With more dark guild members appearing out of every seam of the building, things might have been a bit hairy if not for the fact that Cassandra had been able to absolutely destroy them in a single swipe. Though, even she seemed to have her limits, as she started to pant from fatigue, she seemed to leave everything up to the rest of them as she went on to warn everyone else of the impending danger. Nodding to Cassandra, she said, "don't worry, you can count on us." Turning to the rest of the guild, she said, "come on guys! Let's show this guy that there's more than one person in this guild to be afraid of." With that, Aoki used fire dash on the dude.

After Rho and Aias had managed to strike the bedrock spirit with a combined strike, it had seemed that the giant golem was seeming to be worse for wear. Rho had calmly stood there as the two spirits seemed to begin their continued assault on them. "Well then if they truly are a mirror of ourselves, then they are a bit of a shabby replica," Rho had said to Aias, "after all, you are the unbreakable shield," as he said this the two spirits' attacks were stopped completely by Aias's barrier surge, "and I am the unyielding sword. Neither of which these rocks can match up to." With that, Rho jumped at the bedrock spirit with a blitz attack.

Lucia watched as all of their questions were answered by the staff summoning up some weird ancient looking spirit thing that was to answer any one question of theirs. Well, that seemed like a really useful thing, but something Lucia would have to think on for now. As everyone else seemed to ask their questions, Lucia was a bit befuddled by the two that were already asked. Beucette's was just confusing by nature of who the question came from, Malkira's was confusing for a completely different reason. Here she had thought this dude was just a really tall person in a stone suit or something who somehow breathed through that thing. But nope, as it had turned out, he was actually just someone made of stone. She didn't really know what to think about that, so she just sort of didn't. After some more moments of deliberation, Lucia had decided on what to do. Turning to everyone else, she said, "I think I'll just wait until we're back at the guild hall to ask my question to this thing."

"Yes sir." Thea responded to Conrad, attempting to calm herself down a little bit. She took a moment to focus on breathing more evenly and not at the risk of hyperventilating. She stared at the monster in front of her, then looked at Conrad. He said he needed her help. She could do this. She was an elite mage under Ezekiel, and though her injuries made her powers not work as well, she was getting stronger once again and she could do it. He trained her to fight and kill, though she didn't want to admit it. This was all a game. That is what she had to remember, it was just a game. Thea closed her eyes and let her imagination take over. Suddenly the situation didn't seem so real anymore. The witch became the mean old lady that was one of her tutors when she was younger. And the monsters were just projections of the tasks in which she didn't want to do. And her fire, it was the excuse not to do them. If they accidentally burned, then how could she do her homework? With this image in her mind, Thea was able to find the focus to try a move she learned long ago when she was less skilled with fire, and try that as a stepping stone to getting back to her old strength.

Well, given that this is the first real duo battle with these two, i think BGM is in order.

Aias took a stance, tightening his feet against the ground and readying his arms to deflect this blows that would otherwise be struck against his partner. He would not allow anything to get through him. Strengthened by the protection of light. First came the Bedrock spirit. The creature lifted the axe behind its body, preparing for a massive swing, with Rho as the target. Though, the attack would never reach him. Between the spirit and Rho stood Aias. As the blow came down, the force behind the swing was immeasurable. The green haired man lifted his palm above his head, and caught the axe. No, it was more like his palm was a wall which barred anything and everything from passing beyond it. Denying them the power to harm Rho. As the bedrock axe collided with his hand, a shockwave of force traveled down, blowing a massive gust of wind around Aias and cracking the ground beneath him. Though, he simply stared at the creature unflinching.

Next, The Clay spirit hurled its arm at the duo. Shoving the axe aside, Aias maneuvered to the other side of Rho and held up his forearm to be what the golem collided with, instead of his charge. As expected, the massive clay fist smashed against Aias' arm, but stopped there. The force of the impact once again send dust and rubble flying behind him, but Rho and Aias both remained unscratched. They could not penetrate Aias' defenses. Now, it was time for them to counterattack. "Let us show these imposters what the true combination of offense and defense is capable of. They will be proven nothing more than dirt under our feet." leaping up. Aias kicked off the Clay spirit and vaulted into the air. The chain unwrapped from his hand and flew out to its full length. Swinging it, the kunai at the end of it pierced into the bedrock spirit. Once he landed. He returned to defend Rho. Though the barrier had worn off, they would still have great difficulty even remotely harming either of them.

Aias used Blitz on Bedrock spirit and blocked for Rho.

    Ander's pov:
Cassandra left and left them to fight who he would guess was Karacka by the way Kageyama was taking. At this point he was getting use to people just leaving them. He was getting quite tired of all this fighting. People just did not learn. Then he realized something. Why they keep fighting and fighting. If he was right they needed to end this battle fast. Telling the others of what he thought would only let the dark guild know what he knew. "It is time for this to end." With that he attacked Karacka.

Caliborn had stood back for the most part, allowing the Guild Members to discover things for themselves. He was suspicious of Balthazar however, and the whole incident where they had to battle X to get through made him a little suspicious of the operation they had going here. What kind of organisation are we dealing with here. it has to be illegal at best. There's no two ways about it, these aren't lawful people, but equally they don't seem harmful. The Riders of the Desert... Where have I heard that name before? Could it be a Dark Guild? I can't say I've seen them represented at any of the Guild conferences before so... Perhaps? But equally, Balthazar doesn't seem it. He doesn't strike me as a Dark Guild member, although X certainly would. Who are these people... And what do they want with the Hand of Midas? If they were a more obviously straight up legal guild then I wouldn't be so concerned. Caliborn looked behind him, checking if they were being followed and made sure to do that the entire time. Something about this seemed wrong. Is Balthazar too innocent? Soon enough, things took a more interesting turn however, and one that led Caliborn to question more things about the nature of the men that they were dealing with.
"Everyone, be careful with what you ask of this. Be more like Malkira, and less like Beucette with what you ask." Caliborn warned. Balthazar seemed to be familiar with this thing, however it surprised him that the man had not used it already given that he already had knowledge of it. If it were so easy to access, what motive would Balthazar have for not yet using it. Could they be using us to test the oracle, to ensure that it doesn't cause harm? Is there more to this than they are letting on? "I have nothing to ask of it, for now. I would recommend that if you don't have anything pressing to ask it now, then wait. Give yourselves time to think about this. The answer to the question you choose may have a great effect on your lives. Be careful." And be wary of these people.

"Interesting! If this is not your sister or indeed, any family you recognise then I would very much like to know who this woman is to you exactly!" Vance called over the sounds of the battle. The shrieking of the Sapphire Phoenix and the clanging of the Bedrock and Clay spirits. The room was a menagerie of strangeness. He found his eyes assaulted from all sides by the strange spirits within the room, two of which had an ethereal beauty around them. The Diamond Spirit in particular, was a source of radiance. A slight feeling of exultation filled him, as if he were in the room with a legendary creature. The shining of the wall it cast was almost blinding. He was glad he did not have to face the shimmering creature. However, it seemed that despite it's characteristics and piercing shriek, he and Taylor were able to significantly wound the creature. He smiled as they smashed into the creature with weapons aflame, glowing in what was once a dark room, now illuminated by their flames and the dazzling Diamond Spirit.
"Taylor, press the advantage! We have it now!" Vance ordered, sweeping his arm dramatically outwards to the right, and then pointing it at the creature sending a violent burst of wind towards the Sapphire Spirit.

Jack's pov: Kage didn't answer him, that figured it was possible that he was afraid of them, it was also possible that they were the strongest in the guild. He laughed a little on the inside on what team king would think about that when they thought they were the best. "See what your doing Kage." This also confirmed kage was a cowered as he previously mentioned that kage should be fighting them if he didn't want he members getting hurt, but it was to late for kage to react now. He also noticed Cas put some people in charge, was cas that worried that they couldn't handle them selfs. When it was clear they were kicking butt. Jack used fire dash.

Mizuki hung back behind the rest of the group, glowering at everything and everyone as was the norm for her. Damn, she was bored. Too much talking about random shit, a huge ass pile of gold that was useless if it was just going to sit here looking pretty, and now that fucking X guy was telling them he was coming along on the mission. Stupid weak ass git, they didn't need and old man they'd just knocked over with ease holding them up on the mission because of the rheumatism in his knees.
While muttering curses at X, her attention was suddenly taken by the fucking spirit promising to grant them the answer to one question. Interesting. Well, it was obvious what her question was going to be. Where the fuck was that asshole she needed to murder. Not that she could really come out with that question right in front of everyone, that could cause problems.
Then again, if she did ask that question, what of it? The other guild members would find it strange, to be sure, but they would hardly have any inkling of her motives for asking such a question. Hell, some of them probably wouldn't even recognize the name.

That said, if when she did kill him, and news got back to Sapphire Eclipse, then it wouldn't take much for some of the more competent members to connect the dots and figure it was her. Them figuring it out might not be particularly dangerous anyway, but perhaps it was best to err on the side of caution.
"I shall ask my question at a later date," she grunted. And then didn't talk again for a dozen more pages.

Gaius' activation of his, uh, Charlotte's, barrier surge had caught Rennette off guard and knocker her away, and before she could regain her hold on him Gaius had torn the paper to shreds and eaten it again. She sank down to her knees, horror glistening in her eyes.

“You...” she gasped. “That paper... ripped apart like the tender dreams of youth... swallowed up in the maw of merciless apathy... that paper was special.” Tears welled up in her eyes. “That paper was special to Rennette, and you knew that,” she said accusingly to Gaius.
She now turned her attention away from him, and from somewhere produced a small bouquet and candle, laying the two down in front of her and lighting to candle. Apparently it was some sort of shrine to the now ruined paper. Rennette began to chant, pausing for effect between each line.

“These flowers that we lay here,
    They shall inexorably wilt,
    And cease to bloom,
    As waves rushing,
    Towards a stony shore,
    Cascading to their doom.”

She cried silently for a few moments, before crying out with a wail. “
Oh, that such a bright light should grow dim! And that we should be left to live on, till Father Time to us up with him! Adieu, fair prince! Godspeed our love to you!”

Gaius would have responded to Rennette, but he was busy being aero heimlich'd. No matter how much he fought against it, the force was too much and once again it came out of him. Truth be told, he considered using barrier surge again, but if it was this important to people...was it truly evil? If only he was in his regular body, then he could just burn the thing to ash and be done with it. "Fine, if you wanna go and take that evil spell, go for it, I aint gonna stop ya, and you can't come whinin' to me when it goes wrong" he stated, crossing his arms.

Caleb nodded as Cassandra passed on the responsibility of dealing with the dark guild members to them. There was no way he was going to let her down, not with so much on the line. This mission was crucially important, and if they couldn't stop the dark guild members from reviving lullaby, then nothing would survive. Not their guild, not their friends. Not Skadi. With newfound strength, Caleb dashed towards their new opponent, letting out a ferocious roar as the guardian lashed out with an attack.

"The Hand of Midas' golden power only will hinder your attack power, but to make Ego stronger you must defeat your enemies." The Oracle replied to Beucette. "You may ask questions at any time you which, but remember the rule of one." The Oracle turned to Lucia, repeating herself once more. The Oracle then looked at Malkira.

"You may never return to your exact, original body, but you can become your human self again. At the cost of losing your heart. How you can do that, though, I cannot say. In a Guild filled with Wizards, one should have the answer to your next question."

"Caliborn is right. He is very wise, for a man of his age." Balthazar laughed. "I know what I will use for my question, but if you do not, it's best to safe it. Time can only tell what you will face during your time as Wizards." He told them.

Calxiyn nodded. She had been thinking more and more about what she should ask, and the mask lingered in her mind.

"I think that's all we have to do right now. We'll take a boat into the sea, and find the Vanshing Isle!" Balthazar cheered.

And that was indeed what they did. They piled onto a boat, and sailed into the sea again. That was when Balthazar asked the Scepter the question.

"Oracle, where can I find the Hand of Midas?" Balthazar asked it. His expression could be seen in the face of a child, ready to open a Christmas gift. His brown eyes went wide, and there was utter joy on his face, as the Oracle flew from the scepter, and over took the sky, putting even the moon to shame. "The Hand of Midas shall appear very soon. I will show you, the way!" The Oracle zoomed through the sky like a shooting star, and a giant beam of light in the sky marked where the island appeared. The boat hurried after it, and not too long after, they saw the Oracle's presence again.

Out from the water, came a giant, marble fortress that made the ship rock. Calxiyn held onto the side of the ship for support, as the Vanishing Isle, on the back of a gigantic undersea turtle appeared to the surface.

"Its beautiful!" Calxiyn exclaimed, leaning over the side of the ship a bit to get a closer look.

"We have to hurry, there is no telling how long the island will be here for. We must find the hand quickly." Balthazar told the group. Balthazar, unafraid, climbed on the head of the sea turtle, which didn't bat an eye. It was made of beautiful marble and alabaster stone.

"It's beautiful..." Calxiyn said, as the group walked through the hall.

They passed through an archway decorated with gold trim as well as plants. The room's walls were decorated with scale like patterns. And in the middle of the room, was a pool, and waiting on the edges of that pool, was creature that was half human, and half fish.

"She looks exactly like me..." Calxiyn's eyes were wide with confusion.

Balthazar, on the other hand, did not see what Calxiyn saw. He seemed to drop his guard at once, as he saw the most beautiful women alive. "
Nephthys..." He looked at the women, who had her arms folded on the edge of the fountain, looking at the group.

"How long has it been... how in the world?" Balthazar moved forward hastily, as the women put her hair behind her ear.

They headed into the dept of the mine until they came across a room, in which was the Prince and Samantha. That was good, but before they could do anything celebratory of the sorts Preminger had appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Was she behind them this whole time? Whatever the answer was would have to wait for she wasn't here to help them. She had much more sinister reasons behind being here. "Why go through all this to get rid of the prince?! Just what do you get out of it?!"

There was no answer as Preminger left. That prompted Samantha to try and force the doors open with magic. The action had resulted in a lightning bolt striking down on her after the spell had hit the door. Was it a defense mechanism set up to keep them trapped? It couldn't be for Silvia was struck for trying to heal Samantha and did nothing that would affect the door. Leo's mind had started to try to think of a way to get out of this predicament. If the lightning struck whenever someone used magic, then just what could he do. He didn't have any anti-lightning based magic.

That was when it dawned on him. He did have magic that would work in this situation. Lightning God Slayer. Even if he was struck by lightning he could just use it to further strengthen his attack. Now that he had a plan, the S-Class had taken a step forward to go through with it as the mine started to shake and a few rocks fell down onto them. The rocks weren't large enough to cause any too much harm, still he covered his head in defense.

"Minx and Jinx... I think those are the names of those Wizards. They're destroying the mine. What do we do?"

Leo froze in place after hearing that. If that were true then the situation outside could be worse. If he was to destroy the door he'd be putting everyone at risk or worse. Get them killed.
"I...I don't know." He couldn't use dragon slayer magic and god slayer magic would only put everyone at risk. There was nothing that he could do. He was useless. Why? He'd learn god slayer magic in addition to dragon slayer to avoid this exact situation and yet there was nothing that he could. The thought weighed heavily on the boy as he fell to his knees. Leo had started muttering to himself, whether was trying to find a way out of this situation or him cursing himself no one other than himself. What the others would be able to see is the look of defeat that was on his face.

Despite Kage waiting on one person in particular to show up, some of the other dark guild members moved in to attack. Only to be swiftly struck down by Cassandra. The poor bastards clearly didn't know what they were doing when they ran in like that. That's why you could say it was lucky for the small fry that Cassandra left when she did due to fatigue. Leaving them to face Karcka. "Right, Cassandra wasn't the only one kicking their asses." That being said Zephyr too attacked using Fire Dash on Karcka.

Amidst the chaos in trying to get Gaius to upchuck the piece of paper that he had eaten, Veilen had just stood there and watched everything. It was entertaining to see, despite how he didn't quite understand how a piece of paper could be evil. That said, a lot about this wasn't making much sense so ti wasn't too out of place for the time being. "He did rip the paper before swallowing it, I don't think it'll be helpful unless the paper is magic too."

"You're more insane than they say." The Warden said as he watched Orpheus extract the souls of every prisoner he had in his entire prison. "Ah, but can the same not be said for you?" The necromancer taunted. "We are garnering power. You would help us do that. Not to mention, you could further your own goals by joining us." The Warden stared at Orpheus for a few seconds and began walking towards him. "I've got a better idea. Why don't i refresh my stock of captives, starting with you." Orpheus gave a chuckle in response to the threat. "I was hoping you'd try something. If you simply agreed, this would have been far too easy."

The Warden was the first to strike. He ran at the necromancer, club in hand. Orpheus simply took a step backwards and summoned an undead champion in front of him. The jailor showed no signs of slowing. As the hulking monstrosity stood in his way, He crashed into the undead with full force and hefted it over his shoulder, flipping it onto its back. With a single quick swing of the club, the skull of the undead was smashed. Turning his attention back to his target, he saw that the one he'd just killed clearly wouldn't be the last of these creatures. There were many more undead beginning to spawn, of a great variety. "You sure got enough of these things on hand.""Losing your nerve already?"

The Warden didn't say anything in response. He simply grabbed the nearest one by the face, lifted it into the air, and crushed its skull in the palm of his hand, causing the body to drop back down to the ground. As they started to surround him, he swung his club, taking out multiple bodies in a single sweep. "Such anger. Initially, i had considered just killing you and taking your body for and undead. Although, seeing how much your rage and frustrations strengthens you, I think I'll keep you alive." The Warden laughed. "That's generous of you. Maybe I won't execute you right away and just leave you in a cell until you starve."

As he cleaved a bloody swathe through the undead, Orpheus weaved between them, traverse to each end of the prison. "You bring justice to those who commit crimes? Then the whole world should be condemned. You are no exception. I have seen the devils within, and there is no man free from them. If you can't take all of them, why not let me help you take as many as you can?" The undead were thinning and the warden approaching, but it didn't matter now. Things had been set in place. As The Warden approached him, he raised his hand.
"Summoning the undead is not the only power i possess." "What are you...?" Tightening his grip, Orpheus channeled magic forth from his body. While the undead had never stood a chance at actually defeating The Warden, they'd given him enough time to set up the means of his defeat. "Seeds of Destruction! Unleash all the power of Hell!" From various points in the prison, Seven black orbs rose out of the ground. Each of them whirred with dark power, before loosing a burst of black flames onto all around them. The walls cracked and gave way under the explosion. The building collapsed under the combined explosion of the seeds. Before the building collapsed entirely, Orpheus encased himself in a womb of blood to shield him.

Minutes later, when the shaking had stopped, the necromancer let down his shield and looked at the rubble around him. There was no immediate sign of The Warden. "You've lost." He said, before a stirring under the rubble sounded. The enormous shadowy figure shoved the broken concrete off and stood once again to his full height. "Do you think i mislead you when i said i would help you? We are a dark guild. We have information no one outside of one could obtain. Information on other dark guilds. We may be the same, but we offer one another no protection. Join us, and their locations are all yours." The Warden stared at the necromancer for a moment, as though he weren't sure whether to attack or not."If you truly want punishment to the filth of the world, then this is the way to achieve it. You could destroy each and every one of the dark guilds, and we could give you the means to this end." The Warden lowered his club. "Alright, I'll admit your deal isn't without appeal to it. Fine. I'll join your guild."

Beucette walked into the room with them, still thinking about what the Oracle had said. Maybe that was like an upgrade for her weapon or something. In any case, she heard cal say something about someone looking just like her. Looking up, she saw what the girl was talking about, but to her it looked nothing like Cal. Not even if you squinted. Like, really hard. Believe you me, she tried it. Still looked nothing like her. Instead, the person in the water looked extremely familiar. She recognized him. It was the only man she'd ever go straight for. Yes, that's right. It was male Beuce.

The next thing anyone knew, a crimson red bra floated down and landed on Balthazar's head, and a pair of matching panties on Cal's. The rest of Beucette's outfit was scattered about the floor or on various party members. "You know whenever someone said they were ugly i always said "I'm not! I'd do me!", and this is where i get the chance! I've always wanted to do me!" Beucette said as she ran naked into the water and flung herself at the person it contained. If it had been anyone else, that probably would have seemed strange, but they'd come to expect this kind of **** out of her by now. Probably. Maybe.

After recieving his quest from the Oracle Malkira felt he had new purpose, he would become human again, he had to. Walking into the hall he saw something that took him aback. Sitting by a pool was a merperson of sorts. A merperson that confused Malkira slightly. He had always liked woman, surely. He'd had several wives when he was human, often at the same time. Yet sitting in front of the group was the most beautiful person Malkira had ever seen in his life, and it was a man. This made him want to be human again even more than before. That shock of blonde hair and slightly tanned skin, along with muscles that looked like they could easily wield a battleaxe. Malkira didn't trust it. Nobody should have this effect on his emotions. That was when Beucette dove in, this would not end well...

After being trapped on the boat for an extended period of time with a bunch of imbeciles, Mizuki was relieved when they reached land, even if that land was in fact the back of a giant turtle. Sure, there was the chance that the beast would decide to submerge and they would all then be sucked down beneath the waters with it, but it was a small risk to take given the alternative of spending more time with the other guild members.

It wasn't long before they had passed below an ornate archway into what would once have been quite a lavish room, now mostly occupied by a pool of water. And most interestingly of all, there was a woman in said pool. Her dark hair and Balthazar concealed her face from Mizuki, so she edged closer to get a better look. Dark brown hair, eyes of gold, and a motherly smile. Mizuki gripped her sword tighter in anger.

“You fucking bitch,” she spat out. “You're supposed to be dead. Tell me what you're doing here, you sick cunt, or I'll-” Mizuki stopped her verbal assault as she suddenly noticed the fish tail attached to the woman's body. A mermaid? Not quite... something strange was going on here, but Mizuki couldn't help but feel a little calmer as she realized that the woman in front of her was indeed not her mother.

Rennette gazed sadly at the now useless piece of paper, and then accusingly at Gaius.
“It can never fly again, Gaius. You relented to late,” she told him, shaking her head sadly. Suddenly she perked up though, having apparently experienced an epiphany. “Rennette knows what to do! She remembers what the paper looked like, sort of, so she could write the paper out again and show you that!” She looked around at everyone. “Is that a good idea?”
She didn't seem to want to wait for an answer however, as she immediately went to work on a random piece of paper that was lying nearby. Firstly she simply stared intently at the blank page, perhaps attempting to bore a hole in it with merely the ferocity of her gaze. The paper withstood the mighty assault, however, and Rennette was satisfied as to its structural integrity, and set to work on it with a pen, bending right over it in her work, concealing it from everyone.
After a few moments of this, Rennette was finally finished, and she held up her work to the others.
“This is what it looked like, kind of,” she told Boreal. “Does it help?”

Dale watched with mild amusement and bemusement in equal measures as Rennette and Gaius duelled for the paper. Ultimately, it came to naught and Rennette simply had to reconstruct the paper. When looking at the page, he had to note that it was an excellent replication from what he had seen; She was bizarrely talented, he had to give the girl that. Boreal examined the text in front of him with some interest, and a small amount of confusion.
"Decipher this text and earn 500,000 Jewels. Hmm, not bad. What does this bit sa-" Boreal commented. His face became a picture of surprise, and more than a little horror as he saw the words written in front of him. Of course. This. With the words in front of him, he could now understand what the problem was. Someone actually read them out. Sadly, since the original text was in Gai- Charlotte's stomach, there was only one thing for it. He smirked. "Very well everyone... I know how to dispel this. It's far, far too complicated for your tiny minds but, the short version is, you all have to kiss each other before your souls may return to their own bodies." As he said that, Dale in the wiry form of Thomas flung his arms around himself and began to passionately kiss him with all his might in an attempt to shove his soul back into his own body. As this happened, the world itself shook at the sound of an angry voice.

"What the hell Gaius? I would never do that! What's wrong with you?!?!?!?!?!?" Cried the real Dale Hawthorn as reality returned.

Dale was stood up, scowling at Gaius who was regaling them with some sort of ridiculous story to pass the time. He clenched his fist, gesturing wildly, somewhat speechless after his outburst that the cocky mage would dare say that about him. Who does he think my brother and I are?

"How come in your story, Boreal is some kind of almost heroic figure trying to help the guild, and I'm just some stroppy, angsty idiot?" Dale continued. "Do you all really think that little of me? Gah, I don't know why I waste my time. Screw you Gaius, and screw the rest of you for laughing along with him! Idiots, all of you! No wonder I have anger issues with all you prats hanging around this damn guild!" He viciously kicked a chair, sending it scattering across the hall and stormed off towards the doors of the Guild Hall with eyes on fire. He felt a headache coming on from the raw rage that his body was trying to contain. He swiped up his staff from the table it was leaning against on his way out with his sword, rarely used as it was on his belt. He was so done with these people. He felt as if his gaze would burn through the wooden doors of the hall. As he reached them, he took a final look around at them.
"I'm done! I don't know if I'll even bother to come back!" He spat, kicking flinging the doors open wide and striding out as they slammed shut behind him. Where he was going to go, he didn't know. But that was a problem for another time. Right now, he just needed to get away from those bloody wankers in the hall that mocked him continuously. They didn't know what it was like to be him, they'd never understand. "Sorry Johanna, though I bet you wouldn't even care if I was gone anyway. What a bunch of fucking fakes!"

"This... Is... So... Dull." Boreal grumbled, sitting back against the wall of the tower where he was being held hostage. He put his hand down on the floor and looked up at his captor. "Look, this is a waste of time for both of us and uncomfortable for me. Why don't we make a deal? I get to go downstairs and the S-Classes here, and I know there's at least two of you here, if not more, can watch me? Have you guys got any problems? Maybe a magic spell you don't understand that I can help you with? I've done my research, I know a lot of obscure things. How about the Moondrip? I'd wager you don't understand how that works. Or maybe matters relating to interactions between magic and the soul, hmm? If it's magical theory and some of the more obscure, older magics you want answers for, I've got it. I'll be happy to teach you all what I know if you'll just let me go out of this tower! Hell, I'll even stick around if that's what I have to do! I promise I won't try and murder my brother, but you'll have to keep him off me. How does that sound, hmm? Happy yet?" This was such an undignified place to be. He hated this situation, every aspect of it.

Sitting upstairs, picking at his nails the brown haired male listened to Boreal speak. He was admittedly rather bored of just sitting around there. "So you want to get out of here huh? Well I think I could work out some fun." When he spoke his words came out with a British accent. George had taken control of the body now. "The other two personalities are held at bay for now. Trevor may be the strongest, but I have my tricks." George announced standing up. "I suppose you would like to have a little fun would you? I have the perfect idea for that, if you behave that is."
Without another word George used his copy magic to turn into Johanna. "Your brother really likes this girl. But here is the problem. So do I. She will be mine one day. But alas, she is away right now, so may as well get some fun in pissing off your brother while we can. I trust you to know how to do that. Whether that is to hurt, poor little Johanna, or to love her, forcefully or not in front of him, I am sure you will know what to choose best." George stated as he undid Boreals chains. "Shall we go?" He asked, his voice suddenly becoming like Johanna's. With a small wink he began to head towards the stairs.

"I wonder if being drunk is as fun as you made it sound." Thomas mused as he looked around. "And you made being me sound like the worst possible thing ever. It isn't that bad!" Thomas protested. "Now get me a damn drink." He demanded, giving a quick glance at Edric. He never drank much before, he wondered if he could out drink Edric, it would be amazing if he could. "I Challenger thee to a contest of the drink." Thomas stated as he stood up putting on his best Challenger face. "The winner will get a date with the lovely Mikasa!" He annonced, figuring that would be enough to make Edric throw the contest.

Mikasa had ease dropped on Gaius' story, and was not amused in the sightless. She already felt, almost depressed because of what happened with Hasu, and that depression easily turned into rage and annoyance at the younger Guild Members. "Do you honestly think I'm going to give a drink to someone underage?" Mikasa asked Thomas. Her aura changed from annoyed to scary as soon as Thomas challenged Edric to a drinking contest, for a date with her. It was like the background behind Mikasa got dark, and the look on her face was frightening.

Her voice was quiet, but still cut through the air, as her eyes locked onto Thomas, even she could feel her own soul shake in fear.
"Do you think that girls are just some prizes to be won, Thomas?" Mikasa asked him. It was more of a challenge then a question. Her arms were crossed, and she towered over him sternly.

"Ohooo Thomas laddie, I like ya! Yer've got a bit of spirit in ya!" Edric laughed, clapping Thomas on the back. He didn't even ask Mikasa at the bar. In fact he just ignored her and slid over the counter with practiced grace, landing with a loud thud on his two feet and hefted a huge casket from under the counter, grinning. He jumped on to the counter, hefting the massive beer filled thing and hopped down again, carrying it to the table. As an afterthought, he grabbed a clean mug for Thomas and slammed it down in front of the boy. Then, he turned to look at the fuming Mikasa. "Mikasa, ta be honest with ya, I wouldn'a worry 'boot et. The little fucker es goin' to be oot cold in a minute! Beesides, girl en't prizes, the boy knoows that. He's joost tryin' ta impress senpai, aren't ya little laddie! Now run along and do yer thing, fawning after good ol' Caliborn or whatever et es that ya do in yer spare time. I'll sort this little man right oot!" I hope she listens to me. I'm trying to defuse the situation here. Thomas is a little thick, and he's just gonna make the crazy bint angry. I don't want to have to mop up Thomas paste from the floor. Edric leaned in to Thomas.
"Ef ee were ya, apologise. Et'll make her pissed at me fer being a dick rather than at you." Edric whispered. I'd rather she were angry at me than the lad. He don't deserve her wrath. Better that it comes to me. I'm older and I'll take it better than he will. Also, I can actually handle her in terms of magic which he does not have the blessing of. He felt a little tense as the situation went on.

Boreal's face lit up in a wicked grin at George's suggestion. If I can't have my revenge on you by surpassing you in battle brother, I'll just torture you with what you love the most! He had to resist the urge to laugh. Are you ready brother? I'm about to make your life hell with this guy.

"I think you and I might be friends." Boreal said a little ominously as George changed his shape into Johanna. He slipped his arm around Johanna/George's as they walked down the stairs. "Trust me, this will get to him. There was a girl in the village that he lived in. Mother and I came to visit Dale and my father while father's new wife was away in the town with a sick aunt. There was a girl in town that Dale liked. While we were there, he wanted to play outside so I decided to get some of his friends. Sadly, the naive little boy told me where she lived while he went to get some other boy. I came back with her like this. The look on his face was priceless, not to mention the part where he tried to split the two of us apart. We were young then, but I don't think he's changed very much. I know exactly what to do. Play along with me. We'll get the reaction you want..." Boreal flashed a killer's smile as they walked 'together'. This was going to be so worth it.

Thomas shut up as Mikasa walked towards him. She then asked him a question, one though he was scared to answer, he actually had an answer for. "N-no Ma'am. My formal master always told me that woman were a treasure to be earned. Not a prize to be won. Though he never was the greatest example at getting the ladies you see." Thomas then grabbed his drink and heeded Edric's advice. "I am sorry ma'am." With that he chugged the entire pint of beer, hoping it might ease the pain when Mikasa most likely punched him for his words. When he finished it he slammed his cup down on the table waiting for a refill. His eyes went from Mikasa to Edric to see if Mikasa would leave and he could finish his drinking contest with Edric.

"Of course, lets do this." George said sweetly as he wrapped his slender female arm around Boreal's waist. As they reached the ground floor George caught sight of Dale about to leave, fuming mad. He had to stop him, make him see. "Dale? What is the matter?" George asked letting his copy magic make him seem exactly like Johanna. Before Dale would have a chance to turn around she gave Boreal a quick wink. It was his turn. He could cause the damage to destroy Dale and what would lead to destroying any relationship that Johanna and him ever had. It would have to go for George to move in. And in the process he got to make Boreal a little more happy, he wouldn't have to listen to his complaining, and that was a very good thing indeed.

Caliborn followed along quietly as they went on the boat to the enigmatic Vanishing Isle. It was a legend he had heard in these parts, although he hadn't actually seen it himself. This he knew, was a rarity. To see it, let alone set foot on it was a truly remarkable thing. He was more struck by the enormous turtle the buildings rested upon. It was a majestic beast. One day, he would put together a hunting party and try to slay the beast. He was fond of his little hunting trips, seeking the most exotic of creatures from across the world. Naturally, he would need to bring Dale with him to chronicle the hunt and to make the model of it afterwards. It would have to be his largest and most impressive creation yet. The isle itself, he noted, was extravagant. Who built this place I wonder, and why? A fitting place I suppose, to keep the legendary Hand of Midas, but still... It would be difficult for anyone to build this. There was potent magic used in this construction. Perhaps I shouldn't hunt the turtle, it would ruin the majesty of this place. It is one of the wonders of the world perhaps, if only for the sheer defiance of possibility and physics for its existence. As they walked along, the S-Class wizard admired the bizarre castle-like structure, all the while looking around. He was still uneasy. Something seemed wrong about all this. This was too easy, and something about the name Riders of the Desert bothered him. Something seemed wrong with them, but he still couldn't find any hard evidence for it. He would launch his own private inquiry at some point. He was glad that Balthazar had promised them the Oracle's Staff. It seemed good to take away items of such power from these people.

When they entered the hall, Caliborn stopped only for a moment before reaching for Ashmark on his back. The woman in front of him, half human, half fish, a mermaid was rare enough, but he knew the true nature of it. it was not what it appeared and it appeared to have the whole party smitten. Not only that, but Beucette was taken in by the imagining of hers', going so far as to strip herself down before throwing herself at the creature. He cursed her idiocy. She was going to need rescuing- Desperately. Still, he wondered what she saw. The woman he saw was tall and thin. Her eyes were wide and brown, her hair a golden brown that ran down her back with strands hanging over her face, adding an aura of mystery to the elegant figure. Her smile was wide, her expression enigmatic yet she was poised enticingly, practically drawing him in. This only made his grip on Ashmark tighten as he drew back the string. His brow was furrowed in concentration as he resisted the illusion of the siren with all his willpower.

"Everyone, stay back! It's not what you think it is!" Caliborn ordered.
