I'm making an AMV to Through The Fire and Flames (with Sony Vegas)

You think i'll finish it (and make it look awesome) before i'm thirty?

I'm trying to make it at least half as good as Pwill's version... oh who the hell am I kidding? I'm gonna fail and give up after about five hours of work (it's already happened to me... twice).

Anything you guys wanna say? I've been working for maybe 3 hours already and the 7 seconds of it that's done are looking epic. (I'll let you see it later, if I ever feel like uploading it)

 

You'll do fine. Do what I do and edit all the footage together before worrying about effects.

 

I know. That's what I am doing. I'm just focusing on consistency and timing before I go all effects whoreish like I always do eventually...

I just wanna try and make a half-decent AMV to the song. Pwill's vid inspired me. That's all. If you don't like it then suck my non-existent wiener!

Seems decent for an intro, but make sure you don't overuse effects in the middle. Use the effects mainly in the most important parts of the video.
Looking forward to the completed version. :P

I'm sorry but when making an AMV to this song you have to go big or it'll suck...

Oh... well I had a major block on inspiration so I know how you feel. Sometimes watching other people's work -cough-Pwilliard & Avidityy-cough- will help me to be inspired and/or feel like making a vid. Sometimes the end result of that will be crappy but then it gets you back into making good ones.

 

Yeah, I often see other people's work and become inspired.
But then I never have the time and soon forget my motivation :c
