Has anyone else ever noticed in the first kingdom hearts, little secrets and stuff are EVERYWHERE?

For example, in Traverse Town, in the hotel there's a weird kind of mini-game. You hit the bell and someone behind the check out desk says something, and you have to use it to accomplish a task in the hotel (like hitting the clock). And then you get an item?

When I beat Phantom and Kurt Zisa for the first time, I went to the coliseum, and I found a purple vase hidden behind some pillars, and it contained...I think it was orichulam (not sure how you spell that).

And then, the postcards in Traverse Town. Has anyone ever found them all?

And have you noticed these things?

In KH2, I missed this stuff.

It would have been nicer if they had funny little secrets like that in KH2. Hopefully in the next game they have fun things like that.

Yeah, I found those. Also, there were items to be gained at Big Ben after you beat Phantom. >_> I was annoying that we had to wait one day per item, twelve in all. You'll recognize which mini-door to go to by a light. After you obtain an item, a light will shine at one of the clock faces.

KH1 was so awesome with all its little mini-games, also the Trinity things, and in Deep Jungle you can get the recipes to cook up an item. Also there's loads of mini-games that actually have a point because you get reqards, where as in KH2 you never get rewards for doing all the stupid mini-games.

I have to agree, other than trying to get 100% in the jornual, they felt pointless and after getting the right score I would never want to do them again.

Yeah, they had no replayability or extra stages to get more rewards.

If only Square had ADD. Then the mini-games might actually be fun in KH2. THey didn't seem to put much effort in making the mini-games replayable for fun.

LOL if thats true then they should hire me cuz I gots some serious ADD/ADHD. The only minigame that I actually went back to play just for fun was I think the one in the Hundred Acre Wood with Pooh and you had to go thoughout the book and collect hunny... I luv Pooh he's so cute :)

I have ADD too, but maybe the problem was that they did too. Maybe they got all that they wanted from it, then moved on rather quickly. I dunno, but the mini games I would make up would be on crack

I thought the actual minigames in KH1 were pretty boring, like the Deep Jungle racing. Does the Gummi Ship count as a minigame? Also, the trinities weren't really worth the effort either.

Did anyone try the Halloween Town secret? You go into the evil playroom and push the small button close to the switch that opens the secret door. That button changes the lights in the room and Lock, Shock, and Barrel say different things to you! "hey, who turned out the lights?" haha

I loved those mini games, in kh1, it would take 24 hours before ya beat the game, 200 hours before you could leave the game alone....

But, the postcards were fun, I never found them all, but one thing I pride my self in was being able to get the postcard in cids shop, and the one on top of the mad hatters store, and the one just outside the gizmo shop in the beginning of the game....

I was able to get them before I even found donald and goofy....
