I don't really care about trophies, I just like to be able to play online for free after purchasing a game.

I think if you get 100k they give you free live or something like that from what I've been told.

 

Sounds like it's fake, like on PS3 I get messages saying "Send this to all your friends" for prizes like 50 USD or a brand new game or other crap. Microsoft, giving out free Live to users who already pay for it . . . hahahahahahaha!!!

 

No its not a message or anything its actual legit free live for getting 100k legit because you can just use a credit card to get all the stuff. The highest I've seen personally is 93k the games money had was serious every freaking game for 360 what... How has the time and money for that?

 

$400 console, a good 5-10K invested in games, and a life wasted later, "You've earned one free month of LIVE. Congratulations."

 

360 is trash to begin with, but I think its more than that even though 30days does sound like something markcrosoft would do. Damn marks +.+

 

Honestly, from a Playstation fans perspective, I'll quote a show, "Ten to one, they're all complete crap." Playstation sucks because of the service, Microsoft sucks because of the cost, so forget the both of them. I'll stick to being a Doctor on the Wii. It's not the Doctor I want to be, but it'll have to do.

 

Actual I like Sony service more than the punk boxes although they too suck at times. 360 is just a awful systems like ewww... I love the Wii but I play 360 more only because my PS3 needs to be sent back to get some imported parts fixed DX

 

It might just be America then, because that is a RIDICULOUS price to pay for even a PS3. A good Hard drive on new Xbox is only £170 ($250). I probably paid the same or less for my second hand one. And I have just over 60 X360 games and even if I had bought all of them for full price at the day of release (which I obviously haven't) the cost would only be £2,400 ($3600). And let's say I include the price of LIVE, which I don't even pay for, that's £120 ($180) for services, online chat, gold member prizes, events and discounts, not near as many as PS+ but enough for me to make a good deal out of.

My PS3 collection is around half that though, and I've probably only ever played 4 games of them online. So the service might be free but it's still not worth it for my collection.

Then get a PC?
I mean it's obvious you do not want to pay for better console service, yet have good quality, then buy a PC. They are the best of both.

Comparing the two points systems is like comparing the scoring of tennis and soccer.
