If you saw a poor person begging for money...

What would you do?

 

I tend to not have any money handy so try not to look because I get really sad that I can't help them. There's loads in Belfast..........

Well,I'd give the guy a 5-er,so hopefully he can buy a sandwhich or something.

 

How many people would TRULY even care? Some people just SAY that because they believe it is morally right. But in truth, if they came across that situation, they could care less.

It's true. If I saw a poor person begging for money...I could only feel sorry for him.

Never give a homeless person money! They buy smokes and alcohol! Give them food! (for the record, I couldn't resist voting for the tackle one, but I would really give food)

I remember I was going to buy him some food but the person walked away..

Well, most of the time it's the person bad decisions that got them on the street in the first place. If you gave them money there's a good chance they would buy whatever the reason that got them there: drugs, alcohol, and such. Thus not learning anything; just repeating their habits.

So I would not give them money, rather spend that money on food for them; if I felt sorry enough. Or maybe just feel sorry for them; because they are where they are because of themselves. It's not someone else's fault, nor is it their obligation to help them. It would just be the curtious thing to do.

 

What do I get in return :3

 

Um I probebly give them 5 dollars or not care at all. :sleep:

 

I would give the person food (if I had it) because then Thwy would eat it and not buy smokes with any money

 

I don't give them anything, mainly because i dunno if they will spend it on drink or something like that. Yes shame on me.

But i know a woman that buys them food instead, which is a good idea.

I wouldn't care...yup..you heard me. Why wouldn't I care? Because no matter what you do, they will still be homeless and still be begging for money even after you give them some. Sure you could help them out for a day, but in the end it won't make a difference. They are still going to be the same regardless of what you do for them.

So screw it. I'd just tell them to get a job. They have to learn not to depend on other people to get through life. You have to make your own living. Make their own money. Not have people just give it to them. If life was that easy, there wouldn't be a such thing as stress..
