First of all, what stands out to me the most is how monotone this is. It's all just Blue. And not different shade, just blue. Try to use more than one layer for coloring. Not focusing on that... : Sonic's hand looks a little choppy, along with the effects next to it. In front of him and to the right looks pretty good. The text is so so, but it's not too bad. You've done better, but you might just be hitting a block.

    This isn't to bad.
I think pull that half moon thing back behind the renders hand.
And add a lighting source just to add some flow to it.
    But over all, muy bueno

Excellant V.2 Moodkip I'm really a fan of your work. the shading is a lot better and the hand is way clearer but I'm not sure if i can see black in the background (which IMO doesn't suit Sonic unless he's Shadow-fied) the colours that say sonic to me are an ocean esque colour and dim light white (my advice is to incorporate those two colours into it). But all in all it's still quite good... 8/10

    Now thats too bright.
get rid of teh lighting you did.
    Take a soft round brush
    Colour white, lower the opacity
Brush a few dots above the render or below.
    Then add gradient maps.
B/W at soft light a nd play with the opacity
and a purple orange at soft light and mess with the opacity.

V2's too bright. Make it two mid range colors and hue sat test it.

The lighting is way too bright. Try lowering that down. Make the text on a different place, that'll make it more visible.

    GJ though.
