"Let's move on then." Shani suggested as they followed Vance.

Evidence INCompleted! Third Area Completed! 3/5 points gathered. The group is going to travel to the circle near the ship

Florica, Shani, and Zeph walked towards the bushes. "They have the same orange as the plants over there. We've seen enough of this." Zephyros turned to Shani, arms crossed.

"Could a spell reach that big though? This would have to be a powerful wizard..."

Mission Information: Anything that is underlined in speaking or description is a clue. You can have your character look at it and try attempt to figure out what significance it has. This could be harder or easier depending on what building you have first/last. You can look more in depth at the clues presented. To recap, this is what we know:

    1. The bushes here have the same problems as the trees
    2. their bark is orange but the leaves are alright

"Who said it was just one spell? It could well be several spells cast across this area." Vance pointed out. "If we follow Conrad's battle theory, it actually makes a certain degree of sense." He was tempted to use Arc of Time, however the results of doing so would be much the same as doing it to the trees. There didn't seem to be much point. What was strange was that the leaves themselves were unharmed however the bark was. It seemed that there was an inconsistency in the strength, or in the effects. Something was inconsistent at the very least, that much was certain.
"Does it seem strange to anyone that the leaves are unharmed yet the bark is? One would assume it would be the other way around. Whatever spell they used, it was perhaps a weaker version I would say." Vance theorised. For the sake of doing so, he cast Arc of Time on one of the bushes. He didn't expect there to be a difference really, but he had no other ideas for what to get out of this place. Unless someone else had another theory, he would have to leave it there.

Gaius wasn't sure what was more surprising, the fact that someone was a bigger **** than Thomas, or the fact that Thomas....actually seemed a little threatening. What was the world coming to? "I can't believe I'm sayin' this, but I agree with Thomas. That really is his thing. Maybe I just want to see more of this arcane power thing, or maybe I just love destruction too much, but I say we let him blast them" he stated, encouraging the use of his arcane magic. The moment the words left his mouth, however, he remembered the pile of ash that had once been Levy, and dove forward, whacking Thomas upside the head just hard enough to register. "Changed my mind. Let's find out what they need first. Oh by the way, I learned magic that'd up your flirting game way more. You should look into it, maybe you won't be a total flop with women" Gaius said. He then reached down and placed his hand on his chest, and focused on using his Crash magic solely on his shirt, causing it to break down and disintegrate immediately, leaving his chest exposed and his muscles that he had magically acquired by being in an anime for all to see.

Caleb raised an eyebrow as the woman came out. Since when were they in costumes? And since when did people wearing those get referred to as costumers? He was sure there was another term for it. "No, we're not customers, we're here on a mission. Although, I am kind of hungry. What's in those pies?" he asked.

Fairies dying? Skadi was triggered. It brought back memories of little Thea incinerating the fairies back in the other mission, leaving nothing at all living in her wake and that burn mark on her arm. She flinched a little at the thought of it, moving her burnt arm slightly to the left. "When you say gone, do you mean she's just away or....?" the ice make wizard said, purposely allowing her voice to trail off.

Elivana paced around. "The Guardians are like, Mayors I guess. They're chosen by the Queen to look after the our land. They all have special powers, and all of them have powers surrounded around the colours of the rainbow. They just keep the garden alive, I'm not really sure how, but they have special powers from the Queen. I've never actually met one." Elivana told them. "Topaz has gone missing, we don't know WHERE she is." She then turned to Skadi. "She's missing." She clarified.

"It's something that's effecting all of the flight fairies, that's why I'm okay. They're just getting sick, but we don't know what happened. If you heal the fairies, I think they'll just get sick again, but it's worth a try." Elivana said. "I want you all to come with me and go to the nearest guardian, Azura. It's hours away by flight, and I can't fly which means it'll be even longer on foot. There are dangerous in the path that lies ahead, I need someone to protect me."

"Custo-me-rs. They're meat pies." The women corrected Caleb, speaking more clearly. "I've lived here for.. say... 16 years now eh? But times is hard, sir. And no wonder with the price of meat! You'd think it was fantastic finding animals dyin' in the streets at this rate. Oh and I'm not young enough like Mrs. Mooney across the street, chasing the cats down so she can pop pussies into pies! Pusseycats is quick, sir." She told Aias, she then turned to Dale. "I did in fact. Benjamin Barker. I still have his tools. Relatives? Of Mr. Barker? Oh! Ohhh I understand now! Sit down let me tell you a story."

"A story? Am I just in time then?" A tall man walked through the door with a gloomy, dark demeanor about him, taking one of the pies. He loomed as he dark, deep voice seemed to hover over the heads of all the Guild Members.

    ♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫

    "
You got a room over the shop, haven't you? If times are so hard, why don't you rent it out?" The man asked.

"Up there? Are you mad, love? People think 'ts haunted." Mrs. Lovette told him, she then turned to the group. "You see, years ago something happened up there... something not very nice."

"There was a barber and his wife. And he was beautiful... A proper artist with a knife," She put her dirty fingernail under Dale's chin in a cut throat motion, before continuing "but they transported him for life. And he was beautiful..." Ms. Lovette looked at the man, before turning to Aias. "Like I told you before, Barker his name was, Benjamin Barker."

"Transported, what was his crime?" Dale asked.

"Foolishness deary." She replied to Dale, before painting a picture for them. It was almost like they could see it all in their heads with her story telling. "He had this wife, ya see. Pretty little thing, silly little nit, had her chance for the moon on a string.... poor thing! Poor thing!" She sighed dramatically. "There were these two you see, wanted her like mad, one o' them a judge the o'ther one his Beadle. Every day they'd nudge and they'd wheedle, still she wouldn't budge from her needle! Too bad... pure thing!" She seemed to smile at that, before frowning and continuing dramatically. "So they merely shipped the 'or blighter off south they did, leaving her with nothing but grief and a year old kid! Did she use her head even then, oh no, god forbid! Poor fool. Ah, but there was worse yet to come... pure thing!"

"Johanna, that was the child's name, pretty little Johanna." She paused. "Well the Beadle calls on her 'll polite! Poor thing... poor thing! The judge - he tells her is all contright. He blames himself for her dreadful plight - she must come straight to his house tonight poor thing... poor thing."

"There was a party then you know. I've never been to one myself. Of course when she goes there poor thing! Poor thing! They're hav' a ball all in masks! There's no one she knows there! Poor dear! Poor thing! She wonders tormented and drinks! Poor thing! The judge has repented, she thinks, Poor thing! 'Oh where is Judge Turpin' she asks..." She then slammed her arms on the table. "He was there, alright! Only not so contright!"

"She wasn't no match for such craft, ya see. And everyone thought it so drull. They figured she had to be daft, ya see, so all of them stood there and laughed, ya see! Poor soul! Poor thing!"

"OUCH! What's your problem!?" Sam shouted as both Malkira and Ra both punched him in the face. Calxiyn blushed at their defense but then said.

"Hey they already have enough wounds!"

"Local flirt? Sounds like I have a protege." Erik smiled coyly.

    "Sam. Apologize."

"Fine. I'm sorry, for kissing you like that: I went too far." Sam muttered to Calxiyn. He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Apology accepted." Calxiyn smiled at him cheerfully.

"I will answer your questions." James started. "Forgive our intrusion. We did not know this abode belonged to anyone, nor did we have the time to take that into consideration." James told the girls. "The fight we just faced could have ended our lives. Please, forgive us." He bowed his head.

"But that doesn't explain why he just kissed me!" Cal complained.

"Well, my lovely, flustered lady, it's hard to explain." Erik then turned to Ra. "We're not exactly, normal."

"We're Incubi, demons that consume and use the sexual energy of humans to survive." The boy who had not said a word up until now spoke.

"That is why we recognize Devil Slayer Magic, it is the only human magic that can kill us." James explained.

"Ah... that explains why I feel a bit tired now." Calxiyn thought outloud. "But what exactly happened?"

"We've just recently came into this town, and we were jumped by a gang of... misfits. We battled with them but eventually we didn't prove to be a match, and we retreated back here." James told them. "I had no idea this was a Guild Hall - it looks more like a castle."

This woman, he thought, was questionably sane. In fact, by the sounds of it, the entire town was afflicted with some sort of insanity. Making domestic cats into pies, being young enough to run after them and catch them... There was all of this unpleasant talk, and he was more certain than before now that he had made a mistake in coming here. The story this woman told was a disturbing one. One with severe and horrific implications for the Johanna that she was talking about. He shuddered as he thought of what the poor girl must have suffered all that time ago at the hands of the strange judge that she had fallen into the hands of. Her implications were clear. The worst part of it all was, this pie seller told it without a hint of sympathy or sorrow or even disgust. Just in a singsong voice, as if it were a story, or something day to day that didn't matter. For the sake of politeness, he refrained from telling her that she was completely, and in every way utterly, mad. He couldn't wait to leave.
"Wonderful." Dale said dryly, disapproval written all over his face. "So what you are saying is... We should perhaps consider finding this Turpin if we want more information?" He was lost in her ramble of nonsense, and that was the only impression that he got out of her. He half hoped so. If it turned out to be the wrong Johanna, it didn't matter. He sounded like a scumbag, so he'd take pleasure in kicking down his door and having a good chat with the man.

Zephyr was busy trying to get a grasp on the whole situation instead of considering the possibility of the island being curse. Ander seemed to have the curse obsession under wraps so that part was part was fine without him. So what they had thought to be peacocks were now elephants and now they were standing in front of a trampolines that are able to hold the weight of an elephant. Just where in the world where they right now?

This was certainly a lot to take in all at once, thus Zephyr decided to stop trying to make sense of all this, least in his head anyway, and listen to what some of the others had said. "If they were made to be nets, but can hold the weight of an elephant, then whatever they were trying to catch must weigh more than an elephant." If that was the case, he hoped that they didn't run into whatever it was. Both Ander and Alessia were looking around the vine trampoline for tracks or a path. Zephyr on the other hand looked at the trampoline again. There had to be some reason for them to be here other than for the sake of making things even more confusing. "I swear the more we learn, the more confusing things get."

So Veilen was kinda half paying attention to what was going on in the guild hall, so when four random guys ran into the guild hall he barely noticed them. Though with all the ruckus being made over one of them kissing Cal, Veilen kinda had little choice but to pay attention to what was going on. "So what was this battle that you ran away from?" Veilen asked, someone had to after all.

There was a feeling of uneasiness that Zwei has had since the start of this mission and the fact that cats were being put into the pie only strengthen that feeling. Dale had mentioning finding some guy named Turpin. "So where do we find Turpin then?"

Since it was likely that they were going to follow behind Elivana, Alisa was silent as she listened to what the group was told about the current situation befalling the fairies. If healing them with magic didn't work then whatever was ailing them was pretty problematic then. "We'll protect you." Alisa said. (THis is where Mok ends this post due to lack of knowing what to post)

"Can you take me to those who are sick? I can try to help them while the rest go to see Azura. Even if healing doesn't last long I know plenty of herbal remedies that make them being sick, a little less uncomfortable." Silvia offered. At least if she could do this one small thing to help she could feel a little better about herself. Then when the others returned with the other guardian that could provide a little more permanent solution she could rejoin with the others and help them find Topaz. Apparently the path to get to Azura was going to be long as well, Silvia wasn't sure if she was comfortable leaving the place that was sick completely without help even if it was to get help, that was another reason she offered to stay. Being left alone would be a bit scary for her, but she had to do something to help.
Trevor stood back and listened to the story. It only really caught his attention when they mentioned the name Johanna. "So do you know what happened to the child, or someone who might know, besides this Turpin person?" Trevor asked wanting to get as many leads as they could before heading on a wild goose chase. Though he understood Dale's want to help Johanna, to some extent Trevor didn't think all this would help much. He suspected that they would be running in circles for the most part and not getting too far until they get tired and head back to the guild. Even so he agreed to come, so he needed to do what he could to help, even if he was mostly there just to supervise things.
"Ow!" Thomas cried out as Gaius hit him. "Perhaps I should use my new magic on you and take you and your lack of shirt down a notch." Thomas threatened Gaius. However instead of following through with the threat, Thomas thought better of it and took a step back as the men began to explain themselves. "So why are we just standing here letting demons into our guild? Am I the only one who thinks this is a terrible idea?" Thomas asked as the ruins on his arm began to glow once more. However as he was talking the big talk, his mind wasn't really on the men there or why they kissed Cal, it was why they didn't try to go for Charlotte. Perhaps he was right after all and he wasn't the only one who thought Charlotte was a little too manly. A small smile crossed his face as he thought about it.
Thea only glanced at the bushes that had the same problems as the trees they were at. "What if it was something pushing forward, either magic or mages advancing from the water towards the building. That would make sense why it would be in waves in both places wouldn't it?" The young girl pondered. Despite her age and general not caring about that kind of stuff, she was actually decently intelligent. She had some mind to think through possibilities, but again she didn't care enough to put serious effort into it, instead just suggesting the first thing that came to mind. Thea felt like she needed to put some sort of input in after causing such a mess not long before. She had to be a little helpful at least, then maybe the others would forgive her.

"It's... hard to explain." James started saying to Velien. "They're human Hunters, they use magical objections in order to hunt supernatural creatures. They're powerful like a mage would be."

"You have every right to be weary or unsure of trusting us, but I assure you we bring no harm to humans."

"Just pleasure." Erik winked at Calxiyn.

"Erik you're not helping our case."
James scolded. "Our kind don't normally partake in staying in the Human World, but I'm afraid that this is our Homeland now." James spoke respectfully to Thomas.

"We were summoned here by a kind human, a girl named Theodosia, who decided to have mercy on us and save us from a horrible fate." Damian spoke with a gleam of excitement when he said 'human', but then turned back to his shy self.

"You see, James is a next in line for the thrown in our world. He never was able to do things like play with us, always working away, but when Father said he was going to marry James off we the Queen of some other Kingdom, Damian decided to ask the human girl he had been talking to for help, and we all make a pact together to come with him. If we didn't, we would surely never be together again.."

"James didn't want to live the rest of his life constantly in war and turning into a spitting image of our father!" Matthew pipped up.

"We sacrificed everything to be together and be free. It's the truth." Sam said, though he seemed to be embarrassed about the sappiness.

"I sense one of you has the power of angels. That makes me slightly uncomfortable as an Incubus, but you can use it to tell if we're lying, though, I think that the scent of sexual sin may be covering it, it should be there." James bowed his head to Charlotte.

They all gone down on their hands and knees and bowed to the members in 'dogeza'. "If we go back out there we'll die, either by the hand of those who were chasing us, or worse, they'll bring us back to our world and we'll be tortured for the rest of our days. Plus help us. After this we'll be out of your hair."

Calxiyn looked at them, and then at their group. "They're going as low as they can to show us that we have their greatest respect. Demons are prideful and greedy! If they were really the kind of misguiding, evil demon you're thinking of then they wouldn't do that." Calxiyn crossed her arms. "I'm currently going to help them, even if I have to put all 5 of them up myself. They have no where else to go, aren't we supposed to be helping people? Being in the Human world is obviously part of their dreams, I'm not going to live knowing that I destroyed that dream."

"So do they all have different powers? Does the queen have powers? Is the queen closer? If the queen can give powers she could give them to someone else, like you. Did the sickness start after topaz disappeared? If it did start after she disappear then its possible by asking Azure to come back with us it could spread to the land they are protecting."

Charlotte's expression wasn't one that let up in its constant scowl as the group of demons started to plead their case. It was something that seemed to be made from a classic playwright's tale or something, though them being demons did not entirely allow her to feel the amount of pity someone normally would in this kind of a situation. Regardless, it seemed that they seemed to recognize that, just as Calxiyn possessed the power of the Fire Devil Slayer magic, they had realized that Charlotte's mood was caused by the Angel Magic that she possessed. With that in mind, they seemed to think that she was able to discern whether or not they were lying about the entire situation, though, as Charlotte had just recently obtained this magic and hadn't even really understood what the sense granted to her by it was capable of doing or how to use it, she could still only really sense that they were somewhat vile and repulsive creatures.

Nevertheless, they seemed to get on their hands and knees as they seemed to be begging for their help. Charlotte's expression hardly lightened, even as the red haired key bearer had turned to the rest of them to express her feeling of sympathy for them. As she had mentioned that demons were generally prideful creatures, and then begging was generally beyond them, Charlotte couldn't help but feel in disagreement as she said,
"aye, and they're also renowned for their trickery and deceitfulness, especially those of the incubus variety." However, seeing that the girl would not back down, it would seem that Charlotte ultimately have no choice in the manner. Whether or not the demons were lying ended up being a somewhat moot point.

Letting out a reluctant sigh, Charlotte turned to the rest of the group and said,
"if they are telling the truth, it would not be right to just leave them to their deaths. Besides, if she seems bent on being a devil's advocate," she said pointing to Calxiyn, "then we should accompany them all the more to make sure that she does not end up getting herself caught in some trap quite like last time." Charlotte was not overly pleased with the task at hand, but it was one that she would most likely get roped into one way or another regardless.

When the fairy had gone on to explain more and more just what was going on, Lucia still wasn't entirely sure of what could actually be done about this problem, and she seemed to put her hand to her chin as she continued to think on the situation more. However, with everyone knowing so little right now, it was probably just a waste of time, and so Lucia only saluted to the girl and said, "you can count on us!" as she asked for protection down the long road to meet the blue guardian.

Malkira listened to their tale expressionlessly while he handed around tea and sugar "I agree Cal, we should help them" he then turned to Charlotte and stared at her with a stony expression "And you know what else are renowned for being evil?" he asked "Undead". For a moment he just stared with a challenging glare "So maybe get rid of that prejudice, they are telling the truth after all" turning away he looked back at the demons cheerily "You are incredibly lucky you came across such a merciful group of people. Sorry about the punch, but you were trespassing and making advances on my friend, just be glad we stopped there. What do you need?"

Ra listened to their story, staring at them with a skeptical expression. As Charlotte said, demons weren't known for being the most trustworthy of beings. Though, Malkira and Calxiyn seemed to have bought their story immediately. "Simply because there are exceptions does not make it less valid. Because you are trustworthy does not mean that all undead are friends to us. Orpheus proved that beyond doubt." He said to Malkira, then sighed as he turned to Calxiyn. "It is not my decision alone. If the rest of my team believes we should help them, then I will not object." Charlotte didn't trust them, but seemed to be in favor of helping them, if nothing else than to watch out for Calxiyn. He himself was of a similar opinion. So, he turned to the other members of Team King. Gaius, Veilen, and Thomas. "What will it be? Their fate lies in your hands." He offered the decision of helping them or not to his team.

Edric stood there and listened patiently while the people who were, apparently sex demons, talked. And it seemed that these Incubi were being hunted down by humans who were, quite naturally, trying to get rid of them. He sighed. Demons were not a part of the natural world order when it came to issues with humanity. He had heard enough from Dale about what had happened with Deliora to judge that much. These were not the same, but still- They didn't belong here. However, they seemed relatively harmless. As in, they didn't appear to be seeking trouble or seeking to consume people, but instead to shirk the responsibility of one man that he didn't want. It was natural, he supposed. It wouldn't do any harm to help them. Admittedly, it felt a little painful to be doing this without an official contract, but sometimes you had to do things gratis and not be so stingy with wanting a reward. He wasn't that interested in getting involved here truthfully. Unfortunately, it looked like he'd have to. After all, Caliborn wasn't around right now and someone needed to keep an eye on the new guys and make sure that they didn't get hurt. And well, it wasn't like he had anything particularly useful to do with himself anyway.
"Whatever yer doin', Ee'll stick aroond with ya. Someone has ta keep an eye on ya. Yer getting there, but ye en't proper Wizards yet." Edric spoke. He offered nothing else other than that. He didn't want to influence their decision. They seemed to be sorting themselves out so, he would allow them to do just that. After all, they'd never grow properly if they were babysitted by S-Classes all the time. He folded his arms and waited, keeping his eyes on the five demons in front of him.

Vance watched curiously as the bushes did not regenerate their bark to be brown again and grow inside as happened with the tree before. Instead, the bush shrunk into a younger plant then finally lay resting on the ground as a seed with a shoot. He raised an eyebrow.
"It seems that whatever happened here has some kind of lasting effect. The bush seems to have grown with this unnatural orange bark." He observed. "And Thea, I would tend to agree with what you say. It is remarkably perceptive, well done." It seemed to him that she would need some encouragement now. She looked rather down after she had used her Terrain Magic and put herself, and him in danger. In any case, it seemed that they weren't going to get anything else from here and so proceeded to the grey structure in the pass between the mountains. You know, the red bit in the middle.

Anyways, we got 4/5 for that bit.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
Johanna rubbed her temples. She didn't know what to make out of what Aoki or Ander was saying, but smiled as Alessia got them back into focus. Alessia found some tracks, but they seemed to disappear after a while. That's when the group came across an area of the beach, which was filled with tents, magical achieve equipment, and it looked like someone had been here only moments ago.

"This isn't from our crew. What in the world?..."

"Someone's set up shop on this island." Johanna looked around some more. "This obviously wouldn't be set up by people who are native here. They would build houses, not tents." Johanna paced. "And the computers too... it's like someone else is researching."

"But this island is within our countries bounds... that means no one else should be here."

    Mission Breakthrough!

Mission Information: Anything that is underlined in speaking or description is a clue. You can have your character look at it and try attempt to figure out what significance it has. This could be harder or easier depending on what location you have first/last. You can look more in depth at the clues presented. To recap, this is what we know:

    1. There are computers here
    2. There are tents here
    3. Someone left here moments ago
    4. It seems to be recent
    5. These tents aren't put here by the natives.

I will say if the evidence has been fully "completed" or if there's anything else you could say about the evidence. This may be easier for some characters then others depending on different backgrounds as well as magic. Either way, all of the evidence is important in other to get the maximum amount of points.

    The Island Expedition:
Zephyr had something, but there was not much more that could be done. He just followed the group and the foot prints. They seemed to reach another beach this time with tents, magical achieve equipment and computers. "The tents are sign that someone from another land came here. The magical equipment seems to suggest that the people that came here has some sort of magical knowledge. The computer said that the people have some sort of technology" He gave a look at the computers and a smile came across his face. "Perhaps we can find out what the people were up to." He then walked over to the computers and put his hand on it sending energy into it, he then did the same with the other three. He kept going until all three were on at the same time. "I don't know how long I can do this for without risking damage to the computers." He was carful to use just enough lighting to power the computers nothing more nothing less, that said it took a lot of thought.

"What happened to the child?" The other man almost seemed to be begging for an answer.

"They came for the little girl, Turpin and his men. I had assumed that he put her in for adoption." Ms.Lovette replied to both. Aias started smelling an almost hint of dishonesty. The older man swore under his breath.

"And they wife? What happened to the wife?" The man seemed to be in great distress.

"Poisoned herself. Arsenic to from the Apothecary down the street. Oh I tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen to me!" Ms.Lovette protested as the man seemed to show his anger. He put his hands in his head, but said no more. Aias could smell an almost hint of dishonesty again, as if it were a half truth.

"Please, if you wish, get me a drink..." Ms.Lovette handed him a cup of Ale.

"You can find him at his house or in court." Ms.Lovette suggested to Dale and Trevor. "I don't know who else you could ask other then Turpin himself, maybe the Beadle."

Shani and the others went to that red thing in the middle. That's when they realized that they were standing under what looked like to be a bridge of some sort. Where the stone exposed it, it was clearly broken, but where the stone hadn't it was assumed to be sound.

"We need to get up there." Florica pointed at the stone covering the bridge. "If we get in there we'll be able to see what's inside. From here I can see a something." She told the group.

"As much as I'd like to scale up the rockwall..." Shani pondered. "Actually, we should do it, unless anyone has a better idea."

"I may be able to grow wings but I can't lift everyone."

Mission Information: Figure out how to get up there.

"Thank you father." Thea responded to Vance's compliment. She kept hold of his hand as he lead them to the next area. She stood there listening to what everyone was saying. She didn't know what she could do to help. If she understood what her new magic did and how to use it, then maybe she could be of some help, but since no one bothered to explain anything to her, she didn't.

Thomas rolled his eyes at the situation. He really didn't want to deal with all this right now, not when he had his own problems. And he certainly did not feel pity for these men, unlike some people in the room. "I suppose we can help, but I have no idea how." Thomas stated as walked away from the area they were all standing in order to find a little more room to breath. He let the arcane magic completely fade from his arm. He didn't need a fight right now, not with the way that he was feeling. Tiredness started to sweep over him as he tried to focus on what was happening. This was not good at all. Even so he couldn't focus on that right now. Not when there were five demons fishing for pity and stealing his mojo.

"Well I guess it is time to find Turpin's place. Thank you for the information, but we really must be getting going." Trevor said politely to Lovette. He turned to face Dale. "This is your mission so you may lead the way." He told them as he stepped back allowing the man to lead. Trevor tried to be helpful, but he didn't care to overstep his limits as more of a supervisor. It was not his mission to take over.

"So clearly someone else is here then. Maybe they were researching something." They had some computers so it was a possibility. As for what they were researching there wasn't much that Zephyr could think of. Well there was who inhabited the island and the animals so it was still possible. Now where did they go and why leave in a hurry? Pretty suspicious of whoever set this all up.

"Human hunters, well I guess that makes sense." Veilen said. It wasn't unreasonable for someone to to hunt things down. Now as for where he stood on the whole issue of whether to help them or leave them behind. "Not sure how good of an example undead are." That said the only experience with undead he's ever had was against Orpheus and those were without a doubt evil. The incubi on the other hand, not so much. "If they really are telling the truth, then I say we help them."

Vance looked up at the bridge above them, considering how to get up. There wasn't anything that he could see that would help, at least immediately. None of his magic would be useful either. He set himself about a more thorough examination of the bridge. Perhaps there was a ruined staircase that he could restore using Arc of Time. It was quite high up, so it would make sense if on either end of the bridge there was a staircase to climb up. Equally, there might well not be. After all, they might not have wanted unwanted persons to get up on to the bridge, as it would give them access to whatever the bridge connected. He looked around anyway. He didn't have any other options.
"I don't know your magic, so does anyone have anything that might help? Damian?" He chanced that since Damian hadn't contributed much so far, he might be able to help here. Perhaps even Conrad could help. This was an inconvenience to be sure. He hoped that they thought of putting in some stairs.

Dale listened to what the woman said. This really was a cutthroat place. He wasn't overly fond of it in the slightest, especially this Mrs Lovette. Luckily, Trevor managed to bail them out with the best suggestion he'd heard all day. But, he supposed, he had to ask one last question.
"Where can we find this Beadle?" Dale asked. He didn't sound overly polite when he asked, but then again this Lovette was hardly the nicest person so she could hardly blame him for being snappy with her. He'd never met anyone he considered so repulsive in his life. Somewhere like this could never create the Johanna he knew, only broken people with scars for an inheritance.
