Im kinda freaked out!

PLEASE READ!


I have msn messenger.
I logged in like 5 minutes ago and there is someone asking if I could be added to "her" list.
I gave permission. Then "she" starts chatting with me. I dont know the girls and never heard of her. I ask how she got my adress and she says she really doesnt remember. I start chatting and she asks how old I am. I say 14 and for some strange reason she also is 14. What a coincedence huh?

I tell her that maybe she got my address through myspace and she says yeah probably. She hangs at myspace alot.

The I tell her that I didnt show my address in my myspace. Then she makes up some FAKE excuse saying that her friend "heather" (what a common name) probaly added me. She says that "heather" was in a chat room and was adding people to her msn.

Funny thing is that I dont chat in chat rooms.

The I tell her the following:

"You know what would be really funny? If you were somekind of internet predator. lol :)"

Then she disconnects. So I blocked her.

What do you think.
A stupid internet predator tried getting me! Stupid predator I hope he dies!

 

yeah that is weird. i usually block people i don't know.
But it's strange that she got your email address. Have you ever written it on a forum or something?

Never posted for public.

That's exactly why my parents tell me never to give out other usernames, e-mails, or anything else personal. Probably was a predator. People are weird like that. Good thing trapping them like that though. Good thing you blocked them too. ^_^

Thanks for the warning. I'm on MSN and I have only talk to people I know and trust. I don't use chatrooms either. Perhaps this weird person found your address by some random method.

I would definitely block anyone who scared me.

 

It could've been a dream or was it that same idiot who tried to stock me...er...something on Yahoo messenger? I switch to something else (AIM) and I asked the "people" if they could delete my Messenger account. I blocked 'em too. Weird stuff happens in which you don't like 'em.

 

I'm sorry I laughed my *** off when I read that xDDD

and yea, I wouldn't leave my msn address anywhere because anyone can find it and add you.......but if they ask to add you and you don't know who they are do what I do and say no ^-^

 

Before all this happened did one of the people you talk to on MSN send you an e-mail that was to loads of other people as well, cus that how someone got my addy and when they added me and we started talking they started to tell me some things you don't tell someone you just met so I blocked them

 

That happens to me a lot. I just tell them false information. They're usually robots trying to link you to a site so you get a virus.

Yeah, this can happen alot. I got added by some guy called Bob...didn't know who the hell he was and how he got my email. Just blocked him and moved on.

 

i got an email once from a guy saying he had lost all his numbers in his mobile phones & wanted people to email him their numbers. so i replied to him saying
"sure i would but 2 problem's. 1 i don't own a phone & 2 i don't know you."

 

nice move! i would probably ask where did he get my msn and if he doesn't know, i'll block him.

 

i could not agree more. nice way 2 phrase it as well. i never give out my email apart from accounts and friends, and so on. also, this doenst apply to my much.1: because now i only use my mum's account to use messenger. 2: i use gmail!:D
