I'm Banned From Death Note...

Well, I've watched both Bleach and Death Note.

Both are great anime. But to me, Death Note beats Bleach by a mile.

Sure Bleach has those type of characters and that addictive storyline, but it's just an update from what we all know to be Naruto.

Death Note on the other hand is totally different. The storyline, as La Sofa said, is more dark. The whole aspect is more of a violent way of killing, even though they don't express it as such.

But to block Death Note instead of bleach...?

That's absurd. Bleach is filled with just "ctrl+c" and "ctrl+v" add ons. It has way more slashing rather than Death Note.

I'd have to say a few things on this reply as well:

Is realistic a term when it comes to a Death God sleeping over your house while you have a notebook that can annihilate someone in about 40 seconds?

Show them an episode of Bleach. I haven't caught up, but give it in to the hacking&slicing bits of the show. They'll hate that too xD

Have they ever seen Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends? 'Cause it'll be extremely terrifying for them to see Bloo and his friends then.

Its not so bad, adult swim puts the episode on their webbie before every showing, so as long as your compy can play vids, you'll be ok =D

Oh yes, and my dad and Stepmom are prolly as addicted to DN as I am, especially mah Dad. So I never have that problem anymore cause he records it with comcast every week xD

 

I would argue and state that you are clearly old enough to tell the difference between what is possible and 'impossible.' Last time I checked, you can't get an actual 'Death Note'. It's just entertainment, not a tool to brainwash people into killing other people.
