Help I'm losing post count.

Either my posts are getting deleted or my post count is being manually lowered.

I have to assume this is either because (1) there is some manner of error occurring or (2) my posts are violating some rule and are being deleted.

Either way, I'm not receiving any notifications as far as I can tell, it's just kind of happening. And I can't seem to find any missing posts so I don't really know which it could be. If 1, I figured I ought to bring attention to this. If 2, I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong so I can stop doing it. :\

 

I would have to double check with the other staff, but as far as I know, none of your posts have been hard deleted.

Your post count can only get lowered if:

1. You/Staff deletes your post
2. A thread you posted in gets moved from a post-counting section to a non-post counting section.
3. We have a server rollback (which I don't think has happened since we changed servers a few months ago)

If you're positive that posts are being deducted can look further into it. Also, about how many posts were we talking about here? 10 or more?

 

Not too many. Usually just one or two at a time. I figured it was either a server hiccup or some minor offense.

But actually, my post count just suddenly jumped up to about where it should be. Weird. Either way, no big, just wanted to make sure I brought it up.

 

ok its nice to know its not just me my post count has been getting lower too. I though maybe i was just going crazy. Sometimes when i post a reply in a topic it gets dealted and i have no idea why eather. ive creak the rules a few times and if wasnt breaking any rules eather <_<. Its nice to know im not going nuts yet

 

Well I've been deleting stuff in the Kingdom Hearts section, and I know Wolfie and I recently deleted a lot from the Intro section, so they might've been some of yours. If you can remember threads that you think you've posted in that you can't find your post in I can of course check for you.

 

Those posts were spam. I suggest you read the rules stickied in sections as well as the main ones.

That and I've moved quite a few "off topic" KH threads, so that's probably why as well.

 

some of my posts didn't count

i made a few posts the other day and it was about 204-6 and then i when online the next day and it went right back to 200 and i looked back at the thread i posted on and my post was gone.

 

That's because your posts were considered spam.
