wings? on humans? as awsome as it would be to fly... I don't think it's right to be grafting wings to people... it's not how we were made to be... we weren't intended to fly...

The wings would just be for decoration, probably. Birds' bones are hollow, that's why they are so light.

What about the animals that the parts come from? Thinking about that just sickens me.

Well I was kinda expecting not plastic but like dna fragmentation or mutation. so I'm disappointed to see it instead of dna, plastic surgery. It's kinda good though so people could resemble how they would look like. THat's interesting.

It certainly is an out-there wish, but if it's their money they are allowed to spend it as they see fit. Sure it's impractical but much of the human race is spent on being impractical based on opinions and ability to act on it. Regardless the same argument could be easily made for tattoos and piercings, this is just another level to that same aesthetic desire. Some could say it's more drastic, but it's relative to the person. You could boil it down to really decorative metal embedded (or specific pigment in the case of tattoos) vs. having scales, feathers or other biological structures not normally found on humans punt onto humans.

However with this I would like to think that the re-attachment process for missing limbs is going smoothly or smoother; I haven't been quite up to date in that regard....

I still wonder why we wouldn't be able to fly with them..What's the point?

We can't fly with those wings because of two variables:
    1. They would have to be immensely big, and that wouldn't be practical for, just about anything really
    2. Birds's bones are hollow, which makes the much lighter, so they can fly, we, however, are much heavier, so even with HUUGe wings we couldn't fly for more than a few seconds.

It seems like a huge waste of time really. Humans don't NEED tails or wings, and if they did, they'd come naturally through evolution. That's how the animals with tails and wings got theirs.

I really think money going to this could really be put to a different and better use.

honestly, wings(that work) would be awesome. it would also ruin the car industry.....eventually, when i could afford it, i probably would get them......

this is how the world works, if its there, and it has a price, someone, somewhere, in this case me, will buy it......

Why would anyone want wings grafted onto their body? Yet another science failure. Shouldn't we be learning things a little more relevant?

great another way for people to think plastic surgery is good. sure wings would be nice to have, but it would make lives harder for people. and spending that much money just for wings or a tail is absurd really

Lol, and I thought getting fake breasts was stupid!

I believe God made us the way we are, and if he wanted us to have tails or wings, he'd have given them to us. Besides, they'd just be good for appearance, not for anything else-- I mean, what good are wings you cant use to fly with? The whole thing is just absurd to me. We could be using this time spent trying to graft on wings and tails to make valuable, practical developments.

Although, I *must* say, it would be kinda cool to have a tail. >.< But all I can think about are those kids that are born with some weird tentacle type thing growing out of your back, and that's not attractive to me xD

Fake breasts are OK to a point. I mean if you want them to look proportionate to your body it's fine. Just don't go overboard.
