"No! You don't understand!"Thea raised her voice. Her sobs thickened. The heat emitted from the body of the girl rose as she tried to avoid setting anything on fire, letting out the blue flames that she could feel growing under her skin. "I-I lost control and... I burnt everything! The people who attacked my parents, my parents, my home! I destroyed it all. I couldn't control my magic. Most of the world thinks I am dead. Ezekiel took me away before anyone found out what I did. I heard the news say they assumed I burned with everything else, no survivors." The girl recounted for the first time in a long time. She then turned to Skadi realizing that she had just yelled at the same girl who confided in her something painful for her and sat with her, actually tried to be nice to her.

A sudden realization hit she worked with Yana, she tried to make friends with Yana. Of course Thea knew something was a little messed up but she didn't realize she had destroyed a girls home and left her without parent. On top of that she had just yelled at the only person besides Evanora that attempted to be nice to her. As well as all of this Skadi actually told her the painful past she had. Not many would. Thea leaned over as she hugged Skadi trying to lower her temperature enough not to hurt Skadi. "I am sorry. Please don't hate me Skadi. Please." Thea begged as she clutched the woman's shirt and continued to cry into Skadi. Her body started shake. Thea felt so guilty and wished she could take her words back. She wanted to go back to being happy and innocent, and she would, she just needed time to distract herself.

Skadi simply hugged Thea back as the girl cried into her. "Things will be fine now, don't worry. Nobody hates you here. Here at Sapphire Eclipse, the past no longer hurts. It doesn't hurt because we're all fighting for a better future, one where nobody has to cry again" the ice mage said. It was surprising really. In the span of about ten minutes, Skadi had learned more about Thea than she did than any of the others, except for Gaius, Caleb and Silvia. She sat there for a moment more, just enjoying the peacefulness that it brought and wanting to reassure the young girl before her. Ezekiel had done some terrible things to be sure, and there was no doubt he had gotten what he deserved, but if he had taken care of this child as he had, brought her back from the brink of despair when so many would have abandoned her, maybe there was some good inside of him. Maybe.

    Ander's pov:
The last few moments with Calxiyn was strange. first she fell getting almost everyone around her. Was it a ploy for attention? If is was it worked. The boat did not move that much when they landed. This could be Ander though, he has been on boats before so this could be it. He should not worry about it. Calxiyn had then flew off by herself. That was dumb. Going off by your self on a unknown island was dumb infact he would not be serprised if she got captured. He looked around to see how he should talked to while they looked for the people. No one popped up in his mind right away. Gaius then came into his mind he did not know him that well so he should start there. He walked onto the boat were Gaius still was.

"you should join us." I am going to look for a river that ends at the ocean." All bodies of water went to large bodies of water so...If they found a river they could follow it to were people was.

She took one last look at Alessia. Around her neck was a locket. She reached around her neck were hers should be but it was misssing.

"Will things be the same." Will things stay the same?
Will I be forever cursed with a bow that has a mind of its own? Will i forever be locketless?
Will I forever be lost to all? Will I be this way forever? Am I always stuck to walk this path because of my past?
I can not alow myself to get close to any one. They could end up dead. I can not let that happen. I could not live with my self if there was another death caused by me. I will not those in this guild get close to me they may get hurt. There was sadness in her eyes now.

    "Sorry."
She then stood up from were she was and walked away. How could I let myself get so close to Alessia. I should have not it is better this way for her. At least this way she will live longer then with me in the picture.

Amanda's pov: Well that was kind of good Lucia didn't think she was a bother. "Interesting I'm actually not to sure what to think of all this" She really didn't know what else to say.

Jack's pov: People seemed to still be talking and he still needed to explain why he was sorry to Alessia when she became free to talk to. He felt as if this hole thing was his fault why did he have to say anything at all. Everything had stated with that nutcracker. He sat there waiting for Evanora to say something or anyone else for that matter to say something to him.

The clouds rumbled, thunder started to strike. A green fog moved across the sky. The villagers were watching the Princess, as her skating was ever so beautiful. She did a skaters spin, but as she did it, the torches started to go out. The moonlight was the only thing that shone Annika wasn't paying any attention to what was going on. The villagers looked around worried, and the music had stopped. From out of the sky, a giant Griffin swooped down and landed, it was carrying on it a man. The man was tall and in good shape, with dark hair and a goatee. He was dressed in brown and dark green and he was holding a magic wand. One eye was yellow, while the other was blue. Annika had finally stopped skating.

“Hmmm she is the most beautiful girl in the land.” He said, looking at Annika. “Though the girl beside her looks just as well, but she isn’t from here is she Griffin?” He laughed, looking over at Scarlett. He waved his scepter, and the torches light turned blue.
“So gorgeous, where have you been hiding?” He asked.

“Who are you?” Annika asked disgusted.

“Come on, you’re not serious.” The Wizard rolled his eyes.

“Sorry to burst your bubble.” She spat.

“Annika be careful.” Johanna urged her, standing at her side, ready for battle.

“Beautiful and feisty. Love it. Allow me to, introduce myself. Wenlock, your future husband.” He grinned like the Cheshire cat, doing a bow.

    “Husband?” She raised her eyebrow.

“Husband?!” Johanna said in an outrage.

“I’m offering you the once in a lifetime opportunity to be my bride.” He told her, taking out a ring.

    Annika laughed dryly. Your bride?”

"Alright everyone, dinner's ready!" She exclaimed.

The group ate dinner, it's up to you to figure out what kind of interacts you had with other characters during this time if anything specific. All the Guild Members were split into rooms, the girls being in one giant bedroom, and Jack next door getting a room all to himself.

All of your characters hear clanging, and it seems to be coming from downstairs.

~ Mission Information: Go investigate the noises downstairs. ~

She did not bother to go to dinner at all. She was not hungry, instead the feeling of unknown was in her. She stood by the window watching the snow fall.
At one point she herd Clara say something about rooms.
Wait we are staying the night oh no. There were what 7 girls and one guy. oh no there was a potential Thomas on this mission.
    oh...
This would totally suck if they were staying the night.
Then there was a sound of clanging behind her. What to do but to check it out.
She headed for the sound of the Clanging.

Dale sighed theatrically as he watched Calxiyn fly off, arms folded as she disappeared into the sky towards the mountain.
"Fool girl she's going to get herself hurt!" Dale cursed. He walked further up the beach towards the forest ahead. He looked back, staff in hand at everyone gathered. He gestured for everyone to follow him, his expression severe. It was time to get to work. They had a job to do and they had to do it. "Come along! We've got to find Calxiyn before she gets herself hurt or worse! And while we're at it, this civilisation that was mentioned as you suggested. It's a solid plan." With that, Dale strode impatiently into the green assuming the other idiots would follow him down the path. With a bit of luck Gaius will just get lost or something. I think that would be too much to ask of the gods considering I'm already hoping that Cal is fine. I don't want anyone to actually get hurt on this mission because otherwise then it really would have been a bad idea. The plan here is not to get anyone seriously injured. Even Gaius.

The forest was verdant and alive, buzzing with life. Birds fluttered by, their exotic cries ringing through the dense woods they travelled through. The path was little more than a hunter's track, a path beaten in by people walking along it and severing the vegetation along. So any civilisation can't be as advanced as Naliama that's for sure. These people are bound to be somewhat tribal, although not stupid. They must know of the outside world at least. As he walked, he quietly admired the various different animals he saw as they walked. There was a particularly fascinating kind of bird, with a large beak and a deeper squawk than most birds. It was a kind of green colour from what he could tell in the light slashed with red along the wings. Not a bad looking creature. He began to casually form a piece of ice in his hand into the shape of that bird. I'll give this to Caliborn later. I know he likes collecting these things. His distraction kept him entertained as he walked along the path, shaping the intricate details in his palm with a careful, patient eye but always keeping an eye on where he was going. He didn't break his stride once, stepping neatly over tree roots and scurrying animals with little notice to their existence.

Eventually, they stepped out into a clearing. It was a huge clearing, but he couldn't see much for a fundamental reason- There was a large wooden palisade wall in the way, upwards of 20ft high. He looked up. For a tribal group, these people are quite capable builders. That said, when you've got nothing to do for this long I suppose it makes sense that they/d build this wall so high. I wonder how many of them died doing it, or maybe they just magicked it into existence. Dale stowed away his creation in a little satchel at his belt that he kept for storing these and looked up. Well this is the gate. Better call.

"Greetings! Guild Members at the gate!" Dale called. Now answer your bloody door.

"That sounds rather odd." Alessia said, as she relaxed leaned against one of the walls with a pillow against her back in the bedroom. Dinner had been fun. She had just talked to people and tried to talk to Clara as much as possible. She had also attempted to apologise again and hoped that she knew that she didn't mean to do it. Alessia talked to pretty much everyone with the exception of Thea and Skadi. Thea because well... She didn't want to say anything offensive over dinner and Skadi because of how rude she had been to her earlier. Regardless, other than them it was just fine and she had got over most of her guilt. Alessia had hoped that now would be the time to talk things out with Thea and Skadi however... Those noises were odd. Suspicious even. She didn't trust sounds like that. It was too loud and frankly it sounded like something was happening, something unexpected.
"I'm going to go find out what that noise is." Alessia declared, standing to her feet and rebuckling her blade. It was kind of annoying and if anything she would get them to be quiet. She left the room and went to investigate.

Rather than go ice skating as they were probably supposed to be doing, Ren had kept off the ice. Well off the ice. He didn't know how to skate, and as far as he was concerned, walking on what was essentially water was dangerous and unnatural. He wasn't going to be taking that chance.
And then all of a sudden, there was thunder, and green fog, and moonlight, and a giant frickin griffin landing down beside him, displaying it's glorious wings and a flurry of movement and wind. Oh, and there was also some guy with a bad mustach. He was weird.

Ren moved closer to where the man, called Wenlock much to his misfortune, and listened incredulously to him declare that he was the princesses future husband. Annika's and Johanna's reactions were priceless, and by the time Wenlock reached the word bride, Ren had burst into laughter.
After a few moments of this he stopped, wiping a tear from his eyes.
“Oh, god, that was hilarious. You're part of the entertainment, right?” Ren asked him. “Oh, you're not?! Well, let me tell you something. A guy like you, he isn't going to get any girls,” he confided to Wenlock. “You need to spruce up your appearance man. That beard? Pathetic, and the knot is just a no go. If you're going to have a beard, grow it out, and braid it like a real man. And the mustache, well, it looks like spaghetti got stuck there after your lunch.” Ren pointed over to the griffin. “This your ride? I'll just let you know, they have terrible mileage. Unicorns are where it's at.”
Smiling at Wenlock, Ren reached out and patted his shoulder. “We all make mistakes like this at times, I guess.” Suddenly his face and entire demeanor changed into a deadly seriousness. His grip on Wenlock's shoulder got tighter, and he stared into the other mans eyes emotionlessly. “Now, what the fuck are you still doing here? Go.”

Mizuki had not been at dinner. She didn't like eating with other people, and besides, not even most of the other guild members even knew she was here, let alone any of the hosts. And Mizuki was happy enough it being that way. She wouldn't have to give them any attention if they didn't come seeking for it.
Instead she had found out where their bedroom was from a frightened servant, and spent the evening there, pretending to already be asleep when the other guild members came up. She wasn't sleeping though. She was constantly listening to the sounds around her, both to the others in the bedroom, and the servants softly treading down the hallways outside.

The clanging wasn't even hard to hear. Mizuki stayed put for a few moments at first, listening to figure out where it was coming from and perhaps what it was. Eventually she determined that it was somewhere downstairs, and that if she wanted to know what it was she'd have to go and find out.
Evidently another guild member had thought much the same, she had already made her way out of the room. Mizuki left the room close after her, Alessia was the name she grudgingly remembered. She walked quietly, not alerting Alessia to her presence but certainly not hiding it. Mizuki didn't want to speak to her, or feel the need to answer her should she talk. It was unnecessary.

Jack's pov: He really didn't feel like eating much. He ate a few things, it also turned out he had a room for himself. So he would end up alone. He then herd the sounds and headed towards them. He will have to talk to Alessia sooner or later. He felt bad for her.

While Charlotte had made the plan to simply search around the beach in order to keep themselves in easy view for their flying comrade and probably be a good start on the civilization, Dale had decided to completely ignore this and blindly charge into the forest. Charlotte had realized then when she thought that Gaius and Dale were similar, apparently their ego stroking tendencies were not the only thing that they had in common. As she walked alongside everyone in the forest, she was being ever vigilant to her surroundings to see if there was any sort of sign of civilization that could be nearby, though she then looked to Dale and started to wonder what made him have such a high ego as a leader. After all, in addition to putting themselves in the place that they would most likely get lost in and the place where Calxyin would be the least likely to spot them he wasn't even paying attention to his surroundings...just...an ice sculpture. While she continued to be vigilant and ponder on this, her question was answered when there was suddenly a large gate that impeded the groups progress. As she walked forward, when Dale had told them to gather, she simply whispered, "this boy has the devil's luck."

While some of them were ice skating, Zwei had chosen to stay off of the ice. Mainly because he didn't have a single clue on how to ice skate, but he also didn't want to attempt and end up busting his ass on the ice. So yeah, very good reasons for him to stay off of the ice. Then out of nowhere a green fog had moved across the sky as someone (An ugly mother fucker) had arrived. The first thing that Wenlock had declared was that Annika was to be his bride. Reactions aside, Wenlock definitely wasn't the kind of guy who could waltz up to any girl, declare them to be his bride and have it work. Ren was the first to approach the man and basically talk him down. The question is, how would he respond. Probably not well he'd imagined.

Despite being the first person to offer to help her up (Therity doesn't count for she healed her and that's it) Calxiyn pretty much ignored him. Gee thanks. The pink haired girl then somehow turned her weapon into a glider of sorts and flew into the sky. Probably not the best of ideas given A) How little about this island they knew. For instance if they had some way of shooting down things in the air, she'd be screwed. And B) She just twisted her ankle after falling off a boat. Decided to fly after that was not the best of ideas. Still she'd already taken off and there wasn't much that they could do about it.

Charlotte had a good idea on searching the beach first so that Calxiyn could find them, assuming she didn't get herself injured while she was flying, but Dale had already ventured into the forest. So much for that. Veilen simply shrugged his shoulders as he followed behind Dale through the forest up to a large wooden gate. It was a good thing that there were in a clearing, otherwise their flying friend might be a little bit screwed if this area wasn't visible from the sky. "What would they need a gate this sized for?" He wonder aloud. If it was to keep people out then take made since, however if it was to keep people in well Bobo got out so there that.

    Ander's pov:
He stood there waiting for Gaius to say something. When Dale, being as dumb as Cal went and started to go into the forest, with complete disregard of the group mates safety. It would be much simpler to find a river and follow it to the wherever the people were. He had to run to catch up to them. It was follow Dale and get lost or go by himself to the people and get lost. At lest with Dale the group would be lost together. That was better than being lost by your self. As they walked he keep track of the direction they were going and the surrounding they past. If forever reason that they had to head back he would be able to find his way back. He thought about Dale. Dale was full of sun shine and lollypops and beaming rainbows everywhere. Not. Then they arrived at a clearing. It was a large clearing. There a few feet away was a large wooden wall and was quite high. Dale must be the luckiest person alive not to get lost.
Then Dale said they were there. How dumb can you be Dale, he thought. If there are people here and they want to attack you, you just messed up the element of surprise. They probably don't know a guild is coming to help them. If indeed this is who we are to help. "
That gate is to keep something in or something out." He hoped it was he did not have a preface both was bad.

Wenlock was utterly disgusted and infuriated by Hasu. How dare anyone talk to him like that. "Hahahahaha. Oh I see. Do you think that's funny? A joke perhaps? My my, I didn't know you hired clowns for guards, your Highness." He started to laugh, talking animatedly with each word.

“Get away from her!” The King shouted. “You let her be.” They had just rode in on a carriage, probably realizing that everyone had left the Castle.

“Well well well, how long has it been, 16, 17 years old friend. How’s royal life these days pops.” He smirked, walking forward at the king. His grin was disgusting.

“Leave us alone Wenlock.” The King shouted, drawing his sword.

“Please, please spare her.” The Queen begged.

“You’re going to wish you left her alone!” Johanna shouted.

“Are you, telling me what to do? Your highnesses, Guild Wizards. PF.” He laughed. “Have you forgotten what happened to your other daughter?”

    “Other daughter?...” Annika asked.

“Go Wenlock, now!” The King shouted. “You already have a wife.”

“I did." He turned to Annika. "3 in fact, one more beautiful then the next. But they all were just… so annoying." He smiled, his voice dripping with enjoyment. "Time to move on. And look, here’s the lucky girl.”

“I don’t think so!” Annika told him.

“ENK WRONG. But you get one more chance." He told her, putting his hand on her shoulder. "Petrify them!” He yelled, lifting his scepter into the air.

“No! Stop!” Johanna cried. She successfully protected the Guild Members, but ended up turning to soild stone, along with the King and ueen. He then went on the Petrify the subjects of the Kingdom.

Johanna! You can’t do this!” Annika cried, clenching her fists tightly, her voice started out strong but now was meek, seeing the power that he beheld.

“Funny, I just did.” Wenlock laughed as-a-matter-a-factly. “So here we are, the bonus round! Marry me and I’ll set them all free! Or you can all join them.”

Thomas skated around the rink with surprising grace as he attempted to impress everyone he passed. Skating was one of his hidden talents, as a young boy he loved to skate whenever he had got the chance. He winked at the princess on one of his passes by her skating in circles seeing as Dawn never accepted his invitation.

Not long into his skate the sky turned grey and a man landed on the back of a Griffon telling the princess that she was going to be his bride. Thomas simply skated over to the man and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Look buddy I know you must be desperate and all and she IS very beautiful, but that isn't the way you go around picking up chicks. You don't just tell them they they are to fall in love with you. You have to complement them and impress them, take it one step at a time slowly. You don't seem like that bad of a guy, I think if you take your time you will find some way to work your way into a woman's heart, but this isn't it." Thomas explained.

The king and queen soon ran out and Thomas listened to the conversation. Three wives? This guy must be some kind of a god, that or he kidnapped them. Yeah the second one had to be it. If that guy was able to legitimately get three wives he would have been able to get a hundred by now. The man then proceeded to turn the king and queen to stone.
"See there is your problem. You have to earn the parents love and respect not turn them to stone. And look at the beautiful figure you destroyed doing that Johanna's skin was always so nice, almost glowing. Tsk Tsk. I can't let that stand. Princess you might want to stand back and watch a real man at work." Thomas stated as he grabbed his gun from his back and prepared for a fight.
Thea sat with Skadi until her tears dried and dinner was announced. She felt horrible for what she said to her, but Skadi wasn't mad. Instead she just held her, something that no one had done for a while, not since her parents died. Through dinner Thea stayed quiet letting Silvia and Skadi talk occasionally joining their conversation.

By the end of the night she was tires and ready to curl up in her bed on the floor to sleep when something was heard.
"What was that?" Thea asked the group getting up. She heard someone say they were going to check it out. She decided it might be best if she went as well, she knew no one should go alone and though she was young, she was strong. Her power was weakened after her upset, she used too much energy but she still could do something. Thea got up rubbing her tired eyes ready to go.
Silvia was relieved when dinner was called. Dinner was good. She got to talk to the new girl and Skadi more. Silvia was no longer the youngest, that was a relief, but Thea had an innocence that she felt far beyond despite only being two years older. After dinner they were settling in bed when noises where heard. Silvia looked to the other girls for guidance. She wasn't about to do anything without being told.

Scarlett was about to freak out on Johanna for not realizing how much Dale cared about her, but it looks like they had other problems. This Wenlock guy randomly appeared, called her and Annika beautiful (ew back off dude) and suddenly turned people to stone. Well shiiiiit. She stepped in front of Annika protectively as she saw Wenlock put his hand on her shoulder.

In one swift motion, Scarlett grabbed the creeps wrist and twisted it effortlessly, shoving his hand back towards him. (Technically there is no direct hits so lets just say this was her plan of how things were supposed to go.)

"Bonus round my ass." Scarlett snarled, glaring at Wenlock. "You look here bud, you can't just march right on in here, call a few chicks beautiful, and freaking turn people to stone." She was completely pissed. Each word shot from her mouth like a dagger and her wicked red hair shimmered as her head shook. "So, I suggest you back off for one. Me and Annika are soooo out of your league anyway. And second, I suggest you turn those people back before I make you hurt in places you didn't even know you could feel pain."

Wenlock was utterly flabbergasted at Thomas and Scarlett. He raised his staff. "I'll show you to talk to me like that, pesky little-"

“Grab on!” A voice yelled. Out of the sky was a beautiful pink pegasus with a jeweled crown, and other Pegasus’ coming behind her to aid the Guild Members.

Annika jumped on. “Come on!” She yelled to the group. They were surprised to see that Wenlock stayed put.

“Don’t chase her or them, Griffin. Women chase me. You’ll be back Princess! And so will your little Guild Mates! I’ll give you..." He pondered it for a second. "Three days before my spell becomes unbreakable! Marry me by then or they stay like this forever, and forever is a very long time.” Wenlock shouted, his voice nasal but dripping with taut as he talked animatedly.

Lucia had looked onward as some pretentious dude had flown down from the sky, proclaiming himself to be some sort of husbando playa man with all of the waifus across his harem. But seriously the dude was some sort of creepy, some sort of ugly, and just some sort of weird in general. She could only nod in response to the fashion pointers that Hasu had pointed out to the man, Wenlock, and was a bit on the shocked side when his face had gone deathly serious. It seemed to be an even harsher face than the one he had used against the king and queen earlier. It was at this point that the Wenlock dude seemed to completely lose his temper and turn everyone, but them, into stone. Almost like he was some sort of warl- oh, now his name made sense. Almost hilarious in hindsight.

It was at this point that the group started to get pretty confrontational with him, and while she definitely wanted to bash in this pasty face hetero-chromatic ****** taco's...face...in, she knew that they had absolutely no way to fight him if he was allowed to do anything to them. However, he wasn't able to do anything to them as some horses with wings came out of fucking nowhere to save the day and offer them a way out of there. Lucia was thankful that they were there to get them out of this situation, however she saw that a few other people were still ready and willing to start a fight right here and now.
"Gu-guys! We gotta get out of here now! I mean, a chance like this isn't going to present itself again and we have absolutely no plan on dealing with being turned to stone almost instantly and you can't really do much day saving when we're all statues, so because you aren't backing down I'm sort of sorry about having to do this." As Lucia finished her statement, she ran towards Thomas from behind, quickly spun around so that her front was facing his, and then brought her arm hard and fast towards his waist. From this position she pushed forward, hoisting him over her shoulder and started fireman carrying him straight towards a matching purple Pegasus. As soon as he was deposited onto the horse, it flew after Annika's pegasus. With the look of death in her eyes, Lucia said, "now all of you better get your asses on these flying ponies or so help me I'll drag each and everyone of you out of here." After Lucia was sure that everyone had gotten onboard she too flew after Annika as well.

Amanda's pov: She got on her pegasus, she couldn't believe right after she said Pegasus they showed up. "Lets go Ren" she said shyly. She then flew into the air after everyone else.

Caleb hadn't been sure what to do during the entire situation. He hadn't been sure whether to attack Wenlock or try to help the others escape, and because of that people had been turned to stone. An entire kingdom, Johanna, and there would be more to come if they didn't escape soon. And once again, I couldn't save them. What kind of guardian can't protect people? A horrible one, that's what. Maybe I still can though, he thought to himself.

He took a few steps forward, making sure to avoid stepping onto the ice rink as he did so. Unsheathing his blade, he glanced quickly to his side. "Thomas, people seem to think you're an idiot, but I disagree. There is a method to your madness, I think, and you seem to be a very courageous guy. Now is your chance to prove people wrong. I couldn't save Levi from Ezekiel, I couldn't save Johanna or those other people here, but there's still hope for you. Get everyone out of here, get them as far away as possible" he called out to Thomas. This is where things got interesting. He had to buy time, more importantly he had to draw Wenlock's fire away from the others. He raced over towards Wenlock, running as fast as he was able. However, he'd only gotten a couple of steps before he felt someone grab the back of his shirt and hoist him up onto the pegasus.

"No, you don't understand! I have to do something!" Caleb shouted down from on top of the pegasus. He would have continued, but the look on Lucia's face told him that he wasn't going to be allowed to try. He considered leaping off of the pegasus and trying to attack again, but it was pointless now; if he drew Wenlock's fire now, everyone else would have a good chance of being hit aswell. With a huge sigh, the guardian hung his head in shame, defeated.

Skadi hadn't said a whole lot during dinner. Things seemed to be awkward between her and the rest of the group after she'd openly defended both Ezekiel and Thea, but she didn't regret it. She'd done what she thought was right and she stood by it. After dinner, she hadn't gotten much sleep. There was a lot on her mind. Memories of what Yana did to her still lingered, as well as the look on Levi's face before he, well, lost his face and everything else. The girl shuddered. She'd never forget that.

She was brought back to her senses by the sounds of clanging downstairs. While it didn't sound like anything unusual, it would certainly make it harder to get to sleep than it already was. Standing up and letting out a yawn, the ice mage decided to follow Alessia's idea and investigate. "I have no idea what that sound was, it was probably nothing. Still, we won't be getting anymore sleep while it's going" she said. Taking a step forward, she turned around to look behind her. "So, what're you waiting for? Lets go beat up whoever's stopping us from sleeping" she suggested. Did she actually say that? She hung around Gaius far too much, she'd have to work on that.

Alastor sat up. He was outside of a strange building, but what had happened? A few moments later, his memory fixed itself. Ezekiel, the war, the attack on Sapphire Eclipse. Everything returned. He had failed Magus Ascension. However, more importantly, he found himself wondering what had happened to the others. Slowly the man shakily got to his feet and began the long walk towards what had once been the guild hall of Magus Ascension.

What he found was not what he had expected. Damage could be seen all around the guild hall, in fact he was somewhat surprised that the place was still standing. As he walked, he became aware of his foot standing in something soft. How unusual. Looking down, he appeared to have stood in a pile of sand. No, not sand, it was far too dark. Ash. He'd stood in a pile of ash. "Well, I did warn them about Ezekiel" he said. Disrespectfully, he decided he didn't want the ash around, so he kicked it a few times and pushed the majority of it to the entrance, causing it to be scattered to the wind.

He proceeded to search the majority of the guild hall. He spent quite a while looking, but to no avail. Everyone was gone. He'd never cared much for Yana, her methods were far too unpredictable to rely on, and Orpheus was useful but a little sadistic as well as overconfident, so he had gotten them into more than one problem there. Then there was Thea. The little girl with so much power, but no control over it. She was naive, but if she got serious about things then her enemies often struggled. She was his favourite though. Thea reminded him very much of the way Alastor's own younger sister was before her death. A look of anger overtook Alastor's usually calm face. He'd lost them all, and there was no chance of getting any of them back.

Although, maybe not all. As he entered the next room, he saw a familiar person laying on the ground, body burned quite severely but still showing signs of life. The rising chest was slow, but it was there. Walking over and crouching on the ground, Alastor held his hands over the body and allowed healing magic to course through Orpheus' veins. Just what had happened here?

Burns...had Yana done this? Had Thea? No, both of them were too loyal to Ezekiel to ever betray him. If Orpheus was back, that meant either he'd succeeded, in which case the Sapphire Eclipse guild hall wouldn't have been there, or he'd failed. That would explain it. Like Alastor, he too had failed. Magus Ascension had fallen, Ezekiel was presumably dead, and there was nobody else around to carry it on. And yet, Alastor hadn't given up. They'd taken what little joy the magician had left in his life. He would return, and this time there would be no holding back. He would have to build up a force of his own, but he would get his revenge. First the guild emblem needed to go, then he would have to make a start. For they had taken his little sister, and he would not rest until each of them lay dead. He spoke gently to the man on the ground before him, watching the healing magic working.

"Orpheus, you will not die here. I have need of you yet, necromancer. You should be thrilled, for I'm going to give you something you no doubt desire; the chance to create as many corpses as you wish, starting with Sapphire Eclipse"
