If you haven't heard yet, They're making a live action American Death Note movie

Like I said, people look to HSM to define his acting abilities. It's natural that casting people would think the same, and it's disappointing. As long as this viewpoint of him is so prevalent, society will whore it out until it's completely dead. The meme conundrum, if you will.

 

What are all the movies he's starred in? Just wondering.

In the public eye, Zack=HSM. So far, we've seen nothing other than him in HSM. So not only is it a gamble to put him as Light Luke, we anime fans also lose even more reputation in the eyes of the public.

I know another Movie with Zac Effron as the Main Role and boy that movie was a really bad cliche.

There is no reason to trust that script. It's obviously not official. Anyway, I'm all for a remake, provided it doesn't suck. It will, though. It's an American live-action anime adaptation. It's bound to suck. But IF it doesn't, I'm all for it.

 

Finally finished reading the spec script. It doesn't seem that bad at all. I mean, it's definitely not Death Note, but it's unique in its own style, and I like it for that reason. They kept it real which will attract far more Western viewers than not.

In comparison it will never be better than the show, however.

It's not Death Note. I agree it can be a decent Hollywood movie. Only the anime is DN, cuz it came first!!!!
