    While Cassandra's answer wasn't exactly the most inpsiring one, it would have to do. If they didn't act now, then Erigor was most certainly going to continue on his mission to kill all of the heads of the guilds completely uncontested. So, getting ready, she took off and joined everyone else in combat. As it would be, Erigor had seemed ready to take them all on at once as well, and had gone on to taunt them. "When there's this much riding on the line, there's no way were going to lose to the likes of you! If we're just flies to you, then I hope you brought a big enough swatter." With that, Aoki used Fire Dash on Erigor.

    As luck would have it, it seemed that there was just random bags of money lying around in this odd labyrinth. Well, that was certainly nice of the designer of this odd construct. Pocketing the jewels that she had got, it seemed the group had another choice as to what they should be doing within this maze. She was all for exploring this place for all kinds of wonders it might have had within it. Nodding in agreement with Alisa and Beucette, she said, "yeah, let's keep up this whole adventurous streak of ours."

    Mizuki reluctantly decided to follow after Alisa, Beucette and Lucia. That Manticore, while easily dispatched this time, would have proved to be a more formidable opponent had it been a one-on-one battle. Much as she was confident that she could kill another such creature by herself, Mizuki didn't really fancy crawling out of this maze half dead.
    So for now, she decided to stick to the other three, and assess exactly how infested this maze was before she set off on her own.

    No one answered Thea's question. Instead Edric grabbed the girl playing the music, it seemed rather forcefully too and was trying to get her to leave. "What are you doing?!" Thea shouted as she jumped up from here she was sitting and in front of Zepherine, her arms spread as if she was trying to protect the woman. "She is just playing music. Is that not allowed? I was enjoying it now you are going to wreck it!" Thea said as she pouted. She clearly didn't understand the situation to it's fullest extent and thinking the woman was going to be thrown out just for entertaining. Given the way Thea read the situation, she was not too impressed with Edric. "Leave her alone!" She demanded.

    "Thea... It might seem unlikely or untrue when I say this however, believe me when I say that this..." Vance spoke, stepping up behind Thea and placing a hand on his adopted daughter's shoulder. He pointed at the woman who Edric held roughly. However, given the circumstances he was hardly surprised. "This is the person you know as Zephyros. He, they perhaps, are a shapeshifter. I've seen them switching genders previously. She goes by Zéphyrine in this form. None of this has anything to do with her appearance, rather to do with the fact that she led you and I and the rest of the guild out on an adventure without S-Class authority. I don't expect that this is a bad thing per say, however when you consider that she slipped on to one of our mission before, with Edric no less under the guise of being a member of the guild... I can see why there are problems. All he is doing is addressing the issue of her fraudulent behaviour while providing a fair deal. That is fairly reasonable when you consider that she effectively stole her share from the Guild as she received the payment despite not being a member." It was about time that she was dealt with. Although they had their uses, neither Zephyros or Zéphyrine was truly one of them and as such should not be interacting with them in such a way. The fact that she had gotten away with going on a mission once was enough. Now that she had admitted to it... Well... It was only natural. Theft was theft after all.

Thes way, ya get the money yer lookin' for an' ye doon't get the prison sentence." Edric's eyes narrowed at the woman. "Noo, can we come ta a civil agreement, or es et goin' ta have ta be difficult. Ee'd rather et was the easy way boot..." Edric's left hand folded into a fist at his side and his mouth became a hard line. He was aware that there was a child there, and he would rather things not get any more messy, but he could hardly allow this thief to traipse about like this and get involved with the guild's business completely free and unhindered, not to mention in so brazen a manner.

    Thea listened to Vance closely, slightly confused at everything was going on. How did they change genders? How were they the same person? Thea dropped her arms as Vance placed his hand on her shoulder and just stared at Zephrine for a moment, then to Edric. She listened to him talk about the possibility of her going to prison. This entire situation seemed unreal to Thea, she wouldn't imagine something like this would happen here. She thought that everyone would be friendly and happy, no stealing and threatening to throw someone in prison.

    Thea's eyes ended up resting on Zephrine.
    "Is it true?" She asked in a quiet, sad voice. "Are you really that mean man, and are you really not supposed to be here?" She asked. She knew from Edric and Vance's reactions it was indeed true. "How dare you! How dare you trick me like that?! How dare you steal from this guild who are actually nice to me?! How dare you show your face around me after what you said! You don't get it and you never will! I never want to see you again!" Thea said getting really mad suddenly at him. However this came with a consequence. Once again flames surrounded her entire body, however they didn't stray far from her. It was almost like a shield, protecting her from whatever made her as mad as she was.

    She wanted to keep yelling, she wanted to scream at Zephrine more and not care about the flames around her, but she remembered that Vance stood behind her.
    "No..." She suddenly spoke in a scared voice, her eyes growing wide. "Oh no....." She said again trying to find a way to simmer her powers. "Not again! No I won't kill my only family! Not again!" Thea didn't even realize she was saying anything. Her eyes rung with panic, her entire body trembled as her weak knees gave way. "Please no.... Please help." She said as she lay on the floor, her face pressed into her arms on the ground. The fear was apparent in her voice when she was able to speak between crying.

    "Oh fucking woman, look at what ye've done!" Edric snarled. The situation was dire to say the least. The girl was all but on fire and her magic was getting out of hand. "Noo then, yeh've managed ta upset a veeery unstable child! Oore ya prood o' what ye've done? Yeh've stoolen from mah guild, yeh've upset Thea and caused a magical accident in the bloody street! Ee'll extend the offer to ya again, Zeeapharine. Ah'm willin' ta be reasonable. Ee've talked aboot gettin' the authorities invoolved en thes business an' that es still on the table. We can resolve this fairly easily. Beesides, if ya want mooney, we've got et en jobs ye can doo. There are oonly advantages. Surely, someone like ye acting oot of yer oon agenda, whatever tha' es, can see that."

    He didn't exactly expect the situation to pan out like this. Upon hindsight, it was likely not the best idea he had ever had, however, he didn't particularly feel like keeping unnecessary secrets from his daughter. The extent of her lack of self control was duly noted for future reference. Suddenly, things got a lot worse when the heat around burst into flame. It was at this point that he was glad that his coat was fire ******ant. His face seared from the incredible flames, however with the Phoenix Coat protecting him, he stepped through the heat and pulled Thea tight to his chest, remaining calm despite the severity of the situation. It's almost as if fate saw this coming, giving me the coat that resists flames. That should put her mind at ease at the very least, that I cannot be hurt by her fires while I wear this. Doing his best to ignore the heat, he stroked Thea's hair quickly, in an attempt to try and comfort her, although he wasn't entirely sure what to do.
    "Thea, it's fine, calm down. I am unharmed, the situation is under control. I am here. Your father is here." Vance spoke, summoning words as quickly as possible. He tried to pick her up and carry her, but only succeeded in lifting her off the ground a bit before having to put her down. I really need to work on my physique! He settled for kissing her on the forehead instead. "Everything is alright. Just calm down, try and relax. You haven't hurt me. My new coat grants me resistance to fire."

    Zéphyrine's mouth hung open. First, Edric was saying that the choice was to either join the Guild, or get out. Vance was smirking behind Edric, and Zéphyrine snarled. The rest of her performers saw the seen, and many of them were whispering among themselves. Then, when Thea rushed to the defense, Vance revealed to her the truth. "Have you ever heard of a little white lie, Vance?" That's when Thea exploded, and most of the performers at that point ran for the hills, taking the little jewels they had earned with them. "Damn, they're not used to seeing magic so close up." Zéphyrine thought. "It wasn't me who upset her, it was Vance. Maybe instead of bothering me you should get your actual Guild Members in check." Zéphyrine had a tongue like fire.

    "Now now, what seems to be going on here.” A man came out of the crowd.

    Zéphyrine tensed up almost right away, as soon as his hand had a tight grasp on Zéphyrine's shoulder. "There's no need for the authorities, friend. Of course Zéphyrine will take your most, generous, offer."


    "I'd rather die-" His grip tightened, and Zéphyrine was squirming.

    "You know these young girls, ever so troublesome. They have a mind of their own all of a sudden, a terrible thing really. Then the start to have ideas, and Lord knows that goes no where good." The man was charismatic, charming, and ever so preservative. It was almost something magical about him

    "I had to bite down on my tongue so I wouldn't burst out laughing." Zéphyrine thought, knowing that those ideas were not his own, but what he perceived of Edric.


    "And as a gift of apology, I invite you to my tavern outside of town. It'll be free, on myself, of course.” He offered to them. "So, comrade, what do you say you go get this little trouble maker into your fancy Guild Hall, and invite you and your Guild Members for a treat tonight."

    Edric released his grasp on Zéphyrine, satisfied that she was going to be dealt with. He would follow up on that offer of a drink, if only to be polite, however some things just weren't going to fly. He narrowed his eyes at Clopin.
    "Ee have noo idea who ya think I am mate, but ya seem ta have me wrong. Ee might be a drinker, Ee might not be the best person... Boot I ain't stupid. An Ee'm not so descriminatory as ya think. Girls are free ta have ideas. Ee just doon't care foor 'em when they involve stealin' from mah guild and moouthin' me off as an excuse ta get away from the fact tha' they they've done fucked up." Edric snapped. "Take yer assertions an' yer assumptions... And shove 'em up yer arse where ya pulled 'em from 'cause y'ain't half as clever as ya seem ta think y'are. Noo that's oot the way, Ah'll move Zeepharine and meet ya for tha' drink. Mebbe we'll start off fresh an' Ee'll ignore that lood o' bollocks ye just caame oot with." With that, he took Zéphyrine by the forearm and stormed back towards the Guild, leaving Vance to deal with Thea. That friend of her's, what an idiot. It seems that he's not the only one to be fooled by the voice and the attitude. They seem to believe me ignorant and stupid. Let them find out that's not entirely the case. It's all the more satisfying when I get to ruin all their 'clever' assumptions. Arrogant bastards the lot of them.

    The sound of Vance's barely broke through the girls sobs. It took a while for her to register that Vance was with her, stroking her hair. Thea didn't stop sobbing though, she didn't look up at her new father even when he tried to pick her up. It felt like all her senses had shut down, as well as her ability to control her magic.

    "Why are you crying fireheart? Is everything okay?" A voice echoed through Thea's head, a familiar loving voice.

    "Mom why did you leave me? I can't do this on my own. I don't know how. You were wrong I can't control it. I am going to hurt more people. I am scared. I don't want to lose him too."

    "I know dear. You wont." The voice suddenly changed. It was now her father not her mother speaking. "Its okay I am here. Your father is here. Fireheart, don't be afraid to move forward, allow Vance to be your father. It is fine. You will be fine."


    Thea looked up
    "dad?" She expected to see her dad, Ian Strive kissing her head, but instead she saw Vance. "Dad." She said burying her head into his coat. She was still crying as she spoke "I am sorry, I am so sorry." She said as she hugged him. Somehow her flames weren't harming him. He had mentioned something about his coat protecting him. "Can we go home?" She asked after another moment.

    He said before Edric had stomped off.

    Zéphyrine couldn't help but laugh now. It seems he mistook Edric for someone else. "Nice going." Zéphyrine glared back at him, as Edric continued to pull. "You can let go off me now. I can walk by myself."
    Zéphyrine hissed.

    Rennette used Barrier Surge. It did 11 damage, but with defence it did 21!
    Gaius used Blitz. He jumped once (**** you RNG) and did 4 damage, but with strength and weapon it did 24 (nearly lowest strength roll ftw)
    Veilen used Fire Dash. It did 18 damage, but with speed and magic (i'm assuming) it did 27!
    Ra used Fire Dash. It did 6 damage (RNG hates Rienzel more than me), but with speed, magic and weapon it did 36! Go Ra's absurdly high magic!
    For some reason Thomas has Fire equipped despite having Fira, and he used it, and it did a whole 3 damage, but with magic and weapon it did 25!
    Charlotte used Barrier Surge. It did 12 damage, but with defence it did 21!

    All together, the party did 154 damage to Sheeptard, and his defence reduced 8 of that.
    Sheeptard took an additional 10 damage after being set on fire. The proper authorities have been notified of this.

    Sheeptard used "Ram"page on Thomas. It did 8 damage, but with strength and speed did 25! Thomas' defence reduced 1 damage. Thomas is stunned!
    Sheeptard used Counting Sheep on Charlotte. After three turns, she will fall asleep!

    Baaaaaaaaad laser: Shoots a laser at his opponents that does 0 damage and does not scale, but looks ****ing awesome.

    "Ram"page: Sheeptard charges his opponent down, dealing a solid amount of damage and stunning them for one turn. Due to knockups being a non-cleansable form of CC, Esuna does not affect it.
    5-8 damage to a single target

    Assault and Baahttery: The Sheep King plucks a lamb from the earth itself and slams it into his chest with supreme, manly gusto, causing the lamb to stick to his woolly awesomeness and provide a temporary meatshield, and nobody can ever take that away from it.
    50 damage shield for 1 turn


    Unstoppable Fleece: Despite his manly ego, Sheeptard is a little....sheepish, and is quite easily startled. Each attack landed on him has a 5% chance to engulf the attacker in the fluffiest wool imaginable, reducing the damage on their next attack by 50%.

    Lambassador: While Sheeptard mourns the loss of his woolen brethren, he also respects the laws of the land and the means for survival, and so he consumes his fallen lamb friends, gaining 50 hp back whenever one of his meatshields are destroyed, as well as +5 damage on his next attack.

    Counting Sheep: Sheeptard casts his magic on an enemy, causing them to feel drowsy as illusions of small sheep began running by them and leaping over fences. After three turns, the victim falls into a deep slumber. Lasts 3 turns.

    "Ye aim ta please? Bloody spineless sycophant." Edric muttered darkly, shaking his head at the man who had appeared out of seemingly nowhere. She couldn't just have a tower to herself, which was greedy as it was. No, she had to make it unreasonably annoying to get to. Sighing, Edric looked for the all too familiar Mikasa PTSD Job notice. Somehow, and he had no idea how because she was not a mechanic to his knowledge, nor did she have the required magic, the door had been wired up so that whenever one pulled on the correct job it opened up. He pulled the paper and lo and behold, the door opened inwards, leading to a staircase.
    "Such a fucking stupid door. She couldn'a put a normal door on et leek everyone else..." He grumbled, leading the woman behind him up the stairs to meet the new prisoner.

    Watching Thea, it seemed as if the little one had spaced out for a while, as if her attention was not entirely on this world at all but on something else, something ethereal. He had no clue as to what it could have been, but something snapped her out of it and he found her gripping him tightly with her head buried into his coat.
    "Calm Thea, calm. No harm has been done." Vance said as soothingly as possible. He smiled a little when she called him 'dad'. He hadn't expected to hear that for many years, nor ever after that irritating contract was made. And there, he had a daughter. Not by blood, but it was enough. Now, his daughter needed taking care of. "Come on little one, stand up. We'll go back to the Guild Hall now." Vance helped Thea to her feet and took one of her little hands in his. Taking out a handkerchief, he knelt down and wiped her eyes and face before folding it as neatly as possible with one hand and stowed it back in a pocket inside his coat (having had transferred the contents of his old longcoat into his new Phoenix Coat).
    "Ready?" When she confirmed, he gave her hand a little squeeze and began to lead her back home.

    Being able to keep the ring was one surprise, but Zwei accepted it. Having the princess confess that she had feelings for him was a entirely different surprise for entirely different reasons. It was clear from the blush that was on her face that she meant what she had just said, not that there was really any doubt at this point. Now came the even harder task of responding to what she had said. Zwei's mind determinedly tried to think of something to say. "I um, I don't really know what to say. That means a lot to me."

    Johanna hugging him was surprising at first, thought hearing the hint of fear in her voice, it was understandable. "So is everyone else." Leo managed to say. "Once the King is aware of this, he'll know that Preminger was lying to him." First they needed to get to wherever the wedding was being held.

    Thea allowed Vance to help her back up and wipe her tears. It was only then that she really realized what she had called him, and it felt strange to her. Thea took his hand as they went to walk trying to figure out what to do or say now. Her fathers words rung in her ears, telling her it was okay to move on and accept Vance as her father, but it still seemed real. "Um... I am sorry about that. I mean calling you dad. I know it is really soon and I didn't mean I. I just thought I heard my dads voice and I couldn't help it, I wanted to call out to him and for a moment I was back in his arms when he was alive and then I don't know why I said it again, I just did." Thea began to ramble as she made herself small feeling embarrassed.

    Again she didn't know what to call him. Perhaps she should get used to calling him dad no matter how weird it sounded, perhaps it was too soon. Thea slowed her pace and looked up at the sky searching to hear her mothers voice again telling her what to do, but nothing came up. Thea then looked at Vance for guidance, it seemed to be the only person she had right now. Skadi might have been able to help out but she wasn't even back at the guild yet to help her, nor was she aware of the situation.
    "Um... What..." Thea hesitated becoming nervous. "What do you prefer me to call you, sir?" She asked him. Whatever he said she would go with, because she didn't know herself.

    The fluffed up foe that was the sheep king seemed to be quite the resilient fellow. Seeming to be mostly unfazed by their initial barrage, the group would have to surely pull out all the stops to bring down this mighty enemy. She watched as he had managed to barrel through the lines of their defenses and bash straight into the poor rifle wielding boy, Thomas. Not seeming to be finished, however, the sheep soon cast some odd sheep magic on her. While she didn't seem to notice anything different right away, it was soon that she noticed a flock of sheep start to hop over a fence that she could have sworn was not there just a moment ago. Shaking it off, she simply used Sliding Dash on Sheeptard followed by blocking for Thomas.

    She remembered Quinn's impressive display against the strange man that they had fought earlier, however it was still surprising to see the raw power he displayed. He was a fearsome foe indeed. However, Erigor showed some power of his own, but Quinn pulled through it. He couldn't help but feel some admiration for the strength of the man. She grinned and looked up at Erigor, spurred on by the sight. She looked around at Zephyr.
    "Zephyr, I'll cover you in a sec. I'll be right back!" She sped her Hover Sword forwards and set the blade and area around her alight, striking Erigor. "Not so weak are we, Erigor? That scythe doesn't make a terribly good fly swatter now doesn't it?"

    Dominique laughed cheerfully. She wasn't entirely sure what to say now either. "We'll talk more later, right now, we need to save your friends, the Prince is with them as well. " She told the group.

    "I'm sure the King will understand." Johanna told Leo. "We need to regroup with the others, the wedding might start at any minute now. We need to hurry." Johanna told them. Dominique and Leo guided Johanna and Zwei to the others.

    "It looks like we're done here." Prince Zachary said. "Is everyone alright?"

    "I'll heal them." Samantha told the Prince, doing so just then.

    "Oh my goodness, Samantha, your highness!" Johanna shouted, running to both of them and pulling them into a hug. "Silvia, Skadi, and Damian! I was wondering where you went Damian." Johanna was pulling them into a hug as well. "I'm so glad you're all okay. Where are Sara and Amanda, though. Don't tell me that part of what Preminger said was true?" Johanna asked the group.

    "I don't want to rush the reunion, but we really should hurry." Dominique reminded them again.

    Ander's pov:
    The damage that the team did to Erigor seemed not to phase him. He thought they did a good number on him, but one could never tell when someone was in a dark guild. Erigor was indeed powerful most of which was directed to Quinn. Quinn was a S class so he should be fine for the time being. That said it was possible for Quinn to go down next turn and his power was key this fight. It was be safe then sorry. It was starting to look like Erigor was going to need a bigger fly swatter. "It looks like these flies are smarter then you first thought."

    Ander used cure on Quinn.
