Sorry if this isn't the right place but i think it is. Anyway, I'm wanting to burn a copy of KH2 FM with the English patch installed. I have a couple questions regarding that though. What all would i need to do this? I heard a regular PS2 won't play a burnt disc, how do i fix that? How do i install the patch? Where would i download the game? I pretty much would need someone to walk me through it but i know next to nothing about technology so try to keep it simple and forgive me if i ask some stupid questions.
Easiest route would be SwapMagic if you can get your hands on it. Or emulation if you have a good enough computer. Instructions are included on the same site as the patch itself. I can reword it if you found it confusing, but it is all there. You don't. You should buy the game and copy it to your computer. The best price I'm finding is $40 HERE Feel free to ask all the stupid questions you like. I would rather that than try and trouble shoot some obscure mistake later.
Swap Magic is the best route if you want to avoid soldering chips and voiding your warranty. You will also need a Flip Top Converter or tape the sensors down in a few places. Download the KH2 Patcher exe file and Rev5 English patch and make a new folder and place both the patch and game itself in there. Drag the patch over the exe file to open it and type the location of the iso like C:/Users/your name/Desktop/KH2FM/KH2FM.iso for example. You DON'T download it. You buy it. I recommend Japan Video Games, good pricing and got my copy within the week. There's no such thing as a "Stupid" question. Only uninformed quires. Feel free to ask me anytime.
