I really liked Numb Hate but Day of Fantasy baffled me. It was amazing until I got to the line "and watch the stars fall like drops of glue". Glue? Everything else is so sophisticated and beautiful, glue just doesn't fit. It doesn't do the rest of the poem justice. I really liked the penultimate line, though, and overall it was lovely of course :3

    Wait for this

    Wait for this.
    Wait for this
    .

    The silence of the creatures,
    It foretells of redemption

Broken minds lay on a table,
    Melted together by the judgment,
    Of the angels.

    Wait for this.
    Wait for this.

    The silence of the unborn,
    It foretells of the destruction.

    Disarray of souls scattered unable
To find their way back to salvation
    Of the Messiah.

    Wait for this.
    Wait for this.

    The silence of the Spirit.
    It foretells of the moment.

    When, it all goes down.
    Babel, your little toy world
Under the nix of your sins
    Oh, who shall be spared?

    When, the trumpets sound,
And to start anew, they sound.
    Into a dissonant harmony.
    Oh, rejoice in the beginning!

    Wait for this.
    Wait for this....

    The beginning of the end.

    Scarlet Masquerade

Man is powerless, fickle and stained
    devoid of that great importance.

And so we dream, we see
    the distorted land, upon our
    crystal clear sand.

    It flows freely about our
    Scarlet land, creating colored
    oubilletes.

It's rose withered by the hands,
time, excuses, petals dry of water.

    Their scarlet colors running,
    molding to our fear.
    These petals bleeding into shades.

    This face, the model
    Of this Scarlet Masquerade

    The tune of my soul

    Maybe
    the scattered words of tomorrow,
will not be so hard at road's end.

    And, perhaps
Eternity is not as fleeting as
    we wish it to be.

    Upon the scattered scraps,
    rain begins to fall,
as if to becknon my thoughts.

Upon this misty land of gray,
    rain begins to fall again.

    To nourish the intensity.
please, light, be at my mercy
for today ends this great adventure.

    And to a new, steady,
    silver lining, I move foward
    ever so steadily.

    And so, the maidens
    sing of lost praises
and the guitar string begins to tune.

    For this neverending dream
    Will break soon, and
    To adventure anew.

    Into the mystical depths.
    upon, the world's mighty end
and the guitar strings it's tune, again.

A new melody for my soul.

And so, this last melody ends
    with it's broken corded pain
    to weave new adventures
today, the guitar sings it's tune, again.

Comment: The first one was for a poetry contest(which I never entered). The second one is meh(done in my notebook in a rush), and the third one...this one is the most curious out of them all, because I was listening to a person play, and he would constantly change the tune as I wrote, so each part is a bit different from the other and I was following the melody, mainly. Completely experimental.

    Back in Action?

I was so blocked, but now...I feel like my feelings are stronger to keep writing, and now...I want to revive my thread.'I've been neglecting the CC a bit, and it's rather sad. I'll try to keep my thread more alive.

    Here Alive

    Because I'm here alive
    the morning will sing,
    the night will shine.

    When you ask me:
    why smile?
    I will answer back:
    Why not smile?

    Because you're here alive...
    we can laugh, and live
    we can watch the stars.

    Because we are here alive,
    roses are born unto soil,
crosses are burned for each soul.

    When I tell you:
    Thus the essence of life
    You will answer:
    It's a good life

    Because we are here alive.

    Once I was

Once I was gold; once you'd lay your heads on the line.
Send the forces, stare in awe, for a new treasure found to abide.

Now I'm dust; second-tier grade, at best.
And the pedestal I've worked so hard to maintain...
has finally been broken, never to remain.

Call the beggars, call the whores
    surely they still have
    the desire to behold.

The remnants of my putrid meat,
the decaying fragments of my soul.
Once I was; I am no more.
Kill this lasting traces of grandeur.

    For empires broken,
    and kingdoms conquered,
no one will ever tame my voice.

    Hear me now,
as I scream out in shame,
    Scream to the heavens,
    scream in my silence.

    How I was once Gold;
    but it seems that now
    I'm merely nothing, no more.

Comment: The first one was written a few months back, before the huge blockade. The second was a few days ago. A way to express my feelings. Right now, I feel so unusual.
