"Alright, here's the gist of things." Dale began. "A young student from a highschool near by has asked us to investigate the school for paranormal activity. Apperently a student at the school had been acting strange after a Ouji board was brought in. She jumped on her desk in the middle of class, and she was eating sand from the sand box. They think she might be possessed by a fox. Another student also contacted me. She explained that a seat in her class had been cursed. Every single person who's sat there in the last few months had undergone an accident. And the same type of accident too. They've all gotten their arms caught in the doors of the trains, and then been dragged by it. The teacher was also effected, making a fuss about seeing ghosts. He ended up in the hospital and keeps coughing up blood and they can't figure out why. There's all sorts of random and strange accidents. After we were told about this, the Prinicple also asked us for our help. They're full of non magical students, and no one knows what to do. That's what we're there to do. We've got to sort out this series of curses and spirits upon the school. Any questions? If not, now we ride! Just observe one thing- I give an order and you follow. That way everyone comes out of here alive."

Alright, that was that. Now it was time to test the teamwork skills here. He had no idea how this was going to work. Hopefully, they all listened to him. If they didn't, there was going to be trouble. Whenever authority was questioned there was always trouble. He stood up and straightened his coat. He looked at them all in the eye for a few seconds each, trying to get a read on those faces in front of him. Strange faces, apart from Scarlett, but even she was little stranger than the rest. A fragile alliance it was between the two of them. Perhaps it could be strengthened with time, but for now... He was thinking of her too closely. She could be a friend, but she could be like the rest. He hoped she was someone he could trust. He needed more than just Caliborn, Johanna and Evanora. The more people the better. Lucia and Calxiyn... They would listen surely. The two of them presented themselves in good order, but everyone else was an enigma. Some more than others. That woman was still starting at Lucia. These people made no sense.

Show me what you've got team. Show me who you are. If you're good... Then we may just get somewhere... Only time will tell. And then maybe, one or two of you will be good to me in the future. I refuse to be this way forever! I will make something of myself here, and maybe, just maybe, Johanna will be mine... And no masked men to get in my way!

"So we're going on a ghost hunt then." Zwei said after Dale had finished explaining what they would be doing on this job. It figures that a high school would end up haunted for whatever reason, but that's what happened when you mess with a Quji board. Someone gets possessed. Least this time people aren't dying.

 

Ander used Thunder. It did 1 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 7! The Wisps blocked 1 of the damage. The Wisps used Whip. It did 4 damage, but with Speed and Strength it did 28!.... Um well this is awkward. Ander's defense blocked 1 of the damage.

Gaius pulled forwards, trying to break free of Ra's grip. He was swinging his fists in front of him, swiping at the air as he tried to reach Thomas. "Let me go! Let go of me!" he growled, still trying to get free. After a few moments he stopped pulling towards Thomas and stood straight. He was released by Ra, and immediately his first thought was to jump onto Thomas once more, but he resisted the urge. "She ain't my girlfriend, she's Caleb's. Now quit saying it before I knock you flat onto your ass" Gaius said. "I'll be part of the team. It'll be way stronger with me on it, and there's no way I'm going to be kept out of a team with a golden bird as our mascot!" the boy stated enthusiastically.

However, there was one issue. Thomas. He stepped in front of Thomas and pulled his arm back, as though he was going to punch him, but instead he extended his arm and held out his hand. "You sure you won't rethink being on this team? If we become the strongest team, girls are going to worship you. You will be like a god to them. You won't even have to hit on them, they're just going to want to be around you" he said, trying to convince Thomas to join. He didn't like the guy, but at least he knew how to take a punch. Besides, maybe if he was on the team, him and Gaius would actually get to be friends, and if that happened Gaius had a free training dummy.


"Sounds like a curse, yeah. The poor girl must be terrified! When can we leave?" Skadi asked. Despite not knowing the cursed girl, Skadi was concerned for her well-being. She could only imagine how terrified she herself would be if there was a curse on her, let alone how a young girl would be. The sooner that she went and helped remove the curse, the better.​

Mysterious Labyrinth




Mikasa and the group walked through the odd house they were in. This is where their Job took place. They were guided by a butler, of course. Even the Butler seemed confused as to why the house was decorated in such an odd manner. "This house is beautiful." Mikasa said sarcastically. There were stair cases on the higher walls, doors inside of the floor, and windows on the ceiling. "This house has been unoccupied for some time." Mikasa explained. "Please try not to break anything until we're actually fighting things, ok?" Mikasa told them. They arrived at a door.

"The other Guilds are already here, my lady." The butler said.

"When you come in, introduce yourselves." She told them. "Mizuki, remember to introduce yourself as Mikasa, alright?" She reminded her. "I've taken your name, so please use to call me by in the presences of others, are we clear?" She asked.

Mikasa went through, waiting for the others to follow.

Charlotte was intrigued by the strangely armored avian man's offer of making a team. While she did understand the importance of camaraderie between guild mates, the thought of forming an actual team right from the get go had not crossed her mind. She looked at the people who was suggested to be members of their team and figured that they would be good teammates. After all, they had fought each other, and thus had forged bonds thicker than blood straight from the get go. She turned to Ragamesh and said, "I agree to this wholeheartedly. We shall become the strongest of teams, and none will be able to stop our path of the righteous."

Spoopy Labbyranth​

The newly formed team, and Mizuki and Mikasa, had all made their way to the mansion to which they were supposed to solve some form of problem. Granted, they weren't entirely sure what the problem was at the moment. However the place seemed to be oddly decorated and their S-Class supervisor seemed to be extremely bitter about its decoration. While she had respect for the woman, she still felt her attitude was a tad uncalled for. They were then told not to break anything, to which Charlotte responded with a "yes ma'am." The group was then lead into their next room where they were to talk with the other guilds were, though the moment they did, Charlotte was struck with a exceedingly bright light whiting out her vision, only to be momentarily replaced with pitch blackness. It was then that her vision shook violently as it came back. With that she saw there was feet running across the ground and blood splattering across the ground. Eventually her vision readjusted itself and the blood had vanished. Though it was gone, Charlotte had felt something foul about this place. Regardless, she figured what she just saw to be completely unimportant and not worth sharing because anime.

 

Gaius just stood there in shock. His plan had actually worked, Thomas had agreed. "Uh...thanks, but I'm sure once they see me fight, I'll have plenty. Maybe even more than you, yeah?" Gaius responded, his mood lifting at the idea of having an actual punching bag. Cocky grin showing once again, he decided to speak. "Just stick with me, and we'll be the best team in no time, you'll see" the boy said.

Gaius was getting kinda bored. He had imagined the mission to be much more simple than what it was. When he'd signed up, he had thought that it would be a simple matter of 'hey there's the bad guys, go get them' but he couldn't have been further from the truth. He had signed up for what seemed to be a plain old meeting. He paid attention, but damn it was difficult. As Mikasa mentioned avoiding breaking things, he casually leaned to the side against the vase that was on there. It looked stable enough, right? Wrong. It fell to the ground with a shatter, and Gaius just stood there, frozen in shock for a moment. "We won't break a thing, except that one. That's the one thing I'm going to break, promise" he said sheepishly.

Once they were inside the meeting room, he was amazed that Thomas jumped up onto the table. Amazed and annoyed. He had totally stolen his thing. Well, he wasn't going to be outdone by some desperate pervert, not if he could help it. Leaping up onto the table, he landed directly onto the table, sending papers on there flowing around the room with the effort he put into the landing. "What my friend here meant to say, is that it is in fact me that is the greatest wizard of them all!" he said, before patting him on the back and saying a quick "Thanks Thomas".

He then gave a mock bow, and upon standing up straight once again he went on to do the most amazing introduction ever. "But hey, what kinda grand wizard would I be without a kickass team, right? Behind me stands a brilliant team. We have Charlotte, the girl that appears fragile, but takes a hit better than any of the other guys in the team. Then there's Veilen, the guy that I'm sure does something, but we haven't quite figured it out yet! We also have Thomas, our resident ladies man capable of striking out as many times as you wish your least favourite baseball team did. Last, but certainly not least, we have Ra, our beautifully adorned mascot and leader, who speaks with fancy words so that you know he knows his ****" he said, before stopping for a moment to let the awesome sink in. He then opened his mouth once again. "And I am Gaius Ryan, the guy that's going to drag their butts along and make us the best team ever! Oh yeah, on the sidelines there's also Mikasa!" he said, pointing at the actual Mikasa. Fortunately, he remembered the plan, even if it was a minute later. Shaking his head and waving his hands, he attempted to fix it. "I mean, that's not Mikasa! This person is Mikasa!" the boy said, now pointing at Mizuki instead. Damn he was a genius, he almost gave everything away.​

Ren backed away from the thing that had come up from behind the tablet. He didn't think this was a child, even if it did laugh like one. "You're not a kid, right?" he double checked. The only response he got was more laughter. "Alright, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're not one of the kids I'm looking for, ok." He raised his staff dramatically above his head, and brought it crashing down onto the ground, not for any practical reason, but because if anyone was watching it would look pretty cool.

Mizuki entered the meeting room, her head raised slightly higher than usual and her shoulders back, trying to put on an air of authority. She would have preferred to have entered the room first, as befitted someone who was in charge, or was pretending to be, but it seemed Mikasa had forgotten that minor detail. Old habits die hard, Mizuki though to herself.
They were in the room barely five seconds when Thomas and Gaius were already making a show. Great. Well obviously this couldn't go on, and since Mizuki was posing as Mikasa in this situation it would have to be her that was seen dealing out discipline. Hopefully the two stooges would catch on to that fact.
"Get the **** off the table, NOW," she ordered them, her hands on her hips and her voice full of authority. The other people in the room had to believe that she was really Mikasa. "You have two seconds to get your **** together. Move."
She turned to the other guilds in the room to address them. "My apologies for these two. New guys, you know?" There was a murmur of understanding around the table from the other guilds members, and even a few chuckles. They understood the situation, they themselves had had to deal with overzealous newbies in their time.
"My name is Mikasa," Mizuki announced, "and these five, for better or worse, are my comrades." She pointed to each member as she introduced them. "Ra, Charlotte, Veilen, Mizuki. Thomas and Gaius you have already met. We are to represent Sapphire Eclipse."

"Ahem." A man cleared this throat trying to get everyone's attention. "Thank you all for coming. We're glad to have..." He looked at Thomas and Gaius. "Such enthusiasm." He looked away, almost in fear. "As you know this house has been uninhabited for quite some time, and that seems to draw the attention of young teenagers. Apparently 3 broke in a few months ago, but one of them had gone missing inside of this house. A young man from the Blue Pegasus Guild had been searching for the missing teen also disappeared."

Mikasa nodded, she could see exactly where this was going.

"And then there after, people reported seeing Fox Fires around the house." The man continued. "In fact, there are many who would swear on their very souls that this house is haunted. While the house was being remolded their were stories of workers disappearing. Of course, we don't want anyone else to come to harm."

Mikasa muttered to herself. "And you don't want any negative rumors."

"Which is why you've all been invited here. Whoever is successful will receive a huge reward." The man went on. "Now please let me introduce everyone who has so kindly joined us today."



"Hello! I'm Blaze Steel, and this is my assistant Sparkle! We're both from the Arachna Guild, the very best they have to offer in fact!" Blaze shouted excitedly.

"Let's just put this ghost out of it's misery." Sparkle said. She seemed very irritated at Blaze for being so loud.





"Hello, I'm am Ms. Callegari. I a Medium as well as a Wizard of course. I'm not from any Guild, sorry to disappoint." She popped the gum she was chewing in her mouth, while she propped her feet on the table. "This is my assistant Rosy." She gestured over to a scared looking girl sitting beside her.



"The name's Leon. Pleasure to met all of you. Nothing personal, but I'm not going to accept help from any of you lamers." Leon told them. "This prize is for me and me alone."

 

Child's Play



It wasn't a long ride to the next town over across pleasant countryside. The weather was fine, which was a plus. It would have been a miserable affair to be out in the rain. The town of Ichigo was coming up. it was quite large. He knew from previous visits that it was divided functionally into two halves. Although it wasn't official, people had divided the city into Magical and Non Magical districts. Generally, they were called out to deal with problems in the magical district because people had all kinds of accidents in there, although it was less common to have problems in the non magical section. He led them down one of the main roads towards the richer area of the city. He knew where to find Zarine's house. He'd been a guest at their place enough times that he could get there in his sleep. They arrived at the house within minutes of getting into the town thanks to Caliborn's speedy pathfinding.

The house was two stories. Small in comparison to some of the stuff up at the higher end of this district but very respectable in comparison to much of the housing. And while not the tallest, it was certainly wide. He wasn't quite sure how many rooms there were exactly. He never bothered counting but there were plenty enough. The facade of the house showed the front door covered by an archway on a small porch with a small set of stairs leading up to it. It was a brick house, and he could see at least eight windows at the front divided equally between the top and bottom floor. A single large chimney rose up letting a little smoke out into the cool air of the day. There was a nicely tended front lawn and Caliborn knew there was a reasonably sized garden behind the house.
"Alright everyone, as respectful as you can please. Zarine is an old friend and I wouldn't like her to be offended." He didn't expect any trouble though. This was a nice group. He was unlikely to have to worry.

They too happened to be on the road to Ichigo. He wasn't sure if any of the other guild members had noticed but all the jobs were here. What was going on? Apparently this town was all sorts of cursed at the moment. Curious. He saw Caliborn's group heading straight ahead, although they had a right turn. Weird. It was almost as if all of this was perfectly timed... That had to be his suspicion talking. That was unlikely. He followed the wooden signposts to the school. "No magic where possible. This is the non-magical quarter of the town and they won't take kindly to us rushing in spells blazing. Also this is a school. Best behaviour. Now, we're going to see the principal. Ask him question if you have them, but make sure you're polite and afford him with the respect that he deserves." Alessia was lost. Where did she go? Why did she run away like that? No matter. She had to find the child. She did her best to follow the stick whacking noise, but it was to limited avail. It echoed all over the place around here so it was anyone's guess where it came from.
"Come on, where are you?" She asked nobody in particular. She didn't like this, not one bit. Looking for a lost child in the woods never bode well. Sighing, she made her way around. She thought she caught movement, and so ran over to check out Bush 2.
