of way points that they could find how to get back out of the forest when they needed to leave. As she continued walking with the group, she stated the obvious simply by saying, "remain ever vigilant comrades, we do not know what kind of horrors exist in this forest and so we should be ready for any kind of danger that may come our way." Following her own advice, Charlotte kept her wits about her and continued to look around the forest as they were going forward towards the mountain.

Ander's pov:
With everyone saying that they should not wait for the most part. He headed out of the tent. He wondered if Therity would stay behind in the tent or would follow them. As they walked in the forest he thought about lighting a fire to see better, but thought better of it. Fire could attract unwelcome company. As he walked towards the mountain. He kept looking round keeping track of the direction they were heading and how long they were going. If they turned at any point he would track that too. He looked around to for any sign that something was there. He just keeping at the forest. He was always checking every direction as they walked. "So, what do you think we will find in this temple? He said in a whisper. He spoken low so that he was not herd by anyone other then those in the group. "I do not think we will find anything good." He kept a eye out for any sort of temple as he walked.

Sara's pov:
She did understand. "there is..." Her voice trailed off. She then watched as Thea Winced in pain The grabbed at the spot that was hurt. "Are you alight? Anything I can do?" Fear that she could have done this to Thea rushed over her. I should have stayed away from her sadness on her face. She wonder if training would help Thea. Did she just loose the only friend that she had in a manner of seconds? That would be her luck. Fire, death and misfortunate followed her where ever she went. She was now sad again I did this. I will forever be curse with the life of being alone? Maybe she should make a hole and craw into it. She watched Thea leave her. She did not blame her. It seemed like whoever she came in contact with she drove them away. She watched Thea go to dance. Dancing what was this there was nothing about this when she sign up on this mission. What kind of cruel joke was Evanora playing? She did not like it. She did not know how to dance. So she would not do it. Considering that the fairy ignored her when she came to this snow place. Why should she follow what they wanted now? Feeliing alone she had nothing left to do but to make a hole to craw into. So that is what she did she started digging into the snow.

 

Therity clenched her fists at the group's stupidity. She knew going out this late would be an awful idea. Why couldn't they see that? In particular, she narrowed her eyes at Ander's remark. Scared? Was he serious? Apparently, he was, which was mind boggling to Therity. I'm just trying to protect the lives of you dimwits, she raged silently, her eyes filled with the fury of the accusation. Normally comments like that wouldn't effect her, but the thought that some people would believe her to be so much of a coward as to abandon her own guild on such an important mission... Therity was out of the tent in a flash, making a point to be the first. Scared, huh? How ignorant. I haven't been scared since before I was in the military. She allowed the cold air to calm her nerves, before walking into the dark forest fearlessly.

As Charlotte had continued to walk through the woods, she noted that the group was keeping good pace and sticking together. She glanced back towards Therity, who seemed to be all to reluctant in order to follow the group. Nevertheless, it was a good thing she kept with them rather than sticking to her original plan. As they pressed forward through the forest, Ander had spoken up, to which she could only respond by saying, "well, it's almost a given that whatever is causing this curse is at the top of that mountain. And seeing as whatever is causing it is powerful enough to cast the eternal night sky over the entire island, we can tell that whatever it is, is probably dangerous. And while normally one would probably stick to the more stealthy and cautious approach," she looked to Gaius, and to a lesser extent Ra, "I feel we will not have that sort of luxury. But nevertheless, while I am expecting something dangerous, it's doubtful they will be able to overcome our strength." Charlotte said her response confident, simply because she had faith in the people she had fought Ezekiel with. They had all done their part then, and they were much stronger than they were when it happened.

 

Well, they were in the middle of a fight and her new friend was already asking questions one after another, trying to explain her life. Sure it would be easier to actually reply if there was time to write a message and a plastic man wasn't trying to plaster them. Either way, she would have to talk to Lucia later. For now, she just had to go and use Blizzard against the squeaky man.

Ander's pov:
As he walked he looked behind him there was Therity. She was such a hypocrite. She said she did not want to go but yet here she was. "We knew the risk when we sign up for the mission. We are no better out here then back in the tent. We are not any safer here then we would be in the tent. A tent is just cloth. It has no more protection then an ant. We have each other and weapons. We could be sleeping a bam we never wake up. Being proactive is good here. At lest here we have a fighting chance." His voice full of concern. She did not have to come with them if she did not want to. Her coming, she could be helpful. Perhaps he should thank her for coming. "Thank you." She turned and listened to Charlotte. "What ever is causing this curse we should not take likely." He thought about what charlotte said some more. "Any advantage we have other anything that we may encounter we should keep. An advantage it better then no advantage at all. Remember this thing could be anything causing the curse." He then thought some more. "This thing could be more powerful then Ezekiel. It clearly is powerful. This could only be a fraction of its power. what we are seeing now. It is unlikely but possible. We should keep the element of surprise. Just think about it. it is entirely possible Cal told them all about us if she is indeed captured. Which would meen they know we are coming just not when. surprise is our best weapon right now. We could take them out before they know were are there. Let not lose this weapon. How powerful was the thing? In theory it could be more powerful then every person in Sapphire Eclipse combined. If it was indeed this powerful why would it be wasting its time on such a insignificant thing such as a pointless island. Something is here it want but what or someone is using something powerful. But that brings the question why something so powerful would follow someone. This was of course if it did not have it own free will. This got him thinking what was causing the curse. A two headed dragon, a giant. Anything was possible. All this thinking. He guessed it was best that he not try to think about it. The possibilities were endless.

 

"My thoughts exactly." Dale agreed. They had all come to exactly the same conclusion that he had. Therity wasn't entirely wrong, however they had to move quickly for Cal's sake. This mission had the potential to make them or break them and a screw up by losing a guild member would certainly do the latter. At least, it would him. He couldn't afford to lose another guild member. He quickly overtook Therity, asserting his position as leader of the group and leading them towards the mountain. This time, no ice sculptures. We need to be on our guard. As far as I'm concerned this territory is as dangerous as you can get. Whatever it is, it's certainly dangerous. I don't believe it's anything of a creature's nature. No, this is an attempt by sentient beings, possibly outsiders or maybe even another tribe. This island is fairly isolated and it wouldn't surprise me if there was another, perhaps feral tribe out there in the wilderness. It wouldn't surprise me if that's why Moka's men couldn't reach. They'd probably have tried to seal it off. It would make sense, especially since they're doing something there. The only question in my mind is what, and to what purpose. Either way we're dealing with Wizards here and powerful ones. "I'm willing to bet that we're not fighting any sort of creature. I think our enemy is going to be some sort of wizard. I know not of any beast that could cause an effect like this. The only question is, whether we're dealing with outsiders, another tribe or defectors from Moka's clan. None of these would surprise me. However Charlotte raises a good point. I'm not sure what we'll find out in the wilderness here. So far the indigenous life hasn't seemed at all bred to hunting us, or the villagers. But that's all we've seen and now we're deeper in. Be very, very careful."



Alessia frowned at the fairy that had flown straight into her. She almost swatted it away, but by the time she did it had flown off and started dinging at the Nutcracker, for lack of any other way of expressing it. It sounded just like a series of tingling bells and whistles. It was unlike anything she had ever seen before. Meanwhile the Nutcracker dealt with that, she looked around the snow coated ground they had arrived at. It was beautiful here, that was for sure. Thea was building a snowman and talking to Sara. Everything looked relatively peaceful. And then Clara said something about dancing. I've never danced before. What am I supposed to do here...? Um, well. I guess I need to dance don't I? I wish I'd actually done something instead of just standing here obliquely because my RPer was away. I've missed out on some fun things. Tentatively, Alessia started to dance. She wasn't really sure how to do it, she just did. It started with just a couple of poorly balanced steps to start. She looked around at everyone awkwardly. Some people were clearly having some difficulty. Thea wasn't. She was fearlessly throwing herself into it. She looked like she was having fun, kicking up a bit of snow and giggling as she went. Well, if she can have fun with it, so can I! She began to step more confidently, in time to a rhythm she'd built up in her head. With each step she grew bolder and even added a little twirl into her dance. She smiled a little as she tried.
"Wow, this is actually fun." She said to herself, spinning again.

 

Drosselmayer's Mansion:

Jack's pov: Alessia had ingnored him probably for missions reasons. Alessia and Mizuki were the only two that had paided him any attention on this mission. Sara pretty much disagreed with what he had said. He woundered if they hated him because he was the only guy there. What was with this mission and how strange it was becoming. But this dancing took everything a threw it out the window. If nutcracker refused to dance he didn't see why he had to to. He picked up a snowball a threw it at Alessia hand missing her completely. If anything he would make a blizzard, snow guy dance for him if they were all forced to. It wouldn't surprise him. He then found his creation of a snowman he made along with the one that Sara had made. He tryed to move it lightly with areo. He ended up laughing out loud as he watched it. He saw it a few minutes later moving around strangly in place. He saw them basically falling to pieces. He saw both snowmen ploping back into a snow pile on the side of were they were. He became sad as he saw it do well nothing he wanted it to do. He wanted it to dance about and it ended up falling apart. (He couldn't make Oalf appear)

 

Well, this slide wasn't ending any time soon, so Ren figured he might as well get comfortable. He listened to Lucia's banter with amusement, and noted that it was a good thing that she didn't like tea since he didn't have any with him despite offering it. Although it would have been pretty hard to boil water while hurtling down this interminable tree slide. He glanced at Zwei, but the other man wasn't speaking much. Must be the quiet sort.

“I came from waaaay off in the east,” Ren responded to her last question. “I was living in a big city out there, not a particularly nice area, but it was home. When I got older though, I just needed a change, something different from what I was used to, so I journeyed for a few years. It must have been... hmm, twelve years? Yeah, twelve years since I left that place. Just been traveling around since then, seeing the world, meeting new people, and generally just enjoying life.”
He paused for a few moments, a calm smile on his face. Damn, when I tell it that way, it sounds like it was actually a good time. “Of course, I needed to pay my way while I was doing that,” he continued, “so I took on a few odd jobs, found out I was reasonably proficient with magic, and so when I was told about a nearby guild in one of the villages I passed through, I decided to give it a shot. And here I am!”
Ren finished the account of his journeys, waiting for any comments or questions Lucia or Zwei might have. Or maybe the latter would talk about his own story. That should be interesting.



Fucking fairies. They were now urging the group to dance with them, something which just irritated Mizuki even more. And on top of that, Clara suggested that humoring the fairies would somehow encourage them to help them get out of here. Whatever assumptions the girl made to reach this conclusion, Mizuki didn't want to hear them.
So, as far as she was concerned, Mizuki had two options open before her, neither of which was dancing. On the one hand, she could put the fairies heads on pikes until they told her what she wanted to know. That was a tempting option. The downside to this was that there were probably too many of them for her to take on. On the other hand, she could simply ask them what she wanted to know. She'd try that first, even though it meant she'd have to restrain herself and stay mostly polite.

She stepped forward to one of the fairies, holding up a hand to indicate that she wasn't accepting the invitation to dance. “Fairies, please listen to me,” she said in a raised voice, saying it firmly in a way that would attract their attention. “I and my companions need to find a way out of this place, and ultimately find someone called the sugar plum princess. Now, I'm sure you can help us with the former, so speak up if you will help. If you know anything about the princess, I'd like to hear that as well."

 

Caleb took the hit reasonably well, angling his body so that the magical flying boomerang sword of death barely scratched him. Thomas, however, hadn't taken the hit so well. Apparently, Thomas understood how a sword could come back like that even less than Caleb did; pretty impressive given it made no sense whatsoever. "Don't just stand there staring, we have people to save" Caleb called out. Taking a step back, Caleb spun around and hurled a potion at Thomas with full force, hoping to heal him and get him back on his feet but part of him honestly wanted to see the guy fall out of the tree and maybe knock some of that ego off of him.


Skadi found herself feeling exceptionally happy once she had progressed through the mouse hole. It was snow, and lots of it. Skadi loved snow, she always had, she just didn't see it very often. So, the moment it was suggested that they dance for the fairies to help them get out, Skadi felt the need to join in. She began twirling and dancing, very much enjoying the moment. There was a small part of her that was wondering how Clara had figured that dancing was the way to get the fairies to help, but that part of her was overriden by the part that was having fun. After a few minutes of dancing, she stopped, making a small snowball and tossing it at Thea playfully. It was then she noticed that Mizuki hadn't joined in on the dancing, in fact she had just plain refused to do it. Making a big ball of snow, Skadi threw it at Mizuki, causing it to hit the girl as Skadi laughed a little bit. "Oh lighten up Mizuki, just enjoy it and we'll be fine"​

 

Galuna Island

Ander's pov:
I'm willing to bet that we're not fighting any sort of creature. He was not so sure. The forest could hold any creature. Dale seemed nicer. Was the curse doing this to him? If it was he could not see a down side to it. It could just be that he was just not angry; best keep him this way as long as possible. The enemy is going to be some sort of wizard. "It is one powerful wizard then. I have never seen a wizard that was able to cast a curse spell this powerful, that is was able to effect so many on such a large scale. It is unheard of." He seemed to be talking from experience more than anything. "We could be fighting more than one person. If this is one person then this wizard could be more powerful than Ezekiel." It was more likely it was more than one person, but it was possible it was just one.
"Whatever it is I am sure we will see soon."

Drosselmayer's Mansion:

Sara's pov:
(she was teleported in to the movie frozen) She watched as her snowman may have came to life. Kind of. The snowman then fell apart. "Oalf?" Oalf was now gone. Who could have done such a thing? She looked around to see what had happened. It was jack that used a spell that destroyed it. She worked hard on that with Thea. What was his problem? Giving up on making her hole and made her way to Jack. "What is your problem? I knew the moment there was a sleep over that there would be a problem with a guy. There is only...." Her voice trailed off. She was frankly angry at him. She stopped talking as a snow ball flew inches from her. She grabbed a hand full of snow, made a snow ball and threw it at Jack's face. She looked around to see who had thrown the snow ball at her and it was Thea. "You are going to get some play." She smiled at the thought. She was always so happy, it must be nice. She then walked away from Jack and made her way to a snow bank. Forgetting about what he did. She then made several snow balls and began throwing them. She begin throwing them at almost everyone there. Forgetting for a moment what was going on because she was have so much fun. She counted the snowballs off as she threw them playfully at Silvia, Skadi, Alessia, Thea, Beucette, and finally the nutcracker. This could end up as a snowball fight. She smiled at the thought. She has not had this much fun in a long time. She guessed this was what happened when you get six girls together. She stopped throwing snowballs and started making a snow fort. If this was going to end up a snowball fight then she should get something for protection. What had happened to change the course of this she had no clue, but it was to late. The fairies would just have to deal. Everyone was having to much fun to care.
