Jack's pov:

"If there were something to tell you Jack, to be truthful I would not without consulting Evanora and the others first. It is our responsibility to look after this guild, not yours or any of the other new members. That falls to us, and us exclusively." Caliborn had said. "Fair enough". If it was really up to Evenora, he feared the issue would never be dealt with. At lest Caliborn was looking into it that was something. He might have to look into it himself like he thought most likely would happen. Hopefuly it would be delt with and he wouldn't need to do anything. "Probably the biggest mistake I've made, and it is why I am far more diplomatic now, is that at one point early in my days here, I said something to a fellow Guild member. What I said proved to be very hurtful which I hadn't realised at the time, but it caused them a great deal of harm. I was able to reconcile it, but it was a mistake on my part. From that I learned to mind my words and be considerate. After all, a misplaced word may cause more damage than you might expect." Caliborn had said. "I didn't realize you and I had similar problems. I know all to well how one thing can turn out badly. I tried making someone feel better and probably made them feel worse." He stopped before suddenly saying. "One day your being chaced or the only person you ever known, disappears without a trace or both. Afaid they are dead, but never knowing. Everyone has something they are trying to fix. A heart that is broken might not be fully fixed but can heal. You feel you are more broken. Thinking maybe you could have done something to change the brokenness. As much as you wish to help everyone, there always seems to be the one that can't be helped or refuses it. We all have secrets." He stopped suddenly afaid he said to much. Afaid of the questions Caliborn could ask. He seemed sad and to be talking from experance. "Prehaps I can somehow help you and your friend. You helped me it is the lest I could do. It is ok if you rather I not. Or you don't want to talk about it or don't want my help. If I know you they way I think I do, you'll figure something out for your friend you seem to be able to help anyone no matter the problem. Maybe talk to your friend. Or maybe you already helped this friend and I am being silly. I am sorry I shouldn't be giving you advice. You don't need it." He felt horrible, sadness filling him it was probably showing. "Sorry Caliborn quite frankly it is none of my business to know. You don't have to tell me anything. I was trying to get to know you better. I want to get to know others in the guild better."

 

Ra pointed at Mikasa all dramatic like. "Something something traitor! Something something overstepped! Blah blah Wrath of Sapphire Eclipse Blah!" After his intense and dramatic speech full of emotions of betrayal and hurt and rage, Ra used Binding Strike. ​

 

Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht Carsten von Eisenstein II

Conrad nodded "I'll make sure to stay in bed for the day, avoid straining myself" He said, then Tessa and Damian conversed about learning the art of healing magic. Conrad took note of a single word Damian used: Banished. This manhad been sent out of his homeland? He wondered what the man had done to deserve that. "You have done me a great service, Damian, I will not forget that." Conrad remained silent for a few moments, long enough for him to hear what Tessa was saying and notice the nails digging into her palms. "Damian, if you don't mind me asking, you mentioned getting banished, what was the reason that happened? I apologise in advance if I overstepped my boundaries" He asked with genuine interest in his voice. He then turned to Tessa and smiled "You're welcome to stay, it would help against the silence."

Meanwhile far far away......

"Okay, I didn't see that one coming" Said the spirit more to himself than anyone else when the huntsman turned out to be a huntswoman. Apparantly she was supposed to maim Snow White's face "If this fails there's a simple three step plan I was taught by a good mate of mine. I'd suggest using that then." The spirit then went back to his own devices when the queen returned staring intently at him, Conrad's face was unmoved showing no emotion, but rather a neutral gaze. "Let me see what I can do...." He said as the image shifted first into a beautiful mountain landscape "hmmm no that's not it.." it changed again to about 22 people running around on a field after a sphere" definitely not it, how did that even end up here?" it then shifted to a beautiful sunrise, the spirit watched in awe as the skies went from blue and grey to orange then to pink only to give way to the orange orb appearing on the horizon. "Sorry 'bout that.." The image then turned into static "We're experiencing technical difficulties." After a little while the static slowly would give way to an image of Snow white until it was entirely cleared up "There we go, thank you for your patience."

 

This huntswoman thing really didn't suit Skadi at all. Murdering people really wasn't in her nature, although she didn't have much of a choice due to the queen being a heinous ***** while also being real nice about it, so the girl, not knowing what to do, raised the dagger she held high into the air and screamed bloody murder as she attempted to plunge the small blade into the heart of the fairest of them all.

"I picked it up off some rich dude after we beat him, though maybe he was a Celestial Spirit Wizard." After waiting around for a bit, Zephyr put the key onto the table in front of them before continuing his response to Alessia. "I've seen it work so it isn't broken, though last time she appear was of her own free will I guess."

Mikasa had finally gone off the deep end and it was time to literally knock some sense into her. So Veilen attacked with Binding Strike.

"I guess let them find out for themselves." Leo answered. While he didn't really mind telling other people, he wasn't exactly to type to do so and Silvia definitely wasn't so letting everyone else figure out was probably the better option suited to them.

Story Time I guess

Story/Prince Leo did whatever he was supposed to be doing at this point, assuming that he was supposed to be doing something right now.

"Sure I guess I could teach you what I know..."

Sam stared at his keyboard, what was he supposed to write now? He knew nothing about medicine or doctoring, how did they teach it? Sipping his tea he tried to remember that first aid course he took a long time ago, but he couldn't, something about recovery positions? CPR? Sam really hoped nobody had to rely on him to save their life. Sam took another sip of tea and decided to skip the question.

"... at some point. It won't be quick so er, I guess I'll find some other time" He said to Tessa. Suddenly Conrad asked him about being banished, Damian's heart skipped a beat and his mouth went dry. He was always uncomfortable talking about this "Um, well, yes" He looked down shyly "I used to be a part of the Vellister family until I was kicked out for... reasons" Conrad was nice and all but still a noble, and Damian wasn't comfortable talking to nobles, or anyone, about... himself. He didn't want to be rejected again, excluded, banished, because of one silly thing he couldn't stop.

It was at this moment Sam spilled his tea. Curses, that was good tea as well. Of course all the tea Sam made was good but that one was especially good, and it was just at the right temperature. Sam hated to waste good tea.

 

Conrad Heinrich Adelbrecht Carsten von Eisenstein II

Conrad had made a wrong assumption about the type of banishment, apparantly the man in front of him had been part of the Vellister family, he vaguely recalled the name, but couldn't recall much else about them. Damian looked down and his words gave away this wasn't a subject to be discussed at the time, maybe some time in the future, maybe Conrad would never learn. Either way it was no use to attempt to discuss it any further, something had happened and Damian had been banished, end of story. "I am sorry to hear that, I'm apologise for asking about something that clearly is a sensitive subject. I will refrain from asking any further." Conrad said, wanting to look the man in the eyes as he said it to show he meant it, but he was still looking down. "Thank you, once again for your help." He added, truly grateful for what the man had done for him.

He looked back to Tessa, still uncertain why she had come to this room in the first place, he'd inquire later, but from her words, he had figured that she truly did come here for him, it was a curious little thing, particularly the reason why was something he couldn't really figure out. Sure, he was a nobleman, but she hadn't known that prior to Vance bringing it up. So that put him to just being a mage, not the best on around either. The only reason he could think of would have been something that had to do with that earlier conversation. But with the raw emotion of what had just come to pass, still in his mind he doubted that if it was something he had done wrong, which he felt like he had, would be discussed.

Tessa walked over to the bed that Conrad rested on and turned around, before sliding down. Her back against the frame and her knees pulled up to her chest, she let her hair fall forward to frame her face, taking a couple of the strands in her fingers and beginning to braid them. "Whenever you have the time." she replied softly, sensing Damian's uncertainty. Was he afraid of her? Or was he just afraid in general?

She still had to talk to Conrad, but she would wait until Damian was gone. It seemed like such a silly thing now. But she might as well follow through, now that she was here. Although it seemed conceivable that his anger from the previous conversation might now be directed at her lack of control. She hunched over slightly. No, he said we were friends. But friends fought. Even new friends. All she could do was wait to bring it up. No backing out now. No more running. She promised herself. If she left destruction behind, she had to fix it.

 

Alright, now I know I haven't made a post as Charlotte in a while...well really, I haven't made a post as anyone recently. So I guess I'll be posting as myself, saying that I am now posting as Charlotte and putting the utmost amount of effort in said post. It will be as follows:

"Thanks" Damian smiled shyly at the others in the room and made to leave "I'll see you around" and left the room.

Sam wondered where Damian would go next. He did not have a cup of tea, that was problematic. He didn't know if there were any teabags left and either way it was getting late. Suddenly Sam realised he was writing about himself again and quickly got back to Damian

Damian wandered around the guild and made himself a cup of tea. As he walked around a corridor he bumped into a massive stone statue "Oh, hello, Malkira was it?"

"Is that a cup of tea?" Malkira eyed the cup with wonder "Ah, it's been so long since I've had a cup of tea!"
"Oh. That must suck" Damian eyed the statue nervously, he wasn't really sure how to act around this guy
"Indeed, but luckily I've found a way to become human again! It's just remarkable, the Oracle told me" Malkira stated happily
"The... Oracle?"
"You haven't heard? we picked up an ancient artifact on our journey, everyone gets to ask the Oracle one question"
"Huh, I'll have to give that a look" Damian made a mental note to check that out and went on his way. As he passed by Cassandra's room he noticed she was hurt and some guy was in there "Oh, is something wrong? Uh, I'm Damian" He smiled awkwardly as he entered the room "I'm a healer, can I er help maybe?"

 

Guild Hall



Ander's pov:
He was getting rather bored. He sent out a letter to every rper to come talk to him so you could do something other then just sit there. After bugging and pleading and bribing some person came by. He was waiting for Cassandra to say something maybe she fell asleep or died. Then he let the thought pass, because he could see her breathing. He stood up and pick up the paper from the bed he had put there before. He was sure that Cassandra was not going to read it anyways. He then made his way back to the chair that was in the corner and took a seat again. Maybe something interesting would happen soon. That was unlikely, but he could sure hope. That was all he had. Hope was a odd thing in a way. He had hoped for the curse that was on him to be gone by now. He hoped for a friend, but did not have one. In some ways hope was pointless and in other that was all people had. It was all he could say he had left. Soon a person stood by the door before he entered. He smelled of shame and alcohol and maybe something else that he could not pick up. He felt like he was going to throw up. He could feel it coming. He had to fight with feeling to just throw up all over everything. After awhile he was able to fight the feeling off. He was not sure how long he could, but he would work with it for the time being. Then the man said his name was Damian. Then Damian asked if something wrong said he was a healer. "I think that you need more help then I do. Do you know how bad Alcohol is for you?" He was confused by this man being here. "There is nothing you can do for Cassandra. If there was something to do I would have already did it." Why was Damian here other then the fact Garrett asked him to come? "So what brings you here? If you are looking for the showers they are down the hall and to the left." He was half joking and half being serous to Damian. A healer was a odd thing in a way. There were few in the guild. There was one thing he could say though. "You are new to the guild?" He said it as more of a fact then a question.

 

Dale heard Johanna scream and his eyes narrowed. He'd have to rely on them to deal with Mikasa, for now it sounded like Johanna was somewhere else and he had to get to her fast. Mikasa had made some mention of Boreal, which infuriated him further. He had to get Johanna away from him. The implications of the witch's words were not lost in him. He had to protect the girl he loved.
"I need to go find Johanna!" Dale exclaimed and sprinted out of his room towards the tower that he knew Mikasa spent a lot of her time in. If Johanna were anywhere, then she would be in there. And so would Boreal. That was the last straw. His half-brother had already tormented him enough, now it was too far. The first time they had met it was Boreal that had tried to kill Dale. This time, Dale would kill him if he was even laying a finger on her. ​

 

Snow White


Calxiyn gasped loudly, playing the part of the crowd. "Snow white collapsed to the frozen ground of the garden, her hot blood staining the white lilies red." Calxiyn spoke as the narrator. "“The vain queen glanced at the spirit of the mirror, banishing him from her sight to gaze upon her own beauty.”


Calxiyn walked over to the 'dead' Silvia. "And now, the huntsman visits the Queen to bring her the heart. However at the same time, a noble prince of the nearby kingdom and his adviser hear the girl’s dying scream and rushes to her aid."


Mission Tips:

Calxiyn will feed you lines if your character doesn't know what to do.
Calxiyn will get huffy if you stray too much from the story she's telling, so try to act in character.
Your character can still be awkward while speaking etc.
Calxiyn will also do special effects for you if you give her a 'cue'.
For Halloween Missions I will use Black and Orange Text.

"Run to the forest, run!"

"I can't! The forest is dangerous! My sister went in there and never returned!" Clarissa cried.

"You must risk it, you must take the dark path! Your fate awaits you! Go, now!" Zephyros then pointed his sword at Vance. "En garde!"





"The forest is dark, and scary. Clarissa enters, trembling, fearful of what fate awaits her. She comes to a fork in the road and stops." Calxiyn then got back into her character.

"Which way do I go?"

"A Hag appears."

Clarissa screamed falling to her knees. "Oh my good, wise fairy, tell me what I must give you in order to pass..."

Charlotte used Barrier Surge. It did 11 damage but with Defence it did 24 damage. She blocked for Gexln.
Velien used Binding Strike. It did 34 damage, but with Strength and Magic and Weapon it did 68 damage.
Thomas used Thunder. It did 4 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 27 damage.

Mikasa's defense reduced 33 damage. She took 364 damage.

Mikasa used Poison Dragon's Crushing Fang on Ra.



Mikasa attacked Ra with her poison-covered fingertips, from which a poisonous mist trailed. She zipped around him with her gear before standing in front of them again. "Silence, Traitor. You go willing against one that is higher of your rank, the third in command. You're the traitor, Ra."

It did 59 damage, but with Magic it did 81 damage.

Ra's defense reduced 5 damage.

Johanna soared through the sky, but as she looked back down at the tower she could have sworn she saw Dale. A smile crossed her face as she flew back inside, and she turned back into herself. "Dale, you're alright!" Johanna rejoiced, putting her arms around him. "I saw you as I was flying out of the tower. What's going on out there?" Johanna asked Dale. She self consciously looked down at her dress, and fixed her bow. She had worn this hoping she and Dale would go out to the town.

 

As he raced up the steps to the tower he saw something approaching the window. Fearing the worst, he prepared to dodge aside as Boreal fired off an icy projectile at him. Instead, the bird flew inside and quickly shifted into Johanna who threw her arms around him. His face lit up and he drew his arms tightly around her waist. The tension in his body melted away as he felt the girl he loved pressed against his chest. He felt her face close to his, and high on his elation he felt a surge of confidence. In that moment, he felt that there was only one thing that he could do. He kissed Johanna on the cheek and squeezed her a little bit harder before relaxing his hold on her.
"Thank God, Johanna... You're alright..." He smiled at her, looking into her eyes. Her dress was a little dirty, but that was it. She didn't look like she had been harmed that much. She asked what was happening and he released her, his smile fading, replaced by a serious look. "We're reining Mikasa in. She told me that she was going to kill you, or hurt you, so I grabbed the others and we rushed back to stop her. It looks like she's finally lost it and now they're fighting as we speak. She was always unstable Johanna, but she's gone way too far now. I should probably get back and help once I've got you somewhere safe." Dale clenched his left fist at his side while explaining the situation. Even if he was keeping his face neutral, she would know him well enough to see the anger boiling below the surface reflected in his eyes.




Story Time!!!

"What do you think you're doing girl, flee into that forest and you shall perish! Whatever you may believe, I do not wish to see you dead!" Vance Braxton Prendergast exclaimed. He whipped around and drew his blade on the impetuous fool (Zephyros, still impetuous and still a fool even in the story). "You shall pay for this mongrel! Denying me my prize and sending her to her death? Hah, you're worse than the man you claim me to be!" Vance assaulted his opponent with a flurry of furious blow from his rapier.

Back in the real world

"Listen Thea, this is why you're at this Guild now. I, as well as the other wizards shall teach to control your magic. When we are ready and our magic is controlled, we shall move on and live normally. I may return to my family when I have mastered my own abilities, we shall get you formally adopted into the family and then Thea, then you will have your normal life. Some of my associates have daughters your age and you can play with them, or with boys if you particularly want to. Things will be fine, I promise you that. We will train you Thea. I will help you. When I took you on as my daughter, I did so with the implicit promise of giving you a good life. It is hard now, but that is the nature of life." Vance spoke, stroking Thea's hair to try and comfort her. "I have learned recently, that our lives are different to many others. Just as they do not understand us, we do not understand them. Some are envious, others are indifferent. People might dislike us now, but there are people that do like us. You have some friends in the guild I believe. Conrad and I are solving our differences. We will have a place in this Guild while we are here, because we will make one for ourselves. I'll make one for you." After that, Thea apologised and she looked up, clearly exhausted. He smiled a little as the barn burned and collapsed. It was hard to believe that so much destructive power was contained within the little girl in his arms.
"It is fine. Come on, I shall get you back to the guild. But please, try not to burn down any more public property otherwise we might have other problems." Vance picked her up and started to carry her back to the guild, however not a couple of minutes later, he set Thea down again with a somewhat embarrassed look. He was trying to carry her back like a proper father would, unfortunately he lacked the physical strength and his arms were aching. "Actually Thea, do you think you could walk the rest of the way? It's been a long day and I am tired." Yeah, that was totally the reason he couldn't carry her.




"Huh, figures. Maybe the S-Classes will kn- Wait, it's a girl?" Alessia looked at the key suspiciously with a hint of irrational irritation. Why she felt so... Personal about it was beyond her. It wasn't like the key even listened to him anyway so what did it matter? Her eyes returned to his face. "What did she look like? I mean, long hair, short hair, tall, short, eye colour, other stuff?" ​

 

Skadi looked at the small rock she held in her hand. This rock was meant to represent Snow White's heart in the halloween story thing. She had off-screen cut out the heart and put it inside of a box that she had laid on the ground. Picking up the box now, she put the rock in it and then took a whole two steps to the side. If it were a movie, there would've been a transition or something to indicate travel, but due to budgeting they simply couldn't afford that. "My queen, I have returned to you bearing the heart of Snow White. I request you do not ask me how I obtained this, for I do not truly know myself, but...here" the ice mage said, putting the box gently on the ground.


"He's the traitor? I'm sorry who is the one threatening death?" Gexln asked rhetorically. He readied his blade and prepared to attack. "With the amount of bullshit that you're pulling I'll be surprised if you're even capable of leading after this. Attempted murder, cancelling someone else's mission without their permission, and picking on a guy just because he points out your stupidity? You're lucky we have Evanora as a guild master, any other guild master would've actually done something about it by now" the dragon slayer said, leaping forward and attacking with shadow dragon's claw.

As Damian left the room had grown quiet again. Conrad got himself back under the covers of his bed again. The movement sent a shock of pain through his chest and he breathed in sharply, he turned onto his side to look at Tessa as she sat down at the side of his bed. She was busy braiding a few strands of hair, he couldn't see her face, but he knew there was a lot going through her head right now. He could feel the back of his head throb and was reminded of the fact that some of his hair and his pillow were still stained with his own blood, but he didn't care about that right now. He decided to be the one to break the silence. "I know this may come out of the blue, but I apologise for lying to you, Tessa, Vance was right, I too am nobility, I refrain from mentioning it when introducing myself, because I don't want to get treated differently only because I was born into a noble family and I know that's a lot to ask for especially when there's someone like Vance around...." He said a light tone of sadness laying underneath his normal voice. He just watched for a few more moments as she braided her hair, she had just gone through a few different strong emotions and it had left it's marks. "How are you feeling? Are you okay?" He asked genuinely wondering how she felt, he looked at her, but knew she wasn't looking back at him.

Tessa nearly retched at the idea of holding a human heart in her hands. However, she swallowed her vomit like a champ and took the box from the ground, opening it and peering inside. A small pit of relief formed in her stomach, thankfully the props weren't so real that they had actually taken the time to find a human heart that wasn't being used. And before that train of thought went any further, Tessa shut the box and quickly set it to the side. "Yes, um, thanks." She muttered, her hands twisting behind her back in distress.

Tessa shrugged, her fingers flying through the strands of hair. Braiding was something she had copious amounts of practice at, so much so she could have done it in her sleep, if people did that sort of thing while sleeping. "Why would you ask? Why do you care? You just met me. I understand why you would take the..." She stopped and swallowed past the lump in her throat. "The hit, for Vance. But why ask about me?" She tried to disregard Conrad's words about hiding he was a noble. She was hiding things too, and she didn't have the strength or capacity of mind or emotion to reveal them now, much less to someone she had just met, and attacked. The braid now finished, it slipped from her fingers and hit her collarbone with a slight thump.

"I just don't get it." Because she didn't. How could someone she caused so much pain to, someone who didn't know what she had done or who she could be, call her friend? And beyond that..."You should sleep." She muttered next, her tone only slightly admonishing. Conrad had been sleeping when she walked in, and he should be resting now, so his body could heal.

Conrad took in everything she asked him, why did he care? Good question, he hadn't really expected the question. He himself could ask a difficult question like that as well, but he wouldn't ask them before he felt like he had sufficiently answered her question. "Why ask about you? Well you were present during that...." He searched a moment for the proper word to use "...mess, for the lack of proper term... You were involved in that as well and I just want to make sure everyone involved is doing okay... furthermore I've noticed some things that you do that tell me you aren't doing okay and well, I don't know any other way to get to that subject. And I am aware we've only met today and I only have seen signals and based my assumptions on that, I haven't got you figured out.... I deeply apologise if I overstepped a boundary, I only wanted to make sure you're okay.... We're in the same guild now and to me guildmates look after one another, for no one should have to walk the roads shrouded in darkness alone... It's a long and lonely road, when you know you walk alone.... I can't help but care about those around me, no matter if they do so in return or how long I've known them, but that's my cross to bear... Again from the bottom of my heart, I apologise if I wronged you...." Conrad spoke, the emotions laced through his voice. "Now, before I go back to sleeping, let me ask you something.... When I went to bed you were busy getting acquainted with a few others and discussing training, while I am aware that time doesn't stand still, what is it that brought you to this room?"
