Been watching horror movies pretty much all day (including Session 9, Apollo 18, V/H/S, Leviathan, and Event Horizon)

    Could you guys recommend some?

Also, if you know it's on Netflix, it'd be cool if you included that bit :>

I saw one on the Playstation Store called No One Lives or something. Looked pretty cool.

    Vacancy
    Wolf Creek
The Collection (imo it's a bit lame but still worth watching)

    I'll look into that later
    Seen it.
Is it bad the French part is more a deterrent than the gore? Only cause, with horror, it's much easier to get creeped out when I don't have to read (also it's not on Netflix)
    Maybe
    I REALLY WANT TO SEE THIS ONE BUT IT'S NOT ON NETFLIX ;.;
Is this the one with the dude who puts a guy in chains between two cars or something? If so, seen it
    Why does this sound familiar...
Eh, maybe, but I already know it won't be the kind of horror I love
Misty why are you even in this thread miss
    Seen it.

Not in-your-face horror, but horror nonetheless.

Why did I even laugh at this? Oh yeah, because it's true. After all, it was a horror movie in my eyes when I saw it the first time. XD

    Paranormal Activity, hurhurhuhrurhur

But seriously, if you're looking for a bit of a foreign experience, I suggest the original Taiwanese version of The Eye. Bricks shall be shat D:

There's also that ONE Italian flick, but the name escapes me and I'm just mad at myself for not remembering DD:

    I'd like to recommend a loit, but it depends on what horror you like;
Satirical, psychological, classic, suspense, sci-fi, teen slaughter, etc.

    From the top of my head;
Nosferatu (1922), 28 days later, The Shining, Dawn of the Dead, 1982's the Thing, Psycho (1960), Rosemary's Baby (1968), Evil dead 2, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist TVYNS (the ersion you've never Seen), Alien, Dead Silence, Trick 'r Treat (Isn't that scary, but fun for a Halloween theme.)

After listing all these movies, I want to have a little marathon of my own...

    The Human Centipede

    Heeheehee

There's also The Possession. it's basically a Jewish version of The Exorcist. Not too great, I personally enjoyed it, but it's also a good metaphor for how kids react to divorce.
Sadako (A continuation of The Ring series in Japan)
    Carrie

Also, Trick r Treat used to be on Netflix, but I can't find it anymore on there. Look for it; one of the best modern day horror movies.

Already on my list, though I've seen Let Me In which is the American remake and was still pretty good regardless

I also was talking about games, don't worry. And I already have Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Wanting dat Machine for Pigs though
I actually like the concept of the Paranormal Activity films, but the execution always disappoints, turning it into more of a comedy than a horror for me

I'll keep an eye on it...snicker...

    On the list.

    Seen it.

    Seen it <3

    Seen it.

Seen it. MY FAVORITE HORROR FILM EVER <3

    On the list.

    On the list.

    Seen it.

I'll add the old one to the list. New ones don't interest me.

Huh? Is this the old one or the remake or what?

    Seen it <3

    On the list.

Honestly, I hated this movie. Just couldn't enjoy it for some reason.

Seen it. DIDN'T WANT TO BUT I HAD TO BE THE MAN WHO ACTUALLY FINISHED IT

Hmmm, interesting. I'll look for it.

    On the list.

    On the list.

As stated above, I hated this movie and don't get the hype around it at all.

    Puppet Master, the first movie.

It's old so the effects might be ehhhhhhhhhh but it has the guy who plays the old partner in MIB.

And if you're just in a mood for horror in general, I recommend looking up Mr. Creepypasta on Youtube. There are a good number of stories on the channel that are surprisingly effective.

For all the movies I listed, it would probably be the one I least recommend, but something about the ending I enjoyed that always made me remember it. As you can see from the list, I tried to think of diverse movies that weren't always suggested (Though most of the list is)

The Exorcist TVYNS is an edited cut that features remastered music, and altered scenes. The original is always my favorite, but this alternate is still very well done.

Also, good call on never watching the remakes.

My friend recommended it and thought it was great too, but when we watched it with a group of friends, he was literally the only person who liked it. I just don't really understand what's good about it? And that's rare for me to say: I can even point out good things about the Transformers movies.

    Know where to find it?

The only good remake I've seen for horror movies so far has been The Thing. John Carpenter's version.

    On Netflix:
    House on Haunted Hill (1959)
    The Fourth Kind
    Scream
Silent Hill Revelation (if you've seen the first Silent Hill movie, or are a fan of the games)
    Phantom of the Opera (1925)

Not on Netflix, but I'm gonna' recommend them anyways because they're just that good:
    Doctor Phibes
    Silent Hill
    Candy Man
    The Ring
    The Brain That Wouldn't Die
    Ginger Snaps
    House of Wax (1953)
