I just finished reading through the script.

Light's name is Luke.

The entire concept of shinigami was removed.

It's rare I even watch a live-action movie based on the anime. :/ Ehhhhhh Luke? Um, just wondering who came up with that name to replace the name...Light? The Producers or the writers?

Overall impression so far: I'd rather watch doujinshi digimon yaoi tentacle rape than sit through this piece of crap.

EDIT: Page 55. Any chance this movie had of making people consider morality has been utterly crushed. People are calling L no better than Kira for using a DEATH ROW inmate to try to find Kira.
