    It wouldn't be that much surprising actually. In fact, you could say that it's been postponed for a few years and sometime in the future they will pick it up again. Same goes for KH3.

    I think the most likely thing that was discussed in the spam zone version was it'd take up a new name. I highly doubt it's been canned completely, but they could be postponed it like you said. Seems more likely since it'd be a massive waste of time, money and resources if they didn't complete it.

    This pisses me off, I was excited for this game because it seemed that this time Square was actually going to TRY and make a good modern FF (I'm not getting into why I don't like modern Final Fantasy, maybe another time)
    Now I kind of don't want to get KHIII when it comes out, it seems that they care about that more than this game. Hopefully its just a rumor and Square will say its still happening, but if its true than well, you've failed me again Square, and their running a thin line on what games I buy from them due to me disagreeing with them about A LOT of things.

    i actually thought this was cancelled a long time ago since we never very much about it despite being announced so long ago. i don't think it's actually cancelled though because i remember reading somewhere that Final Fantasy Theatrhythm featured music from Versus XIII

    Kotaku are credible the day hell freezes over. I don't know if it was stated earlier, but Kagari said we will see something about Versus at TGS this year. It's baseless.
