Mudkip, name him derp and don't evolve him. Then level the crap outa him and destroy the Elite 4 with a derp.

 

Mudkip, simply because of the nearly broken type advantage it had in that game.

 

Torchic. Kung-fu frickin' chicken beats all those other stupid fire-fighting starters.
