When he went up the first thing that happened was an orb flashing with many different magics appeared, then the key hole like with cal and finally a gust of wind. What did this mean what was the orb? Then Evenora told him what each was giving him three keys for celestial spirit. He then walked off and up to clara. "How is it going"? He asked her.

"Thomas!" Evanora hissed at his outbreak, looking over at a fearful Thea. Evanora walked onto the field, her staff in hand. She examined the situation. "You didn't bring yourself back here..." Her voice trialed off. She saw he was glowing in the same, golden light that was bathed in Aoki. "So that's why then... I think I understand." Evanora circled Ezekiel. "This magic will kill my children if they can't figure out how to use it properly, I'm assuming that's why you're here." She pondered this. "I could throw you back into the outlands, but the magic here is chosen by Destiny and with the will of the First Master. If this is what she wants who am I to disobey." She looked up at the sky. "Isn't that right, Mavis Vermilion?" Evanora yelled her name out, and that was when the ground started to shake. She held her wand for her support. She then turned to her Guild. "I understand your immediate concern! But as you can see there is a reason for Ezekiel to return. If he doesn't teach this lost magic to the members who have merged with it they will die, is that understood?! Further, that doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve punishment for what he's done. We'll control his magic output, and make sure the Guild Members are safe, and in return for not sending him back he will help us, isn't that right?" Evanora had a look that would kill as she glared at him for a moment, before her eyes softened.

"I don't intend to attack anyone, even without the limiter, but if you feel the precaution is necessary, I won't object. Though, I'll need it removed when whenever i'm teaching them, if only to be replaced afterwards. Can't teach them the magic without being able to use it, no?"

"Of course. I understand. I'm glad to hear you are not intending of attacking, I am still weary of you and am not so sure. But if you really mean that then just remember this: There's no time here to give remorse about the past now, start building a better path. But if you betray this I won't be so forgiving if you try and hurt my children again." Evanora extended her hand to him.

    "Of course, Guild Master."

    The Island Expedition

"Hello everyone! I'm happy to see you all are here, and I'm excited that you'll be able to test out your new magics!" Johanna started. "You're real wizards now, aren't you?" She smiled. "Alright, so our mission is to map out a very dangerous island. We are going with Pri-" The man beside Johanna coughed. She coughed as well. "Adventurer Antonio and his comrade Frazer. I hope you all have your sea legs because we're going on a boat!"

"I am Antonio. This is Frazer." He gestured to the man in the sailor suit. "Thank you are joining us. This island is something very curious. We're not Wizards of any kind and so it's a bit of trouble for us to battle against some of the monsters there are on it. We sent a team to 'check the waters' and they came back saying there was a terrible monster. This island is off far off the coast of Apollonia but apparently it's never been seen before. There's magic surrounding this place, we're sure of it. We need your help."

She then turned to Ezekiel. "I'm glad you're coming with us. I know we were enemies before but that's all in the past now as the Guild Master said. She's given me the spell key to the Magic limiter and I'll be sure to take it off straight away if anything happens. The rest of you don't have to worry about Ezekiel hurting us though, okay?" She spoke cheerfully.

"Hello!" She smiled at Jack. "For those of you that don't remember me, your Guild helped me Kingdom a long time ago. Inside of the Kingdom of Parthenia, or as some say, 'Candy Land', there is another Kingdom which is like a Fairytopia. Elivana is a flightless fairy who I can feel is pleading for someone to save her Kingdom. I don't know what is going on, since I am purely human and though I've learned magic it was through a book, I don't have it running through my veins like you all do. Going there would kill me. I send a message in the sky telling her I would send the best wizards from my world. Thank you for helping us." Clara bowed slightly before giving the group a bright smile. "When you're ready, walk through the portal."

Calxiyn sat beside Ra, who had came to comfort her after what happened to her in the arena. She looked at the mark on her hand. It was less red now, no longer shining, but it was a burn mark. "You got Celestial Spirit Magic too." Calxiyn tried to smile at him cheerfully, though something was obviously bothering her. "I should see what my Spirits are like!" She spoke excitedly. "Here we go! Open, Gate of the Ram!"

"Hello." Aries spoke to Calxiyn, who looked at her in awe.

    "Hello!"
Calxiyn replied. She then giggled. "Oh my goodness, you're so cute."

Aries turned to the side, looking at Calxiyn flustered. "Th-thank you."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you. I'm Calxiyn, I just became a Celestial Spirit mage and so I'm not quite sure how this works, but I'd like to make a contract with you!" Calxiyn gave a polite bow, which seemed to startle Aries more, and she did the same. Aries looked around her surroundings.

    "Sapphire Eclipse..."

    "Yes, that's my Guild!"

"I don't think I've ever had a Wizard from this Guild. It would be my pleasure, Calxiyn." Aries extended her hand shyly, and Calxiyn shook it. "I use wool magic, but I'm not very strong..." Her voice trialed off, and she put her hand on her arm, hugging herself.

"Aw, don't say that! If you're one of the Zodiacs, then you're really powerful! I'm so glad to have you!" Calxiyn
beamed. Aries gave her a small smile. "I should go now, though. I'll be sure to call you again soon. Thank you, Aries."

Aries laughed, giving a small nod before Calxiyn closed the Gate. She turned to Ra.

    "Your turn!"

    The City of Ember

"Hello everyone." Zephyros started speaking. "Let's skip the pleasantries and get down to business: I have a map, to El Dorado, the City of Gold! We're going to find it, go to it, and take as much back as we can carry without causing too many problems." Zephyros continued, then turning to Vance and the others. "My Guild Mark has come in, so I'm officially one of you. Evanora calls us family, and if that's what we are to be to each other I can't complain or go against that. I think the sentiment is nice." Muttering the last part, the mage turned to Shani.

"I am Zeph's sister, Shani. We aren't really related but we're all family, similar to your Guild. I am your pirate Captain, so hopefully none of you decide to get sick. Zeph asked for my boat, I asked for a cut. And that's why I'm here." Shani crossed her arms. She didn't look at Vance at all, but spoke almost directly to Thea.

"I am Florica. I am a seer, but I am also Shani's traveling companion. We've been friends for a long time and though she sounds harsh don't mind her, we will be your Guild Mates for this mission."

"Any questions? Tell me when we can go to the boat."

"Clara your town is going ok right? How can you know she is in trouble? It is also good to see you again after last time. We are all stronger now we will help you." He finished.
"Since I am purely human and though I've learned magic it was through a book" Clara had said. "How is that possible for a normal human to learn magic? I don't doubt you, I just haven't herd of a thing like that happening before."

"My Kingdom is fine, thank you. I know she was in trouble because the power I do possess is being the Sugar Plum Princess, and I am in tune with all nature and with that I can know when the nature is suffering. The fairies aren't humans, they're one with nature." She told him. "The old King, Prince Eric's father had an old book. Apparently there is more then one dimension, there are tons! And one of those is called Edolas. In Edolas, you can't use Magic, but you use Magic items. I think that this book was a magical item, and that's where my magic comes from. The book has the power, not me." She explained to him. "I hope that answers your question. In this book there is a lot of secrets about the Kingdom, and one of them was how to get to where all of the fairies live. Prince Eric must have not known he had any magic, but I think if he went with you he would have survived it." Her voice trailed off, though her voice still looked a bit cheerful.

Dale had done some research, and now it was time to act since the ceremony was over. He had been looking around, trying to get a lead on where Johanna's parents might be, or where they might have disappeared to. Even who they were. He looked through all the resources he could find. At last, at around four in the morning he had managed to find a lead. While flicking through old guild files (That he may or may not have been meant to be looking at) he found his lead. He found an unanswered job request. Namely, a missing person report and the name given - Johanna. While there was no last name, as far as he aware Johanna had no last name. He smiled. Perhaps he had a link to her after all. It was no surprise that neither of them had come across it, considering the age. But it did make him wonder - Had she really been missing that long? This job was 17 years old. That would mean that she was stolen away as a child. In that case... He had to find out. This was possibly the answer that they had been looking for. He rewrote the job, placing it on the job board and waited in the Guild Hall. He also wrote that he wanted an S-Class to come with him, to avoid another headache like Galuna. When everyone arrived, he began to explain.
"Thanks for coming everyone. There's not many of you, is there?" Dale looked at the relatively small team. There really weren't many of them at all. It would be fine though. This was just a simple investigation right? "I don't anticipate too much danger anyway. So, while looking around for something, I found this. It's an old job, but I'm doing it for a reason. Essentially, I want to help Johanna find her parents and well, I'd like to ask for your help."

Vance felt the heat was picking up in the room and he immediately searched out Thea. Whoever he was, that blond man was causing his daughter a fair amount of distress and he needed to find her. Immediately, he was suspicious. Anyone that Thea reacted that badly to was someone to be concerned about and judging by Thomas' outburst, there was clearly a good reason for it. Apparently they had met this Ezekiel before. He managed to pick out Thea hiding away and rushed to her side, sweeping her into a tight embrace.
"Don't worry Thea, I'll protect you. I don't know who this man is, but I will protect you." Vance reassured as best he could, thinking of any way that he could use his new magic to defeat the man, In theory, he could make a contract with him. Yes, that would be the solution. He would make a contract with Ezekiel, one that he could not afford to break. In that way, he would stop the man harming Thea ever again. He would acquiesce to that contract, or the guild would strike back. He was sure of that. "Calm down. I am here, and I am protecting you. You can't be harmed now. Not whilst I am here. I promise."

    IN THE FUTURE

Vance saw that Shani, Florica and unfortunately,Zephyros were calling for assistance. He had told Florica that he would stand with them, and he meant that. There was no other choice as far as he was concerned. The rest looked uninteresting and there was no opportunity to make contracts. Therefore, Vance had to go here. Besides, by doing this he might be able to save some face with Shani because he clearly upset her at the party. It seemed that she hadn't calmed down since. He decided against speaking. It would be a bad idea to make a scene.

"I have no questions. Let us get to business." Vance said, all business. When the man approached, he noticed that Conrad was in a shoddy state. He looked terrible and he detected the smell of alcohol. As an aside, Vance put his hand on his noble counterpart's shoulder. "Conrad, you look out of sorts, and I saw you drinking heavily at the celebration. What has got into you? Where is your decorum?"

Got it right first time. Totally.

Alessia stepped up with Johanna to the briefing that the two men were giving. She counted herself lucky that she wasn't someone who was easily seasick, especially since by the sounds of it there was going to be some fighting, possibly on the water.

"So, what's so curious about this island? Apart from the monsters." Alessia asked. So far, they hadn't given a good reason for them to go to this island. Frankly it sounded like a horrible idea. And she wasn't overly pleased with Ezekiel coming. She remembered what he did to their comrade.

    Guild hall:

He sat watching the everyone else pick magics. That was when Ezekiel showed up. What was he doing here? It was clear that the punishment did not work. He just would have to find out and let the man explain himself. Evanora and Ezekiel were talking and what happened you guessed it, she just let him go surprise, surprise. The name Mavis Vermilion rang out. It was some sort of relation, what he could not say. That was when there was talk about a limiter. Limiter or not he did not think it would matter if someone wanted to do harm there was nothing he could do about it. Evanora and Ezekiel agreed on the limiter. What use it would have he could not say. He was not afraid of the man if at all. Now trust was something else all together. That was when mission sign up were posted. He saw something about a island and thought what better way to test out water magic then to go there.

    The Island Expedition:

    Ander's pov:

He walked over to Johanna. She began to welcome them and talk about going to a very dangerous island. That was when Johanna coughed. as long as the person next to her. He raised a eyebrow, but let them continue. Antonio then spoke of the island. That there were monsters there are on it. There were always monsters someplace. 'This island is off far off the coast of Apollonia but apparently it's never been seen before. There's magic surrounding this place, we're sure of it. We need your help.' First was Johanna. He turned to her. "Are you sick? Perhaps you should stay at the guild and let someone else go instead," He told her as a suggestion. He then spoke to both Johanna and Antonio. "It sounds like something like Galuna island. They had some sort of curse on it maybe this island has something that is the same preventing you from finding it." Johanna and Ezekiel were talking apparently he was coming with them.

"I'm fine!" Johanna told him. "Dale told me about Galuna. That's curious... why would someone keep an island hidden for so long?" She pondered to herself. She looked over at Dale, wondering what kind of mission he was leading anyway.

"We won't know until we get there. Our ship is waiting." Antonio told the group somewhat impatiently. You could see the excitement of adventure in his eyes.

"So, how 'bout that prison food?" Boreal asked, utterly bored in his cell. He was sitting on the ground, having been admitted yet again. They showed no sign of stopping the whole constantly throwing him back in his cell thing. Generally, there was nothing good about this entire situation. He was stuck, unable to escape with Mikasa of all people. He just waited for the point at which she would start trying to gouge his eyes out with those satanic claws that he remembered her having. He also knew that she was let out at night, so that would be the perfect chance. He needed to get out of here and negotiate with Evanora somehow, figure out a way of getting out of this thrice damned cell and out into the real world doing something. Admittedly, there was no place for him out there, but hey. He could figure something out. Actually... Considering his options. There was only one thing he was really good at, wasn't there? And it would probably get him out. He would have to join the Guild. He looked over at Mikasa's psychologist, who also happened to be around. "Do you think you could get a message to Evanora? I want to talk to her about joining the Guild."

Caliborn hadn't been assigned to any particular jobs for the moment, so he contented himself with sitting down and observing the various things going on around. He stroked his beard and observed. Calxiyn had summoned her celestial spirit. He smiled. Her spirit was timid and it looked like her enthusiasm had overwhelmed the poor thing. It was nice to see them bonding nicely though. However, despite the good things there were some things that struck him. First of all, Ezekiel's sudden and not entirely welcome appearance, as well as Evanora's conversation with Mavis Vermillion, the first guild master. There was clearly something that he didn't understand quite yet, and he intended to find out. Was this perhaps, one of the secrets available only to the Guild Masters? He felt curiosity welling inside him. He wanted to know what was going on. He liked to think that he was well aware of the events going on in the Guild so that he could look after everyone, but clearly there were some things that not even he knew. What information had Evanora been keeping secret?

Edric watched Conrad head off on a mission. The man would have a killer hangover and his head was going to be pounding from what he had been drinking the other night. Hopefully he would be able to cope with it. Admittedly, it didn't sound like a stressful mission so, it should be fine. He sipped a light beer and watched the Guild Hall moving. Sometimes nothing beat people watching.

"I have been assigned to join you on your mission." Trevor said as he walked up to Dale. He hated the idea, given how angry George was if he lost control... well that could be a huge problem. On top of that most of the members didn't know him. Didn't know what he was, and he didn't want them to find out. However this didn't mean he would abandon his guild. He would do what he was asked and do his best to keep things under control. Listening to Dales explanation Trevor thought to add in a fair warning. "Even if we don't anticipate danger, be prepared just in case, you never know what may happen." He added. The mission his team was killed on, it wasn't supposed to be dangerous at all. There wasn't supposed to be fighting and still something changed and he was the only one to make it out alive. He would not let that happen this time. No one would die. But it was best they were warned.

Silvia looked around as the groups filled up. There wasn't many options left for her to head to and the one that was left... Silvia was filled with the feeling of guilt as she made her way over to Clara. "I am here to help." She said shyly and looking away. "Sorry once again I wan't able to save him." Silvia said as she heard mention of the Prince. That was all Silvia wanted, was to be able to save people and here she stood in front of someone she failed, offering to help again. If she could she would have ran off to another mission, but that was not an option. Silvia couldn't help but fiddle with her sleeves as she stood awkwardly at the edge of the group. scared that they didn't want her because she wasn't of enough use.
Thomas was standing there awkwardly waiting for team King to be ready to go on a mission, when Thomas heard Cal summon a Celestial Spirit. He glanced over long enough to see which one it was before turning away awkwardly. He would not look at the spirits. He could not look at them. Instead he turned his face away from them, hoping they wouldn't notice him there. At this point he almost wished to disappear, but there he stood right by them in an awkward position. "Ra, which mission are we heading out on?" Thomas asked trying to change the subject before Ra had a chance to open a gate.
"N-no don't came near me. He will use you to punish me. You are in danger being close to me." Thea sobbed as Vance gave her a hug. She was terrified at this point and didn't want anyone close to her. She wanted them to stay away so if Ezekiel did try to hurt her, he would only hurt her. However Thea wasn't up for trying to struggle out of her fathers arms. So instead she just sat there trembling and sobbing in his arms, taking what comfort from it that she could.

A while later it was time for missions. Thea happily went straight over to Shani, as she had promised to go with her on the mission. However Zephyros was also there, Thea was not too keen on that idea. Around her was also Conrad who had made her quite nervous of him while drunk, and Damian, another person she was scared of. It looked like the only comfort she got in this mission was her father and Shani. Normally Thea would be more than a little excited to be going on a boat, however right now she was still too shaken from Ezekiel's appearance to be excited. Once they had set sail and she was away from him, perhaps she would feel better, but right now she couldn't even focus as fear swirled through her mind.

Clara had said. "I know you miss him. I miss him too, but he is not gone his spirit lives on in those who care about him and those who were there. In a way he can truly not ever be gone. He lives on in our hearts." He finished preparing to walk through the portal and the others to finish whatever they were doing.

Mikasa, who was still in a simple, white dress turned over onto the bed. "Do you know what time of day it is?" She sneered, her voice deadly. Her hair was ruffled with bedhead. She looked even scarier then usual because of the interruption of her sleep.

"I certainly can. Theodosia, go get the Guild Master."

    "Yes Master."

    Mikasa shot up.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT." She shouted. "How dare you even suggest something that insulting? Our Guild is a family and you hate yours. Why the hell should we let you join it!?"

"Mikasa?" Theodosia twinged in fear. Mikasa was much more lively in the morning.

"Our Guild is all about family and you HATE yours. Why the hell should we let you in? Shut up and go back to sleep." She tossed a pillow at him violently.

Clara smiled. "I was just going to say something like that, Jack." She told him, referring to telling Silvia a similar thing. "His spirit is in the world around us. Don't apologize. He's not really gone." She smiled at her with brief tears in her eyes, though they were of happiness more then sadness. "And for him we have to save even the smallest creatures. Please hurry and leave as soon as possible."

"You and whose authority? Pardon me Mikasa, but since when were you the Guild Master? As far as I can tell, it's Evanora's decision. Either way, you'l have to live with it. Besides, you lot have hardly given me a chance." Boreal shot back. "Might I remind you that you helped me and that George guy screw with Dale. Where was your vaunted family in that?" He was not going to spend the rest of his life in here, or even a year of it. No, he was getting out of here. If not this Guild, then another one. His only option was to negotiate. Besides, at the rate this was going Sapphire Eclipse was going to become very, very hostile. He caught Mikasa's pillow deftly and couldn't resist a grin.
"Thanks for the pillow Mikasa. I hope you sleep well without one." Boreal put it down on top of his pillow and lay down, grinning smugly. "Ahh, now this is comfortable. You ought to try it sometime Mikasa. It makes the whole being arrested experience much, much more pleasant." Yes, it was going to piss her off. No, he didn't care. She was being incredibly rude about him trying to do something with his life and he was going to respond in kind. If she wanted to play the five year old, he'd match her game and beat her. What he did neglect to mention was the fact that she looked like she was pulled out of a roadside bush after having been stuck in there for a night. The state of her hair was laughable, and she had the face to match someone suitably pissed about being dumped in the aforementioned roadside bush. Also white was the colour of innocence and she looked far from it. There was so much that he could laugh about and poke at, but he didn't. Instead, he just lay down on his extra pillow while keeping an eye on everyone in the room so he could move if they tried to attack him or steal their pillows back.

    The Island Expedition:
He was not convinced by Johanna when she said she was fine, but there was not much he could do about it. If Johanna wanted to go with them then there was not much he could do to stop her. That cough was a odd thing. He guessed he should not think about it to much. Johanna then went on about Dale telling her about Galuna. Johanna then asked why someone would keep an island hidden for so long?. "People do all sorts of things. Whatever the case to hide a island takes lots of magical power, so if someone was to hide a island they would have to be a rather powerful wizard. It is a wizard or some sort of technology, which is unlikely." He began to think of the last mission he was on with Johanna. If that was anything to go by then there was more to this then she let on. Antonio then went on about wanting to go now. "I hate to disagree with you, but the more we know now the better we will be able to help you. So if there is anything you wish to tell us I would suggest you do so now. Better to plain now and it to fall apart down the line then to try to come up with something on the spot. It is far easier that way." He began to think about the island. "How did you find this island if it was hidden?" There was something going on here. He wanted answers so they could plain now. That said he could not force an answer she did not want to give. If she wanted to tell him that was up to her. He stood by what he said and that was that the more knowledge they had the better they would be down the road.

Mikasa laughed. "I'm the Third in Command. Remember who you're talking to." She spat. "Hey, families tease each other sometimes. It was just a joke. But from what I understand you're down right nasty to Dale." She muttered.

"I'll go get the Guild Master..." Theodosia's voice trialed off.

Evanora at Theodosia's request came into the dungeon, to see Mikasa covering herself with her blanket as if she were a Caterpillar, and Boreal. "Theodosia says we have something to speak to each other about." She said to Boreal. "I'm sorry for disturbing you Mikasa, I won't take long."

Mikasa groaned and Evanora laughed. "What is it you wish to speak about with me, my boy?" She asked Boreal. Her voice was somewhat tense, but at the same time it was almost motherly and comforting as a Guild Master.

So that was fun. At the ceremony Damian found himself filled with the power of fire, fire of many colours. Additionally he gained the power of telepathy. Lastly, and certainly not leastly, he garnered to power of a Sky God Slayer. Perfect, with this he could heal people properly, he could save the world. He felt a strange feeling, almost religious. Is this what all those priests were droning on about back home? He felt a divine duty, it was now his mission to bring hope to the righteous, and fear to the evil. He would be the Herald of Justice.

Later on Damian was brought along for a mission taking them to El Dorado, the ancient city of gold. Seemed interesting.

"Other then the monsters, we know not much else. We know that as far as animals go, there are red pandas, peacocks, elephants and crocodiles, as well as dolphins. There are many birds, this is why it interests me. I study animals as well." Antonio explained.

"I'm an Animal Soul Wizard. I could talk to the animals and see what they know about the island, and if they've seen any humans." Johanna suggested.

"I was on my way across the sea for an, um." Antonio paused. "An arrangement with another Kingdom, as I am the Royal Zoologist. On our way we past by an island that wasn't on the map before. It was in between both of the countries, so it was impossible for anyone to have missed it in the past. Now it's my job to go with the crew."

"Yes, a little mild teasing that led him to run out of the Guild Hall, incredibly upset, leading to the supposed betrayal that led to your little spate of violence. Yes, Dale and I don't get on well but I plan to try and put our differences aside and if that's not possible, then go to another Guild." Boreal replied, with his arms folded. "And you're not miss perfect either. To me, you seem rather like a bully at this Guild with your attitude. So get real. We're quite similar." With that, he waited for Evanora who luckily appeared after they had finished taking shots at each other. She was still standing up tall and proud like she always did. Honestly, it was very easy to see why she was a Guild Master. The body language she gave off radiated confidence. She seemed almost matronly as well. it was a very conflicting sense that he got from her. That, he supposed, was part of what made her natural for the job. He sat up out of respect. He wasn't going to gain any points by being anything less than respectful about this, he was well aware. He half expected Mikasa to try and sabotage him.
"Yes, I asked to talk to you. Thank you for coming to listen." He began. "In short, I'd like to join the Guild. Having been arrested by you on what, three occasions? I've had time to think and well, the only thing I'm actually good at is magic. I may as well join this Guild since I'm in its cells right now. I'd like to hear whether this is possible, and what conditions there would be for such a thing." He didn't make a bad case for himself, he thought.

"'You may as well join the Guild'. This Guild should be taken seriously.Being in a Guild is more then just a commitment. We're family. If you want with all of your heart to be accepted, you've gotten off on the wrong foot." Evanora crossed her arms, but she couldn't help but laugh at his poor attitude. "Of course it's possible, but it's not an escape out of a prison cell, please don't use it as one. Do you honestly want to be apart of it, and why. When you answer that I will decide, but of course, it's possible."

Mikasa poked her head out from under the covers, curious as to his answer as well. She had been asked this question as well, and she could remember her answer. She wondered what Boreal would say, enough for her eyes to be above the blanket, but not the rest of her.

Well that wasn't the answer he was hoping for. He should have expected that really. It didn't come as a huge surprise now that he thought about it. He was, as far as he could tell, screwed. There were no two ways about it. How would he be able to come up with an answer to satisfy her? The one thing he had wanted to do was to become strong enough to avenge his father and defeat Deliora. As it turned out, he wouldn't even get the chance. Dale and the others had seen to that. He had lost his chance at Galuna. The spell was broken and the resources that it had cost were lost, wasted by Sapphire Eclipse. He looked up at Evanora.
"Honestly, I've nowhere to go. My entire reason for learning magic was to become strong enough to destroy Deliora, to avenge my father. That won't be possible now, there's nowhere else to go." Boreal explained. "Now, I've got a lot of magical knowledge, a lot of it obscure and nothing to do with it. I could just go out there and waste myself away, or I could use it for something useful. I'll get more powerful, and maybe one day there will come a time when Deliora rises again and I will be needed to face it. I'll be ready if that day comes. In any case, I don't want to just waste my life away doing nothing with the talent I have. I'm one of the minority lucky enough to have it. To waste it would be an offence to the people that never got the chance." Perhaps that would be enough to convince her, but he wasn't sure. He spotted Mikasa glaring at him from under the covers. He sighed, picked up her pillow and threw it back at her.
"Don't throw it at me next time."

Evanora pondered this. "Mikasa, the start sounds like an answer almost similar to yours. You shouldn't glare at him like that." Evanora chuckled. She knelt down to his level and raised his chin up for him to look at her. "I won't throw you back out into the cold, though I doubt the cold would bother you. We've all had our differences, but where other Guilds may turn you away I won't." She spoke to him with a motherly sweetness now. "You are free to leave the Guild whenever you wish, but don't forget the kindness that will accepted you, and hopefully you will enjoy yourself here, but these are my terms."

"You put every fiber of your being into this Guild. You make friends here, and you become one of us as part of a family." Mikasa told Boreal in place of Evanora, repeating something she had heard years ago. He maybe was right. They were similar. They had different stories, but when it came down to it, they were both accepted when they had great magical power and no where to go with it.

"That reminds me of something I said. I think you can start by going to apologize to Calxiyn." Evanora told him.
