My first fanart in a long time, at least 2 years. The hands and feet were the hardest to get right, and I couldn't think of an appropriate background, hence the nothing...ness? Spoiler Also, here's the lineart if anyone's interested in coloring it or whatevs. Spoiler
Awww this is so sweet c: I actually like how there's no background - it makes it simple and you focus more on your subjects. However, I would like to point out a few things. The hands and feet do look off, but I understand - I can't draw them properly myself. Here, their feet don't really look like feet - and shaped more like paws. Feet are like hands, they have a joint which is the ankle and then you have the actual foot that is flat at the bottom. Here there isn't much distinction on where the foot starts. As for the hands, try drawing them as a circle then some lines first. Remember that we have a palm and then fingers, because here the fingers look pretty off. And not too proportioned. Another thing is it looks like she's sitting on nothing rather than his lap. With the girls legs, you can see how they are almost 3-dimensional because of the curved lines you used. Boys are no different, they still got em curves. I think the main thing here is when you look at where she's sitting, you notice how close their waists are to each other which gives the illusion that she's not sitting on his lap, but rather super, incredibly close to him and it kind of puts it off a bit. I suggest drawing them separately. Like completely finish one individual first, then add the next - so that there is consistency in both of their anatomies. Then lastly, proportions can be improved. She has a very long neck and a rather long skull - this is because of the hair. It's too much on top of the head like a hat giving the concept of her having a very large forehead. Also the hair looks rather stiff than flowing which is natural to hair. Though, you've done a very good job. This is just so sweet and darling to look at.
