Caliborn watched Malkira handle the situation. Expertly done. Truthfully, he couldn't have done it better himself.
"Well done everyone, I'm proud of the way all of you have handled this." Caliborn spoke. He took a pouch and took the Hand of Midas away from Balthazar, who he nodded at. "Yes, we will keep this safe. Although I suspect you'll find that it won't be used at all." The pouch turned into a gold material, that still moved like cloth somehow. Magic, strange old thing. Given that, he was surprised that X was turned to solid gold. The Hand sure had some interesting rules. He looked around at the group. Their work here was done as far as he could see and everyone had comported themselves well on the mission. He was pleased by the display of camaraderie from Malkira and Calxiyn. It seemed that teamwork was certainly alive and well in Sapphire Eclipse. Evanora, he knew, would be pleased.
"Very well, I believe our business here is concluded. Shall we make our way back? Wait- One more thing." Caliborn disappeared for a moment and returned with the Oracle Staff. "Now, I believe we are ready to leave."




Alessia stood there watching people talk and didn't say anything because she had no idea what to say. So basically, she just stands there not doing a lot.




"Very well, if you'll indulge me a couple of minutes I must have a word with somebody I met. Then we can return to the Guild Hall. I have business with a certain individual who behaved most strangely to me." Vance said, before walking over to Florica. You. While Shani and I were speaking you said something to Conrad. Or at least, something happened which led to him suddenly avoiding me. I have to wonder, what is it that caused such behaviour from him? He swiftly approached, back straight and held up to his full height. He held his hands behind his back when he reached her and looked at her straight in the eyes. "Did you perchance to say anything about me to Conrad? He and I don't get along especially well it has to be said, but he certainly does not walk away from company at the very sight of me I can tell you that much. So, what happened exactly? It had to have happened while Shani and I were speaking downstairs and I know you pulled him aside to talk about something. Care to explain? After all, it does very much hamper any future teamwork we may have to do in the Guild in the future. Fate has an odd habit of putting us in the same place."​

Jack's pov: "Zephyr is right, just say what exactly kind of magic your having trouble with. What type of magic, fire, healing, air. For example if you need help lets say with fire. You would try not burning something such as a leaf or peace of paper but the leaf or paper should be on fire. Your goal would be to try to keep in from burning as long as possible. Now lets say you need help with healing. I say you would first want to talk to Silvia. You would want to trying healing something like a paper cut. I'm generalizing examples." He didn't have anything else to add, so desided not to say anything more.

Tessa, doing the most daring thing she had ever done in her life, grabbed the nearest chair and sat down, her legs tired. "I think it's um...air magic?" She murmured, grabbing a strand of hair and nervously braiding it between her fingers. With her answer, she had thus replied to both guild members asking her questions. "But I don't know for sure." She amended, her fingers braiding faster as she talked. "Is there a way to tell?" She asked weakly, licking her lips nervously at the thought of doing to the guild hall what had happened to her home. What happened to her parents, to these people who had been so kind to her.

"Well you could show us your magic, that could help." Zephyr suggested, looking towards Alessia who had been left out. "Do you have any suggestions on how to help her?" Like he had said before, air magic wasn't his strong suit, but magic was still magic and there was probably something that would show how she could control her magic.

As a result of his greed and other factors, X had been turned to gold by the hand of Midas that he sought out. Balthazar had asked for them to take it and guard it while he went traveling, which Caliborn agreed to do. Now all that was left for them was to head back to the guild.

This was without a doubt the most awkward moment that Leo has even been in so when Silvia said that she'd be willing go give a relationship between the two of them a try, the new feelings that he was experiencing stir about some more within him. "S-Sure." His hand had been placed in his pockets as he looked at his feet. He heard Silvia thanking him. A smile started to show on his face as he lifted his head up to say. "No problem." Now the question is, what do they do now?

 

"The help Thea has gotten hasn't come from you, Ander. It is Vance who has taken the girl in as her own, something I believe wouldn't have happened if she were not in the Guild." Evanora explained to Ander. "Sapphire Eclipse is a guild that is very dear to the hearts of many people. I do not see it as if it were in danger. It is growing rapidly, and due to this there are many problems as well as solutions to many." Evanora continued. "These past few months, a lot has happened. I never imagined it to go this way. As for your worries, I don't know if they are solidly found. Another Guild took care of the missions we left behind, and there will be times where you will feel like you don't fit in, even surrounded by your closes friends."

"Don't be disheartened." Cassandra coughed quietly. "You were great on the last mission, this is the beginning of your greatness."







"Fantastic, I suppose we should head home then." Balthazar looked saddened.

"Balthazar, you have what you wanted now, aren't you happy?" Calxiyn tried to give him a smile as she lifted the group up on her Keyblade Gilder.

"I am, truly, I tell you." Balthazar said. "But, I really enjoyed the adventure we shared, rather then the prize itself. But with it I will go help my family, if they are still willing to have me return. But I'd still like to see you again, my friends."

"No matter where we go, we'll always be connected. If you ever need anything, whether to use the Hand or to see us, please come and visit, okay?" Calxiyn gave him another bright smile. Balthazar laughed. Balthazar took off his headdress, and used the Hand to change it into Gold.

"I think this should hold me off for a while, but here." From his vest, he had a small piece of paper, and he changed it to Gold as well. "Use these for your fair, and call on the biggest, grandest boat you can." He gave it to Caliborn. "But all that glitters is not gold." Balthazar nodded. He then went onto the Captain's deck, and started to move the ship.

From there, the group went back to Sapphire Eclipse, but from their boat they could see Balthazar, riding on a horse into the unknowns of the desert.

Ander's pov:
Evanora seemed to not understand. "I see the path of the same. Do you not remember that Levi attacked me or the your guild got attacked, or the countless other things that happened here?" He stopped for a moment. "There are stronger dark guild out there and I do not want to see this guild make the mistake other have done." He took a look through his bag he pulling out several newspaper going through a few he found one he was looking for and put it next to the bed next to Evanora. "That is just one of many stories of dark guilds" he said. Then Evanora said, 'times where you will feel like you don't fit in, even surrounded by your closes friends.' "I have no friends" He then turned to Cassandra it was really dishearting to see her in this state and he would help her if she wanted it or not. "I do not want greatness what I want the guild can not give me. I see that now." He walked over to Cassandra and put his hand on her and gave her some of his energy. He really could care less if she wanted it or not. He made his way from Cassandra and to the door. "That is all" He stood by the door waiting for a response. "Not everything is simple and the path is not always easy but I can see that you may find it one day."

Training guilds and what happens
Summer 8 years ago​

Every wizard guild has a story today we look at a training guild that we are not sure what happened. We found out of this training guild which we name to withhold the name so it will be referent to number 7. It Seems that this guild sent a large amount of people to Walking Planes. We went there and found that every single person that went died. This guild was well know for its high skilled mages. There was at least 20 people on said mission, authorities were unable to find all bodies but we are sure there are not survivors. Later we found out that number 7 was attacked by a dark guild. The result after all of this is that with the mission and the guild being attack all member died. All 50 people from this guild is presumed dead at this time. The only person uncounted for is the guild master who went missing. For someone to take out a guild of this size it would have had to be a powerful dark guild.

 

Gaius used Quick Blitz. He flew at Sheeptard and punched their foe straight in the horns, cracking two of them. It did 5 damage, but with strength, speed and weapon it did 68 damage!

Ra used Binding Strike. He swung his magical staff thing and clobbered the poor *******, dealing 20 damage, but with strength, speed, magic and weapon it did 82 damage!

Veilen used Fire dash. His sword became engulfed in the flames of hell itself as he launched himself directly at the sheep king, dealing 25 damage but with speed, magic and weapon it did 57 damage!

Thomas used Sliding Dash. Faster than the speed of light (which is impressive given his mediocre speed stat) Thomas slammed into Sheeptard, dealing 18 damage, but with speed and I'm assuming weapon (can't be ****ed to figure it out okay) it did 36 damage!

Rennette used Barrier Surge. Cloaking herself in an impenetrable shield, she began glowing as she rocketed straight into their wooly foe, dealing 15 damage but with defence it did 26 damage! The glow retained, keeping her invincible for the round as she blocked for Gaius!

Charlotte used Fire Surge. Her body began radiating with the flames of justice themselves before she slammed into the roast lamb with the force of a meteor, dealing 30 damage but with defence and magic she did 48 damage! She then allied with her flame bro, protecting Gaius despite the other guardian beating her to it!

All together, the party inflicted 317 damage with their completely legitimate and not rigged at all rolls! Sheeptard's defence also conveniently reduced 0 of that damage!

HOWEVER

Sheeptard had an ace up his sleeve the whole time. Due to everyone attacking him at the same time, his second chance and once more ability kicked in, keeping the prick alive at 1 hp! What are the odds of that happening?

Assault and Baahttery: The Sheep King plucks a lamb from the earth itself and slams it into his chest with supreme, manly gusto, causing the lamb to stick to his woolly awesomeness and provide a temporary meatshield, and nobody can ever take that away from it.

Unstoppable Fleece: Despite his manly ego, Sheeptard is a little....sheepish, and is quite easily startled. Each attack landed on him has a 5% chance to engulf the attacker in the fluffiest wool imaginable, reducing the damage on their next attack by 50%.

Lambassador: While Sheeptard mourns the loss of his woolen brethren, he also respects the laws of the land and the means for survival, and so he consumes his fallen lamb friends, gaining 50 hp back whenever one of his meatshields are destroyed, as well as +5 damage on his next attack.

Counting Sheep: Sheeptard casts his magic on an enemy, causing them to feel drowsy as illusions of small sheep began running by them and leaping over fences. After three turns, the victim falls into a deep slumber. Lasts 3 turns.

Crap! He was late to the boss raid again. Now wasn't the time to raise his alchemy but hey, when you find rare plants, you take the time for the experience. Well, given his late appearance he was somewhat sure that the team could have taken down the boss by now. On second thought, they were garbage without him. Finally he arrived to come to a pitiful excuse for a team... he just let out a sigh.

"Really. Who sent the low leveled noobs to fight Sheeptard? I mean you guys are practically feeding this thing. Its a boss, not just a normal enemy. You have to think about how to defeat it, how to actually, oh I don't know, deal damage!? But instead, you all decided to come into this boss battle with peasant armor. The guy with black hair staring at the girl's chests the entire time looks like he belongs in a bath house, spikey red haired guy is just asking the boss to attack him with that distracting scarf, the one girl with white hair is bleeding. I'm all for using women as shields but at least make her the front lines or something. She'll be better as a meet shield since she is already damaged. At least the blonde girl over here is wearing actual armor. But you guys thought about using a distraction by feeding him poultry which is smart, but from what I can see, the bird is doing better against the boss than all of you. The freaking Mccdonals Happy Meal is winning the MVP metal for having armor on and doing damage." The black haired man gave a thumbs up to Ra and then turned to the boss.

"Look, this is how you beat a boss." He gave a single slash with his sword and the boss was cut in half, dead on the ground. "Gasp! I must have just learned the most powerful magic in all existence! Such a magic could only be bestowed upon those who were destined for such greatness. The ability to kill things with a single slash. The gods must know of my talents and blessed me with the almighty magic. This magic could not be learned by anyone, oh no. It is too complicated for any normal person to use. It takes skill and conviction to achieve such a thing. Perhaps some day, all of you can learn to achieve such a skill. The gods will only react to those though who are pure of heart, soul, and body. You must go my children! Go to learn this skill for it will save your lives!"

The man began to mutter under his breath, "Next time I'm tying the low levels to a pole and using them as aggro food in the next boss I swear. Kirito out."​

For a sheep that had an attack that did absolutely nothing, it sure was taking a while to actually defeat it and right when it looked like the fucker would finally go down, it had survived on a solid one health. One of them could probably sneeze and it'd go down. Even Thomas, and he was still drunk from his drinking contest with Edric. Before any of them could deliver said sneeze, a black haired sword's man had basically committed a kill steal of a already weaken boss, belittled four out of the six of them and left. Not being sure what to make of what had just happened, Veilen choose to ignore it and focus on the fact that the sheep had been defeated now. "We finally got that lousy sheep out of the way."

The sight of seeing Silvia actually smile was a surprise. A pleasant surprise cause with his current mindset her smiled made her look noticeable cuter. Critical hit, right through the kokoro, yeah that pretty much sums up the feeling of seeing her smile. This definitely was going to be something to get used to. She had gently taken hold of his hand and was currently looking him in the eye as she spoke about her lack of knowing what to do in this situation. "I promise." Leo replied with a gentle smile. Whatever she knew was likely more than he did so there wasn't much room for him to get mad at her in the first place.

It was an odd sensation, holding Silvia's cold hands in his warm ones, but it was also an enjoyable sensation. Silvia had asked what do they do now? A clear plea for Leo to hopefully take charge. He certainly couldn't just dump the responsibility of finding out what to do onto Silvia, that would be a cruel thing t o do to her. That didn't change that he still wasn't sure what to do either. Leo thought about it for a bit before deciding to go with the simplest option that came to mind. "We could continue our walk to start off."

 

Well, that brought an end to yet another nonsensical encounter. They always seemed to find completely random creatures that had no reason to exist, let alone be there. The man who finished it off also seemed to fit this role, as he appeared out of nowhere, KSed the boss, belittled most of the team, and then walked away after calling him a Mcdonald's happy meal as well as the most useful member of the team. That was an encounter.

"We should proceed to the Inn. We've wasted enough time on these encounters." Ra said, walking in front of the rest of the group, toward their initial destination. ​

 

Mikasa carried behind her, an almost, lifeless, body. It was a body of a humanoid lizard, bruised heavy and openly leaving a body trail behind her. It was muttering to itself, prettified, shaking, and pointing ahead. When Mikasa saw Gexln in his group in the distance, as well as the Hotel the lizard had been leading her too, she grabbed the lizard with her bare strength, and threw him in front of the group.

She walked forward, and as she walked, covered in blood, her enemies blood, you could hear the loud footsteps echo throughout the lonely piece of land. She stepped over the body of her lizard, and turned to look over at the group. Her swords were burning red with fire. Her face contorted into what was a simply menacing look. Her piercing eyes shot into Gexln as if they were the ends of her swords.

"You are horribly incompetent." Mikasa stated. This wasn't a question, but it sounded to be a fact. She wasn't loud. This wasn't an anger that could be expressed by shouting, but only sheer silence. "So much so that you can walk right into a trap with new members, and not question it at all. You are inept for being S-Class." She walked around Gexln now, her swords in the same position as she stepped. For a moment it looked like she was about to yell. Instead, she stabbed one of her swords into the prisoner she had dragged all the way from town to this spot. Blood spurted from it's body. "This beast, came from in there. It attacked me by surprise in broad daylight. Make no mistake when I tell you: Without the knowledge of what this creature can do, your blood will be stained throughout that hotel." Her voice was cold, but powerful. She knew exactly which words to use, which words to say louder then maybe some others. She knew how to make people fear.

She then turned to the group. "Go back home. That is, if you enjoy living your lives, and not being 6 feet under in the cold ground of the earth, or having your insides ripped from you piece by piece. Go back home. That is, if you believe me when I tell you that even I had trouble fighting this beast. Go back home. That is, if you doubt your leaders ability to be able to lead a team without putting that team to death, which would have happened to you in a very short time." She then looked back to Gexln, only a few centimeters from his face. Their noses touched as she spoke.

"A 'dragon', Gexln? How moronic, no, how asinine are you?" Her eyes were haunting. "'Dragon Slayer', you are not S-Class material." She spat.

Majestically Malkira strode through the doors of the Sapphire Eclipse "Greetings mortals!" He said happily, this mission had gone well, and he felt like a valid member of the team, he'd saved Cal's life, and he felt he finally had a friend. Also the search for humanity was progressing at last. "That went surprisingly well, also, if anyone wants we've brought back a magical oracle who can answer any of your questions. You're welcome" He bowed and almost skipped (I'm not sure a statue can skip) into the hall.

 

"It's fine." Leo replied, letting Silvia freely hold his hand. He wasn't sure just what to do so he had basically given Silvia control over the hand that she was holding. It had made him feel a bit better that she said that holding his hand made her feel safer. Their walk had been a quiet one as Leo both tried to think of something to say as well as something for them to do or at least look at. He wasn't having much look in terms of thinking of something to say, so he was more hoping to find something while they were walking around. Out of the corner of his eyes, something stuck out to Leo. Turning his head towards what he had seen, he noticed that it was a flower stand. Maybe he should start there. "Do you want a flower?" Leo ask, motioning towards the flower stand.

 

Gexln let Mikasa have her little rant, pushing off the corpses of the defeated sheep that had assaulted him. For once, he actually sat there and simply listened as someone gave him a lecture. However, where she crossed the line was accusing him of not defeating the dragon. "Incompetent? Damn Mikasa, I wasn't aware I was supposed to walk around thinking 'oh **** maybe I should be careful, the next corner could have an unbelievably annoying sheep', especially not after I'd gone to the place Dale had sent me to. You think you're so good at this? These guys handled themselves fine, they didn't need me. But even if they had, at least i was here. You always seem to piss off and go find something else to do from what I've heard" Gexln responded.

He turned to look at the others there. "Ignore what she says. If you couldn't handle it, you wouldn't be here. We'll be fine, just keep going forward with the mission" the dragon slayer stated. Glaring at Mikasa, he started walking past her. "I defeated a dragon before you were even part of the guild, and I'd beaten the S-class trials younger than anyone else except maybe Quinn, so you can shut your hole before I shut it for you. If you wanna fight I'll take you on after this, but don't you dare come here on my mission and try to get in my way of finding out what happened to the dragons. You get between me and that, and not even Evanora will be able to stop me from tearing you apart limb from limb. Come on guys, lets get this thing over and done with" he hissed angrily, before walking past Mikasa and into the building, ignoring her warning.


"Trap or not, we kicked its ass. And we'll do it again. Those lizard things don't scare me, I'm going with Gexln" Gaius said. He started walking past Mikasa, before he stopped and laughed. Turning around, he opened his mouth to speak. "Besides, it's not like we have anything better to do is it? If you're scared just wait out here and we'll come back for you Mikasa" Gaius teased, a friendly jab before he laughed once more and wandered into the building, following behind Gexln.​

 

Alessia thought about that for a moment. Did she have any way she could help?
"Well, I know a little wind magic. I think most people do here to be honest. Not much though." To demonstrate, Alessia performed a weak Aero on a nearby seat pushing it across the hall a short ways before it fell over. "That's a basic Aero spell that a lot of people know. It's got enough force to shove someone over but that's about it. I guess if you wanted to try and learn to control something, you could... I don't know. Like, maybe... Maybe practice with the chair? Try throwing it certain distances by using a certain amount of magic energy? More power, more distance. if you get it...? You know, never mind, I'm not a very good wizard to be honest. I'm more of an up close and personal person." She tapped on the sword strapped to her back. "The most impressive things I can do are create an impenetrable shield for a short time and create a flame wall around me when I charge in. I'm a bit of a combat focused wizard. More hitting things with magic to help than shooting fireballs and ****. The reason I even know a bit of wind magic is so I can shove people over so the getting close is easier."




"Good day to all of you present, we have returned!" Caliborn declared as they walked into the hall. The sight of the large golem bouncing excitedly into the hall was quite something. There's something about that. It just doesn't seem real. The miracles of Sapphire Eclipse everyone.He cleared his throat as if to announce something and raised the Oracle Staff. "This everyone who is interested, is an Oracle. You may ask it one question and it shall answer. And don't ask how it works. That does count as a question."

So Mikasa had showed up, covered in blood of the lizard creature she was carrying behind her. That woman sure knew how to make someone fell uncomfortable. She proceeded to warn them about apparent risks there and such. "Well you did kinda go there alone with no one to have your back." Veilen started. Yeah she was an S-class, but a sneak attack could prove to be one downfall if they didn't have support. "The seven of us can handle whatever they throw at us." There wasn't a hint of doubt in his voice as he walked over to Thomas, who was still crying over shooting himself in the foot. "You're still here so we can finish this mission." Veilen then helped Thomas up to his feet, letting the drunken sniper use him as a crutch til his foot stopped hurting, and walked followed behind Gaius and Gexln.

 

Ra stood silent during the time Mikasa spoke. What he felt towards her was not fear, but caution. She was dangerous, to say the least. Whether or not she would ever seriously turn on them was yet to be seen, but should she ever, it would be bad. Gexln harshly snapped back at her, before marching off into the Inn. Ra sighed when Gaius and Veilen followed. "Mikasa, if someone has bothered taking the time to set up a trap for us, then someone clearly has the mind to cause us harm. If this fails, then surely there will be another attempt. The only real way to find out anything about this trap would be to walk into it, albeit prepared for the dangers. If you say there will be more of these creatures, then why not accompany us and elaborate on their capabilities?" Ra suggested to the S-class woman.

He strode forward with the rest of his team, feeling as though Charlotte were likely to follow as well. Renette was a wild card. No one could tell what she was going to do. "Not only that...Something is amiss. I'm not only worried about why we were lead here, but how. Who was it that told us about the Inn? Perhaps he was tricked, but then again, perhaps not. I fear we should prepare for the worst, in the event it does arise." ​

 

Guild hall:

Jack's pov: "I guess if you wanted to try and learn to control something, you could... I don't know. Like, maybe... Maybe practice with the chair? Try throwing it certain distances by using a certain amount of magic energy? More power, more distance. if you get it...? " Alessis had said. "You could use a chair if you really want, but if you want to start smaller." He stopped and handed Tessa a leaf. "You could use that. Chairs are a solid choice, although I am not sure how the other members of the guild would feel about flying chairs, pehaps they woud like it." "You know, never mind, I'm not a very good wizard to be honest. I'm more of an up close and personal person." Alessia had said. "Don't be silly Alessia, your a great Wizard, you steeped it up on the missions, you knew what to do were maybe others did not. I wish I could say the same about myself, but I cannot. You can protect people with barrier surge. I cannot. You took control when others couldn't. If I didn't know you, I would say you were already an s-class. You deserve to be one, I can't say I do." He turned to Tessa "There is Caliborn if you need to talk to him, if not I will talk to him shortly." He then pointed to Caliborn.

Tessa watched Alessia's magic display with wide eyes before pressing a hand to her lips. She was fairly certain she could do that, but here? Now? "Um..would I be able to-"
"Good day to all of you present, we have returned!" The large, loud voice boomed across the guild hall, and Tessa cringed, hardly daring to look behind her at the newcomers. They seemed to have a brought a strange...thing with them as well.
"Um....." "There is Caliborn, if you need to talk to him. If not I will talk to him shortly." Tessa gestured with her hand, getting to her feet as the other hand tightly clenched the leaf that Jack had given her. "No, you go ahead." She murmured to Jack, stepping back nervously. "Um...is there someplace else I can go?" She asked no one in particular, feeling her heart rate pick up a little. She really really wanted to get out of here. Like right now. But going through the front entrance meant going past Caliborn and the...thing, and that didn't seem like a good option.
Tessa tried to calm herself by breathing slowly, but her hands were clenched and her palms sweat. Suddenly the room felt like it had shrunken in size, and she needed out. Before she crushed the leaf into oblivion, or possibly exploded into a whirlwind.
