Well, that wasn't too hard a fight it seemed. The wisp thing had gone down without Ren even receiving so much as a scratch. Which raised the question, had he really killed it, or was it just some sort of illusion? Well, whatever it was, there were still kids to find.
"Hey, kids, there's monsters out here! We need to get you home right now!" He stopped, realising that if the children were listening, they would be scared witless by his announcement that they were probably in terrible danger. "But don't worry!" he reassured anyone who might be listening. "I'll keep you safe! Just come out, for goodness sake!" He checked behind another nearby tablet. Hopefully this time he wouldn't be attacked by some ethereal laughing monster.

Mizuki raised an eyebrow at this Leon guy, unimpressed by his strutting. He wouldn't be worth the time, she decided. This Callegari girl, however, now she was interesting. Her power would be extremely useful under these circumstances. So much so that she could probably win the reward without much of a problem. Sparkle and Blaze didn't stand out in particular, other than the fact that they also came from a guild. The best, apparently, but that wasn't saying much in some of the guilds.
In fact, why was this man playing them off against each other like this? There seemed to be more to this than he was letting on. She turned to speak to him. "First off, your name. We need to know what to call you. Second, you're playing each group of people off the others. Are you that desperate to get rid of this ghost? Why not put out a normal job request?"

Ren was beginning to think there weren't any children in the place, only the cold ethereal bodies of whoever had been buried here. There was probably a graveyard nearby as well. "Sorry, wrong house," he told the floaty thing. It didn't respond. "I don't suppose you could let me go on my way?" Still no response. "Thought not," he muttered, and shot out another wind spell from his staff.

"What the hell was that thing?" She gasped. It died quickly, fizzling into dissolution with a slice of her blade. Something was still unsettling about it though. Maybe it was the strange child-like laugh, or the way it just floated and danced, it was just creepy. This place wasn't safe she had to find that child. She had to be here somewhere. As she searched, she thought she heard someone call her name. Maybe it was Ander? She wasn't sure. She was too busy looking for the child in this God-forsaken forest. She thought she spied something behind another bush and rushed around to see...

Amanda pov: She screamed as she saw herself covered in dark blood. She would have used aero if the thing did not freeze her.

 

Carmen listened to Dale and his lecture with a small interest. 'No magic...Principle...Questions...Respect...Polite. Okay' she thought, making a mental list. As they walked, she took in the surroundings, creating a mental map, her eidetic memory serving her well as they traversed the halls, from twists and turns to the amount of torches on the walls. If stuff went belly-up, she was going to be ready.

 

Pan's Labyrinth​

As Charlotte had recollected herself, the first thing she noticed was that the lech, Thomas, was already on a nearby table and had already managed to break something. While he was proclaiming his own greatness, Gaius had then jumped onto the table as well and had introduced the entirety of the group. While Charlotte had admired his enthusiasm, his loud obtrusiveness towards the other guilds was not something to be so. As such, Mizuki had taken her role as active Mikasa up and had given the two a stern lecturing. Afterwards of doing so, she followed up with what Mizuki had asked and said, "furthermore, what are we meant to be doing here? It is not as though we can just expel the negative spirits here on a whim."

The entire way to the two of Ichigo, Lucia had been basically on edge. Not because of any sort of terrifying ghosts or spirits that they had to get rid of or anything. No. It was because of a white haired female who was basically creeping her out just by being there. It was when they had finally made their way to the school that Lucia had actually been put to ease, and listened to what Dale had said about some notes on their job. While Lucia really wasn't a spellcaster sort at the moment, she nodded at the notion of not going in magic blazing. Then there was the fact that they were in school, which made Lucia shudder. After all, school was a terrifying place. It was then that they were lead into the non-descript office of the non-descript principal where they would get the briefing and stuff.

Scarlett didn't react to Dale's summary of the job. Typical paranormal stuff, I guess. She had to admit though, she was a bit disapointed that they wouldn't be able to use a lot of magic. She had kind of been expecting some glorious battle mission to save some kidnapped guild member or something like that. Oh well, this was going to have to be good enough. Silently, Scarlett followed behind Dale as they went on their way to the mission. Dale didn't seem as open as he had been last night, and Scarlett figured that that was a one time thing with this guy. He was probably just pissed off and needed to vent and she just happened to be there. But.. Pissed off about what? Most likely that Levi guy talking to Johanna. That was the only thing that really made sense. So did Dale like.. Like Johanna? Or was it more of a big brother type of feeling. Oh well. She didn't really care that much. She had a semi-alliance type of thing going here with an well known member, and she didn't want to ruin that.

As they entered the school, Scarlett frowned a bit. She had never actually gone to school before. She hadn't even been in one to be honest. It was a weird place that smelled like sweaty boys and failure, and it didn't look like a very fun place to be for seven hours a day. She took in her new surroundings, double checking her bow that was hooked around her back. Dale said no magic... But he didn't say no bow usage...

She stepped into the Principals office after Dale and nearly laughed to herself. So this is where I would have spent lots of time if I had gone to public school...

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me," Ren sighed in exasperation. "You are the third dumb idiot I've had to deal with so far, and I really need to be doing something else. Like finding kids who may or may not be possessed by an evil spirit. So, if you don't mind," he continued, aiming his staff at the wisp, "get wrecked."
Taking a wide stance and channeling his power to the top of his staff, he held it their for a second before releasing it as a concentrated ball of air and really, no one is going to read this so really I'm just typing words for the hell of it, to make my post seem longer and also because right now I'm in one of those moods where I say much more than I need to.

Ren used Aero.

 

"What have i gotten myself into..." Ra questioned under his breath. First, Gaius knocked over a vase directly after being told not to break anything, but at least that one was excusable as an accident. Thomas on the other hand, there was no pardoning. The first impression they made on the other guilds was not a good one in any way. Thomas leaped up onto the table, kicking off another vase. He announced he was the greatest wizard of them all, and proceeded with his lecherous activities. Dear lord, if that boy put half the concentration into thinking with the top half of his body that he did with the bottom, the mission would already be finished due to his sheer brilliance. Ra would have to do something about that if they were ever going to get anywhere with the team.

If that weren't bad enough, the other one followed suit. The red haired idiot leaped onto the table right behind Thomas, proclaiming nearly the same thing. If they didn't think the group was full of idiots before, they certainly did now. Ra began wondering if it was too late for member changes...

"But hey, what kinda grand wizard would I be without a kickass team, right?"

Gaius proceeded to explain all about the team members. Charlotte was the girl who could take a hit better than any of the guys on the team. It was true enough. The girl was durable to say the least. Veilan had struck him as more of a knight than anything else. Thomas' description might have made Ra chuckle if he weren't using every ounce of his willpower to not go all "Caw Caw Mother****er" on Gaius' eyes. Then came his description. The beautifully adorned mascot and leader who speaks with fancy words so that you know he knows his ****...Ra couldn't find words to describe what he thought about that.

If that weren't enough to give Ra an aneurism, then what happened next was. Mikasa had deliberately told them to hide her identity and refer to Mizuki as Mikasa and vice versa. Yet, what did Gaius go and do? Outright point out Mikasa. Reaching up his clawed hand, Ra grabbed Gaius and ripped him down off the table.. "My sincerest apologies. You'll have to forgive these two. They're ill. Not in their right state of mind." 'They've caught by far the worst case of stupidity I've ever seen.' Said the golden adorned man in his thoughts.

The others seemed to be oddly okay with their outburst and simply introduced themselves. The last one had a sense of arrogance about him. Ra detested that. "Thomas, if you can stop flinging yourself at anything of the opposite sex for at least ten seconds, i will give you half my share of the reward for this mission."


"So all we gotta do is go to this school and sort out some kinda hauntin? Well that sounds easy enough. I ain't afraid of no ghost." Said Beucette, not remotely concerned about the fact that paranormal accidents were showing up around the school. She'd never been one to be afraid of much. Mostly because she never took anything seriously. She looked at the door to the principal's office. "So, how exactly are we gonna go about gettin' rid of a ghost? I don't think we can just ask it to leave." ​
