The great bellow of the champion had sent Veilen back quite a bit. Not far enough that he would've been removed from the battle, but far enough for him to crash into a wall. "Geez, that's smart." The impact had left his vision slightly impaired, but it didn't last a long time. So once his vision was back to how it was suppose to be, he saw that Orpheus was still hiding in that cloud if his as well as a now green Gaius leaping in there. Instead of questioning why Gaius was green, though he had a few guesses, he charged up a thunder spell and sent it towards Orpheus. Least he assumed that it was going towards him.

Veilen used Thunder on Orpheus​

 

"Alright, we should get back." Calxiyn said. "It's hardly safe here." She threw her Keyblade up into the air, and it turned into her Keyblade Gilder. She stumbled over to Levi's lifeless body, and tried to pull him as best she could over to the Gilder.

"Thank goodness you're not awake, or that might have been painful." She muttered to herself, trying to lift him onto the Gilder by herself. It hovered to her as the group walked.

~ Guild Hall ~

The palace once filled with thousands of lanterns floating in the air now seemed dark and gloomy. The tables were moved out of the way and no longer there, instead there was an empty hall filled with crisis management supplies. Hospital beds from the Hospital Wing were everywhere, filled with other members of the Guild and those of citizens caught in the attack. The through skylight only showed the dark clouds overhead, and was no longer filled with the sunny sky or starlight. Though the Guild Hall was once stunning, adorned with Golds and Silvers, with Trees and Vines of Gold and Silver as well, now, it was wilting, and the beautiful Castle that was once the Guild Hall, was broken, with damage done to every corner.

Evanora sat in her throne at the head of the table where they had held the Celebration. To her left and right, a chair for each S Class Member, all decorated in a different way. But they were all empty, just like Evanora.

"Welcome back." She said, as Calxiyn, Ander, Amanda and the newer one, Levi came into the room. "You have been successful. Congratulations." She sighed. "But alas one of you is injured." She said. She didn't even have to get up, she looked at Levi and he was healed. "When Dale comes inside you 5 will give me a full report." Evanora told them. "After that you may retire to your rooms, but I suggest you stay here in case of an attack."







Cassandra smiled as she saw some of the Guild Members return, though there was only one she was boarding with. She worried about Charlotte, easily her favorite out of the many Guild Members. They shared more then just a fighting spirit, but she already felt they had a lot in common. "Our brave heros... let more return."




Mikasa was the only S-Class Member who was able to move around, not because of her being able to walk, but rather the Maneuver Gear she had on let her check on things around the Guild. Though she was going back and forth between her fellow S-Class Members and Evanora, she now sat at the foot of Caliborn's bed. "I can't just sit here..."

 

“Bloody hellfire, my head hasn’t hurt that bad since I last went out on the town.” Edric said, rubbing his head. He sat up, looking at the medical cot he found himself in. “Wow. That bad huh? I don’t even remember what happened does anyone else remember because I sure as hell don’t.” Groaning with the exertion, Edric pushed his legs off the bed and tried to stand up, the critical word being tried. Upon receiving the full, fairly extensive weight of Edric Storm, his legs gave out from underneath him and he collapsed face first on to the floor.
“Ah bugger!” He exclaimed. He tried pushing himself up on to his feet again, but to no avail. “Er, can someone give me a hand here? I’m not quite strong enough to get up myself yet. And can ya bring me a beer while you’re at it!” Edric watched Mikasa with her maneuver gear and frowned.
"Now that's just cheating." He grumbled.



Caliborn watched Edric fall over like an idiot and chuckled a little bit at the sight.
“Edric my friend, you should probably be a little more careful with yourself than that. We just faced a fairly powerful being, I’m amazed we’re all waking up this early.” Caliborn chided gently. Caliborn looked at the room speculatively. Impressive. He managed to take us all out. I’m amazed. Had he not caught us all off guard like that I believe we could have defeated him. I wonder how much of his energy it took… Hopefully a lot of it. If we’re lucky he wasted so much energy on us that our less powerful guild mates will have no problems taking him down.
“Mikasa, I know you don't want to just sit there and do nothing, but we have to heal up and rest. You won't do any good going out there and getting yourself hurt.” Caliborn said in that quiet, calm voice of his, placing a comforting hand on her's.



Everything was fine outside. It looked under control. As he watched, he observed Calxiyn's team returning, bringing with them Levi and Ander. He should probably tell Evanora about it, considering that they were heading back and everything looked fine out here. The team was handling things. Besides, Evanora could deal with Leviathan. As much as he'd like to do it himself, he remembered what he had said. It wasn't Levi's place to punish Ander's betrayal, and likewise it wasn't his place to punish Leviathan's bad behaviour. He'd rather get that sorted sooner rather than later after all. He walked back just behind them and arrived just after they got in through the door. He took a quick look back- He'd be out soon. Evanora had just finished asking them for a report. Good. As he approached, he noticed Mikasa gliding over and taking a seat on Caliborn's bed. Most interesting... He came over to Evanora and took a seat.
"Evanora, the report is as follows. I'll need these guys to detail some of the incident I'm about to report because I didn't know what was said, or indeed the name of the attacker. From my vantage point, I watched them take down two waves of enemies in an efficient, reasonable style. They were then engaged by a female attacker, who appeared quite young. You may have seen me bringing her in earlier. If you want I'll show you where I put her. She arrived, and immediately Ander stood between the rest of the group and halted their efforts at attacking for reasons unknown. Then, Leviathan here took it upon himself to attack his own guildmate and knocked him out, only for the attacker to proceed to do the same to him shortly afterwards. Concerned for the safety of Amanda and Calxiyn and the success of the mission, I intervened severely wounding the enemy and allowed Amanda and Cal to finish her off, which they did. Following that, for reasons I won't discuss in present company I brought her inside for medical attention and potentially taking a new path." Dale recounted. He folded his arms and leaned back against the chair once he had finished the report.

 

The fight seemed to be going well for them, but Orpheus had summoned more undead. They didn't seem like they would prove to be overly troublesome to eliminate, but when one attacked Gaius, things took a turn for the worse. A disease from it spread throughout his body in a matter of seconds. He was no, in essence, undead. It was possible that defeating Orpheus would cure this condition, as he was the source. However, until such time, Gaius was somewhat unreliable. He attacked random targets, unable to reason which was friend. "Your presence here stains the very earth you walk on! I will purify this land, and purge you from it! When you are defeated, you can return to Ezekiel and tell him who it was that sent you back in defeat!" Planting his staff into the ground, Ra shot a flurry of lightning bolts from the tip of it at the undead champion. The excess energy would hit Orpheus as well, but the longer they left that alive, the more dangerous it would become.

Guild hall



Ander's pov:
They reached the guild hall. Ander found a seat.
He sat a far a possible from the group guild mates.
Evanora asked what happened. There was not much to say.
Then Dale came in saying the events the came before.
He had tried the same thing Dale did to bring the girl to the guild.
Was it still possible to save everyone he came across of were some people just not savable.
He would be kind of made if it was ok for Dale to try and do what he tried to do and everything was ok and peachy if he did it.
He sat there saying nothing.
The key around his neck he was staring at. The key had a soft low purple glow. The light from the key fading.
The look of sadness on his face.
Dale would not understand him just like the rest.
He had to say he has not meant a single person in the guild that even like saving people like he did.
Everyone so far was all about the battle.
Dale was probably no different.
Dale seemed like the type that enjoyed fighting.
The look sadness on hi face got deeper.
Saving people was it possible or would it just be a unanswered question like the rest.
He felt so alone.
He came to this guild to help people and he could not even do that.

 

As soon as Leviathan's strength returned, he sat up on one of the hospital beds. He looked at the Guild Mistress, who was talking to Dale. Though he may have been incapacitated, he knew for a fact that he was the bad guy in the situation. He had attacked one of Sapphire Eclipse's guild members. Great. Way to kick himself out when he hasn't officially joined. He sighed, getting up. He soon noticed that he wasn't carrying his flail. He looked to the side of the hospital bed, his flail inactivated on the nightstand. He picked it up, and spun it in his fingers before putting it in the sheath it usually sits in on his back. As he did, he instinctively touched part of his back, then he walked up to the thrones where Dale and Evanora were. He stood tall, with the slight glare/unhappy smirk on his face. His eyes were unreadable, hidden by a shadow of shame. He stayed silent, waiting for his judgement.

 

Evanora was surprised at Dale's report. You could tell she was considering her options. "Ander did what he thought was right, but put the Guild in danger." She said. "Levi tried to protect the Guild, but at the expense of another." Evanora told them. "Every villain is a hero in their own mind." Her voice was calm and smooth, her dark hair falling over her eye. "Who am I to pass judgement on those who had good intentions. If you believe what you did was right, and Guilt has not consumed you, then maybe it was truly the right choice. If guilt eats you up inside from what you have done, that is punishment enough. For a guilty heart is worse then any punishment I could ever give." She said, her words filled with passion though her face was solemn. ​

 

Leviathan could not believe his ears. His light blue eyes flashed to
Evanora's own, realizing that this was a warning. He gave a curt nod, then took two steps back before about-facing. He walked through the guild hall, which was prepped for war. He sat in a nearby stool, only able to wait.

Ander's pov:
Ander was a little surprised with the turn of events.
Ander got up and walked round aimlessly walking until he found himself in the med bay thst was in the guild hall.
Sit lay on a bed was someone who he meant before at the guild meeting when he joined but did not see him sence. (Caliborn)
On the foot of his bed sat Mikasa oh no not her.
He then felt like he was interrupting something.
He slightly wondered if he should try and heal him.
The look of sadness on his face.
"need some help?" he thought
He was afraid the answer would be no so did not ask.
After what happened he would not be surprised.
Then he spotted Edric on the floor
He used Aero to lift him gentally and put him softly back on the bed.

 

After Lucia had let her knives fly free and go towards their target, she was surprised to see that the attack was so successful. However, Yana seemed to then do some weird magic thing only to hit them hard (or like, not really but we'll pretend it did) with a massive fire surge. After the attack had passed, Lucia was barely hanging on, and she knew that their foe was most likely not going to hold on much longer either. After all, she had taken a **** ton of attacks as well. And so, she then let her knives fly once more in a regular attack towards the bitch

Justice. Quick Blitz. Orpheus. Also, gonna see if I can tank hit for party if Gaius randomly hits a party member.

 

Gaius used Cure on Velien. It healed 10 of his HP.
Velien used Thunder on Orpheus. It did 5 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 15. It did 7 damage to surrounding enemies.
Thomas used Fire on Orpheus. It did 3 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 23!
Ra used Thunder on Champion 2. It did 6 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 21! It did 10 damage to surrounding enemies.

Charlotte​

used Quick Blitz on Orpheus. It did 3 damage, but with Strength, Speed and Weapon it did 17!

All together, the group did 86 damage to Orpheus, 28 damage to Champion 2, and 17 damage to the Familiar.

Orpheus' defense reduced 11 damage.
Champion 2's defense reduced 1 damage.
Familiar's defense reduced 2 damage.

Orpheus summoned a Minion.
Orpheus used Corruption on a Minion and Charlotte. It did 4 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it would do 16! It will last 3 turns.

Charlotte's​

Orpheus summoned a Champion.
Orpheus used Life Tap on Champion 3. Orpheus restored 40 HP.
Orpheus used Dark boon on Champion 2. It increased the Minions health by 6 HP, and increased each stat by 5.

Familiar​

used Bite on Ra. It did 1 damage, but with Strength and Weapon it did 4.

Ra's defense reduced 0 damage.

Champion 2 used Decimating Smash on Thomas. It did 7 damage, but with Strength and Weapon it did 27. The damage wouldn't effect Thomas till the next turn.

Minion used Dark Firaga on Velien. It did 10 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 18!

Velien's defense reduced 0 damage.

Jack's pov: Yana was strange one, at lest she didn't attack him. He used thunder on her.

Amanda's Pov: Part of her wanted to give Levi a peace of her mind an other wanted to pass out, she found darkness coming so tired and hurt she fell asleep/knocked out.
She hoped Levi got what was coming to him. She fell asleep/knocked out in med bay (area)

 

Alastor was pleasantly surprised with the abilities of the group he was against. They wouldn't be pushovers. Still not enough to defeat him if he played his cards right, but they would put up a bit of a fight for a while, and that would allow Alastor to test himself more. "Well, I'm surprised you're still standing. Many people would have given up there and then. It won't do you any good though, eventually you will all fall to me" the dark magician said, before using dark magic attack deciding to step things up a little bit. Using all his knowledge of magic, Alastor's body began glowing with a magical aura, before two wings of pure black magical energy with green skulls on the front of them appeared on his back, putting him into a much stronger form.

Once the transformation had completed, he could feel the magic flowing inside of his body, the power surging through his veins. Acting swiftly, he dashed over to Silvia, the one that had healed before, and leaped into the sky. Combining the elements of thunder and gravity, he began crashing towards the girl at a terrifying speed, slamming into her at full force as he landed one solid punch to the girl's stomach, electricity surging through the girl's body.

Not stopping there, Alastor then turned his attention to Zwei, the boy that had gone down but quickly got back up. It was time he stayed down. He raced over towards his opponent, and as he did so both his palms gathered a swirling energy in them; a combination of ice and wind. The moment he got in front of Zwei, he thrust both palms forward, slamming them into his target as he used his Freezing Wind ability.

Next was his recovery. Alastor was no stranger to battle, and though he wanted to continue attacking he knew he wouldn't last long if he didn't play it smart. To go along with that strategy, he used cure on himself twice, restoring lost energy and easing his aching bones. It wasn't quite enough to rely solely on that though. No, it was time he used his unique magic. Vanish magic. The very slightest of smiles appeared on his face. "Now, lets see if you can hit what you can't see" the man said, as his body slowly faded away, turning completely invisible due to his magic. It wouldn't last long, but hopefully it would be enough.


Alastor used Master of the Elements, Element Mix: Thunder Collission (Silvia), Element Mix: Freezing Wind (Zwei), Cure(self), Cure(self), and Vanish(self)! (Vanish makes him untargetable just in case anyone's forgotten)

Sara used Thunder. It did 6 damage, but with Magic it did 8.
Alessia used Quick Blitz. It did 4 damage, but with Strength, Speed and Weapon it did 25.
Silvia used Cure on Zwei. It healed 10 of his HP.

In total, the group did 33 damage.
Alastor's defense reduced 8 damage.

Alastor used Element Mix: Thunder Collision on Silvia. It did 12 damage, but with Magic it did 20!

He was gone.
Anger filled her more.
sparks of electricity bounced around her.
The electricity going every which way.
Then she shot it out in the direction Alastor nex was last seen.
He could not have moved far.
Sara used Thunder.

 

"Damn it, come back here and fight!" Alessia shouted, frustrated and beaten down. This guy is tough... No wonder Ezekiel sent him after us... Poor Zwei. How are we going to win this? He's so powerful... Come on Alessia we can't afford to show fear now! That's just like letting him win! Don't give him the pleasure of seeing you squirm. She looked around frantically. No sign of Alastor yet. Where did he go? She looked at Zwei slowly burning, and her heart ached. She wanted to help, but she couldn't. They had to win this fast so they could help him. She hated seeing him down like that... Seeing anyone down like that... Suffering... Regretfully, she started to heal herself while she had the chance, waiting for Alastor to re-emerge from wherever he was hiding, the damn coward. He had to go down! He had to pay. For what he had done to Zwei, for what he was trying to do to her, to everyone. He needed to pay. She couldn't let Ezekiel's lapdog win like that, no way. I'll make you pay Alastor, I'll make you pay for every last inch of pain you inflict on my friends! I can't... I can't let you... I can't let him do it any more! No more hurting them! No more!
"Come on guys we can beat him." Alessia said, trying to encourage everyone, but barely controlling her voice. As soon as she saw Alastor again...
